I just wish they did better with making new cards playable. I feel like if they don't do something it's hard to avoid every set having less and less impact.
Thank you for this upload. I am considering getting a Trove and to se whats in it and talking about it helps making an informed decision. I did not know about the gift box! Again thanks for the video.
We are very glad that it was helpful to you! 😊 We will be publishing a Pre Order Guide for Archazia’s Island next week, where we will go even more into details. Don’t forget to check it out! 🥳
Hello! You most likely won’t read this or at least have most likely already thought of this but for the 2 color cards I’d just put them on their entirely own page but that would require you to move to a completely different tracker layout . I know yall will figure it out! Love your videos though thank you for making such great content!
Hey hey! We are definitely reading and responding to this! We love going through all comments! ☺️ We’ve been working on the tracker today, also because of how it is affecting the layout, now that Instagram changed its aspect ratio for posts. But when it came down to the dual-ink cards, because they literally belong among the regular numbers from 1 to 204, and they also sit within one of the six ink types in sequence, we decided to just place it according to its number in the tracker. Having said that, I love your idea about another dedicated tracker for that as well. So we might do a second one, just for the dual-ink cards as well. Thanks for the comment! 😊💜
My bet is that the dual ink cards just have two colors. For example, dual ink ruby-sapphire card is NOT restricted to ruby-sapphire decks. Instead, it can be used as a ruby card OR as a sapphire card. So it's not a restriction - it's a bonus! Simple.
It’ll be interesting if that’s the case. Like being able to give pairings with limited card draw or removal some new tools. It could really shake things up
That would be cool! The details on the pre-release aren’t super clear, but this is what the post said: “Pre-Release: Starting with Reign of Jafar, we will be moving to a pre-release program. Hobby Retailers can register through RPH for the Reign of Jafar Pre-Release event that will take place one week prior to the full set release (the full set release includes all distribution channels). RPH retailers are permitted to sell product in-store starting with their pre-release event. There will also be promo cards in your Disney Lorcana OP kit to support a "Buy-A-Box" promotion, promos only available at RPH retailers to incentivize purchases in your stores rather than online, and Pre-Release Pack Rush events (while supplies last).”
I’m excited for the new set and the sets after, and I’m all in, but… I gotta say this: the pull rates need to increase. At least a little. I believe chase cards should be hard to pull, but the last 2 sets seemed to go from “hard to pull” to “almost impossible “ to pull. I bought 3 Azurite Seas boxes and didn’t pull one enchanted, or one Maui, and even one Genie.
This is a great point, and I’ve seen it mentioned quite a bit in the community. After release week, the return on investment of boxes drops so quickly, and the pack opening experience is kind of lame because of it. Improving pull rates would be great, but we’d also love to see more variety in packs. Alt arts and things like that to mix it up a bit.
So I’ve got 2 thoughts regarding some of this. 1. How will vanish and ward interact? Could it be a good combo? And 2. For the 3 figures. Perhaps the gargoyles from hunchback? I would love that.
Ward will prevent characters with Vanish being chosen, so it’s going to be a really powerful combo. And we’re going to pass out with excitement if we get Hunchback of Notre Dame cards this set.
@ I’ve been working on an idea I had using Simba pride protector(who readies other characters if he’s exerted at the end of turn) and kanga nurturing mother(who can select a character to become in challengeable for a turn when she quests) with the added thought of one of a few ward giving people to make a super annoying wall. But this either with or in place of that could be even cooler. 😆
@@BasicEvolutions I believe it was a way to really introduce the concept of illusion cards. It’s very likely that next set, with Jafar, there will be a new QUEST, and I believe that his cards will all be Illusion-based.
The information from the original post is a little bit ambiguous, but my understanding is that the 40 Non-Foil cards have the EXACT same artwork as the Enchanted one. BUT, it does not have the enchanted foil effect and likely will have borders. But, this is still a different art of the original card art. Is the same art as the top 8.
Us too, for many reasons. Between Matheus and I we’ve made a few finals, and definitely feel like the pressure was off a bit since we got a playmat win or lose. Now that we have to win, it makes that final match way more intense. That was probably their intention, but it does feel bad for those of us playing a bit more casually.
@@InkbornHeroes I also prefer the runner up mat. Ended up with one of each last set and sold the champion mat, I'm just less likely to play a mat that says CHAMPION across it, but think that they are great looking mats.

I don't like this prize giving to everybody. Not to be negative but I think the fun of trying to play a championship is to try to win something that is truly unique or exclusive for winners (top10/top8 top5 etc).
I think they’re trying to cater to a wide cross section of players. At least the top 8 prizing is different since it’s foiled, and the winner Playmat becomes a bit more prestigious too
Ravensburger is doing a great job with the cards. Everytime they reveal a new set, im like: Take my money, im in! 😂
I just wish they did better with making new cards playable. I feel like if they don't do something it's hard to avoid every set having less and less impact.
And they haven’t even revealed the new doggos yet! 🐶

You are most welcome! ✨
Oh my god I hope those figures in the back are the fates ! I want more witchy cards 😁
More witchy cards and more Hercules would be so hype. I want a Hermes card
Seems like Vanish coupled with a Ward giving card would make it more powerful.
I had the same thought! That combo is going to be quite strong

I just want pre-release box that comes with a 40 card deck and some packs just like pokemon does

Izzet! 😊❤
The new characters eye color was the biggest give away on the duel cards and we didnt even notice
That, and the Bolt and Lady art were pretty big clues. Do you think we’ll get a Sapphire Emerald Archazia card? 🦉
With lady coming in, her donut and coffee should be an item
That would be amazing! 🤩
All the above :)

Seriously though… spending $140 on a box and 3 times and and getting a monetary return of $25-$30 a box is gonna turn people away from the hobby

Duel ink cards look sick. I don’t get why Jafar gets a stater deck when he leads the next set but I guess that’s for storyline.

Wait so you technically get a enchanted automaticity form playing in set champs

Pretty bummed to be losing the runner up playmat at set champs.

I’ll be curious to see if they change the format maybe, because I know a lot of people have the same preference as you
I thought it was if an opponent chooses this character the opponent gets banished haha
Haha, it took us a minute too. The wording is so bizarre 🤣
I believe fabled will be story’s of character lore. But that’s just me
That was our initial thought too. Time will tell I guess 🧐
I think dual ink cards will need to be played in a deck of that two colors. The complexity of game development would increase dramatically otherwise.
Yup, our feeling too. And it keeps the game simpler for newer and younger players too
Well you are only allowed two colors in a deck. I think the dual color cards will be restricted to those kinds of decks only.
That's exactly how they are gonna work.. blurple cards will only be allowed in blurple deck.. no other combos will be able to use them
My bet is that the dual ink cards just have two colors. For example, dual ink ruby-sapphire card is NOT restricted to ruby-sapphire decks. Instead, it can be used as a ruby card OR as a sapphire card. So it's not a restriction - it's a bonus! Simple.

Top 8 still get foiled and then top two get mats
Only first place will be getting the playmat. No runner up playmats as of Jafar’s Return
