Would you be interested in selling it? Yeah, Esee has a weird cult following. In fact, I refrained from purchasing an Esee for a very long time because of all the Esee backyard ninjas out there, they could be a very rude bunch. I guess they didn't get the memo that there are way better knives out there. It wasn't up until a few months ago I got my first Esee 6 which I absolutely love, but I'm not going to be a prick about it. I use an Ontario RTAKII as my large chopper, and my E6 to bridge the gap between small & medium sized tasks. I think this set up is great, especially with having 5160 on a larger blade and 1095 on the smaller blade, I think is perfect.
@@DoloresVillatoro-ho5jg thanks for checking it out. This is a good one and at this moment I wouldn’t sell it. I
Great video as always BigJ!!!
Thanks man!!!
Those are some tough knives Keep up the great content
Thanks, will do!
Looks like a pretty damn sweet knife. I don't have any Ontario fixed blades. I have 3 or 4 of the Ontario RATs. I love em. I need to pick up a nice sheath. That one you got looks really good. Stay well buddy!
Thanks for checking it out, that sheath is nice and i can fit other blades in there if i ever need to, the Bravo-1 fits pretty good in there. Have a good weekend!!!
Yo J I love them ONTARIO I think they may be better than Esee really nice piece I like it a lot…… be well brother 😊
I've been looking at the OKC tactical offerings. Not sure if I'll pick any of the bigger pieces up.
This thing is just big and blocky, i wouldn't recommend unless you just wanted to test it out. There are too many other better options for just a few more bucks. Thanks for checking it out!!!
They announced the company has been sold. The new owners intend to shut down production. Hurry and buy.
Ontario makes some great knives! I like them! And also the history of them! The only complaint I have is they do come dull . How about this one?
I’ve never used this one but with it being 1095 I would say it will not hold a decent edge after use.
@@bigjsknives Ontario is a great knife though! Love the content BigJ
@@bostonbladereviews919 thanks, I did a short and threw ur channel on it with others that have been good to me. I used the Benchmade 940 to try and get as many views as possible
@@bigjsknives man I gotta check that out now! I didn’t notice let me check it out! And thank you BigJ! Much appreciated! #knifecommunity
Scored one of these vintage ones recently around $60 with the actual tang stamped not lasered. It's in primo conditon and looks like it has seen very little use, but razor sharp with a mirror finish. Best part is it came with a custom kydex sheath. So far I dig the design. Paired with a large RD9 or BK9 and I'm satisfied. I really do not see the point in spending over $150 for a production or custom knife. If it's 1095, 5160 or 420HC, that's all you need. But in today's world I'm not supposed to say that.
It’s a good knife & This thing will definitely get the job done!! Thanks for checking it out!!
Hurry over and buy them before they are gone. OKC is going out of Biz!
Seen that, I need to get a sp-1
@@bigjsknives you know the value is going to go up on anything OKC
It’s a joke on how people are!!!! Boy you should have seen what I would have said!!!!! I don’t play that ignorant shit especially something so silly like that!!!!! Be well send it over here I’ll put it on the website I’ll blow that page up it will be funny as shit 😂
I gave it back to them before i deleted the post, they were very dirty about it. I said "you wouldn't be saying that shit to my face", but you know how the keyboard warriors are. It's the only Negative interaction i've had in the knife community so i just left the group and decided i was done with their products, even tho i was a big fanboy. The community here on YT has been the best i've seen. No matter what the knives are, from $15 to $1500 everyone seems to be respectful for the most part. Hope you stay well my man!!!

I'd be willing to trade my BK18 Harpoon. I too have hardly used it since making my review video.
I also have a semi custom Enzo Skinner I built thats very nice one of the most comfortable hunting /camp knives ive ever made. It has an enzo dangler sheath ...beautiful light wood handle from a rhododendron tree. I used a deer horn spacer, leather and hunter green fiber spacers + a brass fitting . I could send pics if ya want.
Anyways I plan on buying a Tak1 but if i can make trades and each can get a knife they'll use it can be a win win.
Let me know if thats something you might consider .
Sorry, with them shutting down I’m gonna hang on to this one. It’s the only true Ontario I own. Thanks for reaching out tho.
@bigjsknives Yeah no problem, I'm doing the same I have an Ontario SK5 Blackbird and SP5 Survival Bowie I'm keeping in the family. I hate seeing American companies shut down like that , just sad .
Thanks for responding.
Cheers 🍻
