No seriously though, KH3 is super fun and is not given enough credit. Most fans who didn't like it were mostly upset the conclusion to their favorite saga didn't end as they would have liked. I argue it is not a bad conclusion for these characters or the franchise especially if you played all the games and went in blind. However, almost all the big reveals of KH3 were spoiled just before release, so fans got quickly bored with the Disney stuff and the lack of new story in those worlds (which was meant like every other KH game to build up to the finale, not necessarily push the story forward in big leaps) and of course, once they got to the end were frustrated when all the good moments were already spoiled by trailers Now that is square enix's fault as they kind of shot themselves in the foot there. And I get why that'd take out someone's thunder and have them thinking about their childhood and how good KH2/KH1 was. I love those games, however, going into KH3 blind and having it come at just the right time in my life. (And also just preferring the combat personally, which is my hottest take for this comment) I actually really enjoyed KH3 and I am proud to say it was my favorite game. It was the perfect blend of what I wanted since KH1, however, my wants are not everyone else's. So I get that a lot of people like the well-balanced and weighted combat of KH2 or prefer KH1 story where the Disney worlds were more included. I really like the balance of spectacle and skill in KH3 and feel it blends the combat of future game and KH2 quite well. It is a rewarding game to play and obviously I like the story just because it came at the right time in my life. However, we all want different balances and have different experiences. This is just my own and I felt like sharing it.

Because I’ve only played KH1 and KH3, I believe I didn’t “judge” the overall story arch as much as the big fans out there. With that, I actually absolutely love the story in KH3 and how it “ended”. It’s just a beautiful game all around and I’m all for the spectacle. 🤩

The only thing I had an issue with was the fact union x cross was so important to the kh lore especially with the MoM. I feel a lot of people didn’t know it existed like chain of memories and got lost and looked it up after the fact. Other wise I think it ended how it should have. Ending the light dark saga and tying up the xehanorts story and giving him and master eraqus peace.

Imagine if they release KH cards in the future, and then every single one of them have a hidden lucky emblem? 😂

Yeah, there’s two. The other ones on the map of Treasure Planet.

I can see 2 on the globe. One near bottom and one more near the middle to the right. I think most see the one near middle but the bottom one kinda stretches out a little. So 3 total.

I am sure we missed some. We need to keep checking it under the microscope. 🔬 hahah! 😅

I hope you and your wife have fun playing with them. We do try our best when building to balance the decks to an extent. Like not putting an evasive heavy deck against one with no counters. But yeah, they’re certainly not ideal, and we’re also not the best deck builders. But I think the suboptimal builds can be countered with applying basic TCG fundamentals when playing (knowing when to challenge/quest, what to ink, altering for a good curve).

Great question. I believe stores are encouraged to use Melee so that Ravensburger can verify you’re getting players attending. That being said, we’ve been going to a league for a year that has never used Melee 😅

They are very powerful cards indeed. We still want to see more people making Oswald work even better. Between him, and Maui, I still see more potential on Maui at the moment. Time will tell! ^^

It depends what your goals are. If you want to play with other people with the decks, getting different ones is good because you can try out different play styles. If you want to upgrade a deck, often the most efficient way is to buy two, and then take your favourite cards from those to make a new deck.

They’re definitely not for everyone. And sorry to hear about your pulls. Our case was a bit mid this time around, but other friends have had more success for sure.

Yeah, the starter decks don’t do so well against constructed decks. But played against decks of the same power level (usually other starter decks) they’re a lot of fun.

Hey! So they’re called Ink Tokens. It helps avoid mixing up our ink and our hand (but mainly for recording, it’s because they’re more visible on the camera). They’re allowed by the official Lorcana rules, though normally we don’t use them when playing. And we use sleeves from Sorcerer’s Arena.

I hear you! I get why they do as they do, but I wish it would always be based on characters as well. And when not a character, at least add a character drawing in a card about an action or song etc.

Yeah my first enchanted was belles library. I ended up selling it for 50 bucks on TCGP at least.

On paper, it felt like A Seaworthy Crew would be stronger. But yeah, actually Genius Reinvented ended up being quite strong

@ I’m sure with proper modifications, like the ones you suggested in your video on the Sea Worthy Crew deck, the pirate deck could be stronger but I suppose it wouldn’t be a starter deck if it was too advanced.

We have a bunch planned! Stitch, Big Hero 6, Moana and loads more. Usually we see which cards are available, then try and apply some general deck building logic (good curve of costs, not too many uninkables, synergies). And yes, we’d love to see Gargoyles 🤩

That’s such a wonderful comment! We started Lorcana by watching other people play, so glad we can do that for the community now. We’ll definitely be having more gameplay coming up over the next few weeks. We just ran out of theme decks we could do with the current set of cards. But the new set means new options 🥳
