    I just started playing last month and I am in love with the core mechanics and I want to grind to make it to a DLC and hopefully qualify for a world championship in the next 3 years.
    Would this process basically be securing a ticket to DLCs to get points to qualify for invite only tournaments to then qualify for the NA Championships?

      DLC tickets are open to everyone, although they go fast. In NA they’re purchased through Eventbrite. The top 16 players (I believe) from each DLC get an invite to Nationals (happening this weekend, incidentally), and then top players from that get an invite to Worlds.
      Wishing you the best for your grind. We’ll definitely be following you and cheering you on 🥳

      @ thank you!! Correct me if I’m wrong but the event schedule for 2025 isn’t posted yet right? And if I go to eventbrite can I follow something to get an instant notification when a sale is up? I’m hoping they do a northeast event so I don’t have to take a flight…

      @@LL43216 Nothing has been announced yet. I'd half expect something to be indicated this weekend. PPG are the NA organizers, so they're a good resource to follow. But honestly, details are usually very scarce.

      There’s only one DLC left which is Seattle next weekend, and is sold out right now. If you follow our Instagram, we’ll be posting details for the next year once they’re announced.

      Although, there will be two Continentals coming next, where they are currently announcing one final chance to make the cut to the World finals. The actual registration page isn’t up yet, but it should open on Wednesday for the European championship.
      We can’t share links here on UA-cam, but if you google “DLC European Championship fanfinity” you should be able to find some details! ^^

    Are there anything people who are disable should do before going to the DLC?

    • @InkbornHeroes
      @InkbornHeroes  5 місяців тому +1

      Hey there! We haven’t experienced it ourselves, but PPG Events Management - the company responsible for organizing the event - has a dedicated form for Accessibility + Accommodations, that they put together for every new event.
      You can read more about this in the DLC Guide we added to the description of this video, but to quote Kim and Sarah: “At past events, the ADA tables are located away from the main playing area, providing closer access to amenities that may be necessary and provide a quieter environment. When paired with other players, they will often come to your table, minimizing the need for movement between rounds.
      If you require accommodations for an electronic device, such as a blood glucose monitor, it's crucial to communicate this to the organizers beforehand.
      This will help prevent any misunderstandings or potential infractions.
      These tables are a very high table number compared to the other tables in the main area, for example 6300. This makes them easy to find and signals competitors to meet in the ADA section when they see a very high table number.”

    It looks like very few if any children. If that was the case it's unfortunate

    • @InkbornHeroes
      @InkbornHeroes  4 місяці тому +1

      There definitely weren’t many children in the main tournament, which maybe isn’t surprising. I know there were some in side events though, and a 14 year old won a larger constructed tournament which included some past DLC winners 🏆
