Thank you for these videos. I bought a 92 Spider Veloce last year. It runs and drives great, but I think this year I need to get under the car and see what could be improved. Starting with the front suspension that is showing its age.
Many years ago I made up the exact rods, it worked. Not worth risking injury from the springs, they can be deadly. BTW in Oz we call the rods 'all threads' , they are used in the building industry. Cheers

Would a spring compressor tool work instead of the three 12 in rods? 🤷🏻
standard spring compressor tools won't work because the pan will get in the way. The threaded rod of the tools will just hit the pan.
