Superman Contingency Plan: Light Yagami "My super hearing just picked up some teenager screaming at the top of his lungs about becoming the god of a new world and killing anyone who stands in his way, time to pay him a visit!"
Batman is one of the few fictional detectives that I am convinced could easily solve the Kira case simply because he exists in a world with magic and superpowers, so Batman wouldn’t rule it out when making theories unlike someone like Sherlock Holmes
In truth Kira fell before his mortality was revealed. I think that he fell when he chose Teru Mikami as his hand. My boyfriend thinks that he fell when Mellow got his hands on a death note because Kira didn't kill Sayu.
Batman: “How do I stop someone who has eluded law enforcement and even some of the world’s greatest detectives?” Joker: “Aw, you do think of me, Bats.”
Or you could use Deadman or The Spectre. They would probably find the shikigami who lost his Death Note, link him to Kira, and relay that info to Batman.
@@neoforrester4401 I personally wouldn't risk Clark's life if I was Batman, it's a massive gamble to just assume he can only kill humans from earth when it's a potentially magical source. I think a death note may not be limited to humans because in Jump Force Light Yagami wasn’t playable because the Death Note was quoted to be too powerful. Jump Force had people like Son Goku who wasn’t even human so the Death Note may be dangerous to Goku and if this is true Superman or any other alien life form wouldn’t be safe.
Given that he was able to give his name as Batman while under the influence of the lasso of truth it could be said that putting Bruce Wayne in the book might not actually work.

When Wonder Woman asked Batman what his name was under the Lasso of Truth, he answered "Batman". Batman is his true name. Now, Kira isn't likely to realize that, but if Misa gets a glimpse of "Bruce Wayne" with the Shinigami Eyes...
@@jacks1368I've seen that, but The Death Note only works if Light has a clear picture in his mind...Batman wouldn't work because The Death Note would have to kill anyone wearing a Batman costume. He'd need Bruce Wanye's face for it work.
It would be difficult for Kira to stop Batman because he'd have to write down "Batman" in the Death Note. That is his true name because Bruce Wayne died in the alley on the same night as Thomas and Martha Wayne, its what Batman calls himself in his head, as shown when he grasps the lasso of truth and calls himself Batman without it activating. But Kira would also need to know Batman is Bruce Wayne because he has to be able to picture the person's face in his head. But even if he somehow figured that out, he may not think to try writing down Batman.

@Gfish17 to a degree, I can understand that. I'm a big fan of the fictional vigilante who assassinates the bad guys who prey on the weak and innocent. The problem with Light, is that power completely corrupted him inside out. He started with good intentions, but then it was more about playing God than protecting people or even making the world a better place.
One detail that came up in the anime was that the key to Light's conviction lay in the murder weapon, the Death Note. If Batman got ahold of that, it'd be "Game Over" for Light. All it'd take is a handwriting expert from that point on since samples of Light Yagami's handwriting could easily be procured from his high school and compared to what's written in the Death Note. Something Batman would have the resources to pull off.
This is a 'classic' Crossover: Batman vs Kira. I think that Bruce would have come to all the same conclusions that L eventually did, as both of them have been compared to Sherlock Holmes in their deductive ability. The real question is: If Kira somehow becomes aware that Batman is looking for him, would he be able to deduce Batman is Bruce Wayne? In 'reality', we all know how ridiculously easy it would be to figure it out, but we can assume 'in universe' that its very difficult, maybe due to the billions Bruce has put into Disinformation to make sure the connection can't be made. Its been said elsewhere: Once Bruce realizes that some kind of magic would be involved, he would use h is connections to get some magic on his side (Etrigan, Diana, Zatanna) to even the odds, and he would eventually win.
I don't think they've ever made a video on that subject. Also, Liam Vickers was the creator of Murder Drones. Gooseworx was responsible for the Amazing Digital Circus.
Here are a couple things for Batman to worry about, misa and Ryuk. While ryuk is mostly mutual he can detect when bugs and cameras are being placed and Light has used him to find them. Shinigami eyes aren’t really an issue for Batman. You still need to see a person’s face to see their name, and the only time seeing Batman’s true name would be dangerous is when Batman is masked. Otherwise they would see Bruce Wayne’s name while seeing Bruce’s public persona, and they most likely wouldn’t know he’s Batman then.
For some reason, I'd like to think Misa Amane is her predecessor, because of the similar appearances, occupations, and them killing people, but maybe that's just me...
I'm surprised to see one of these contingency plans where Batman doesn't already know everything about the person he's planning around. I guess it's because if the debate on whether or not Batman's able to discover kira's identity. I kinda want a part 2 to the kira contingency plan, even though I don't think that's been done before.
Maybe just in case, Batman should call for aid from a mystical expert like Dr. Fate or Zatanna for extra backup. I’d also suggest Constantine but the guy’s reputation and actions are pretty questionable at best. Hopefully they can find a way to get rid of the Death Note for good along with the Shinigami.
Contingency plan code: Josefina Subject: Raul Menendez. Menendez's high tech weapons and his in depth planning will be cool to see how batman will fight him
he forgets that he has shinigami's that help him. Batman thinks he has a plan for everyone. Batman has a major flaw he is only a normal human with normal technology.
Superman would be safe because his birth name is barely ever used. Wonder would be dead because people know her real name in public do to her being an ambassador and not having a "secret" identity in most modern version., Flash would be hard, Green Lantern might be easy and hard depending on which lantern it is, Martin Manhunter would be impossible cause Jon can read minds as well as make light just forget his name when ever he tries to learn or re learn Martians name, Aqua man maybe? Hawkman/ girl also coin flip, because do to there reincarnation ability they'd comeback.
I'm not sure what Batman could actually do about a character written by a powerscaler author who specifically wrote Yogiri to be stronger than all other characters in fiction. Any contingency plan will probably hinge on using Yogiri's personality and self-imposed rules rather than actually dealing with that absurd power. However for this one (and in general) I would like to remind Batman; contingency plans are (usually) for when someone goes berserk, and is not necessarily their usual self following their usual self-imposed rules. As of where the anime left off, we still technically don't even know Yogiri's full power; as it is still partially sealed, with Yogiri himself able to remove the seal partially or in whole at any time at will. It is common in the anime for an in-universe contingency plan against him to be shown to fail for lack of knowledge about the variety of means of his power reaching, or even lack of realization of the extent of one of his means of reach. Given that he can even kill an abstract concept such as his current momentum, it should be expected to be caught off-guard by what else his seemingly one-note ability can do.
It has a message it's specifically attempting to convey to a certain audience, so there are some slightly sketchy bits there to pull in more of that particular audience (certainly in the first couple episodes); however, at least I personally didn't get too put off by those. I think the actual substance of the story (including within those first couple episodes) should still be enjoyable for the majority of the more general audience, I personally found season 1 to be an enjoyable watch overall. Though I haven't gotten into season 2 yet, I should start on that soon~ I will say; avoid spoilers if you're gonna watch Oshi No Ko, probably even mute this reply chain once you see this, as the internet as a whole has a bad track record with directing spoilers right at those who clearly haven't watched a show yet. Oshi No Ko in particular has a somewhat important one that watchers seem to have trouble keeping hush about when talking about the show, though some internet communities are better about it than others.

I'm surprised to see one of these contingency plans where Batman doesn't already know everything about the person he's planning around. I guess it's because if the debate on whether or not Batman's able to discover kira's identity. I kinda want a part 2 to the kira contingency plan, even though I don't think that's been done before.
And then Batman died of a heart attack.

I was JUST about to ask for this and I'm a week late, thanks for this!
This is essentially the Long Halloween lmao
Maybe just in case, Batman should call for aid from a mystical expert like Dr. Fate or Zatanna for extra backup. I’d also suggest Constantine but the guy’s reputation and actions are pretty questionable at best. Hopefully they can find a way to get rid of the Death Note for good along with the Shinigami.
These videos are so awesome. Please keep it up.
also if so he could use Failsafe which has all the memories of batman to end him

L had figured out who Kira was, before he had entered Japan.
He just had no evidence to prove it or explain how he Kira was doing it.
It was a nice touch that Batman doesn't know instantly who Kira is, that makes this not a contingency plan, but an active investigation. Nice job!
he forgets that he has shinigami's that help him. Batman thinks he has a plan for everyone. Batman has a major flaw he is only a normal human with normal technology.
First time I've seen one of these where Batman recognizes that his life may be at stake and makes plans in case he fails/dies in action
Great Moment..For Batman is the Death of Batman by Kira 04:07/ Justice League vs Kira..Just Amazing.
Contingency Plan Code: Destiny's end
Subject: Yogiri Takatou
Source: My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered

(And i'd like to point out that i have not seen that show, how is it to you people?)
Though I haven't gotten into season 2 yet, I should start on that soon~
I will say; avoid spoilers if you're gonna watch Oshi No Ko, probably even mute this reply chain once you see this, as the internet as a whole has a bad track record with directing spoilers right at those who clearly haven't watched a show yet. Oshi No Ko in particular has a somewhat important one that watchers seem to have trouble keeping hush about when talking about the show, though some internet communities are better about it than others.
Beyond perfect Batman contingency plan
Batman has the aid of Justice League Dark, which is specifically more magic focused group of Justice League. Kira's up shit's creek without a paddle when Deadman starts looking for him with Batman's intel.
