Slime was still around in the late 80s/early 90s, as were the chemistry sets. I can't remember what was all in the kit, but there were a lot of different bottles, syringes, scalpels/blades, etc.
Slime actually made a comeback a few years ago...I remember we were selling the hell out of gallons of super glue at my job,there was also Nickoldean Gak in the 90s I believe .
I had a chemistry set in the 80's, and it included sodium cyanide. And the first reaction in the book made use of it. (Combine sodium cyanide and copper sulfate.) Edit: I can't believe I remembered that!
I had Milky the Cow..she was awesome!! (but you forget to mention the fact that she came with "pills" ... you put a little white pill inside her udder...which dissolves as the water hits it and makes it look like milk..... i have no idea what the pill was made of..but it was fun lol)
