Shocking tbh. Girls get anywhere between 10-30 likes a day, so obviously a 3/10 will think she's a 9/10. Conclusion: most men are simps and desperate, whereas most women can't find the 'right' one like the green scarf women despite having more choice than ever. These 'unserious' guys they speak of are guys way above their league who realize they can do better.
exactly this, went on the app and i was shocked to have withnessed more so people who are divorced,with kids but dont tell u, people who have 4 diffrent profiles on it. People who dont know how to treat women,rude ones, just on it for a prank. Scammers on it who are not the picture nor wont show them despite many convo's. after 4 years now i have put it away. Cuz it only messed me up more so mentally. And ofcourse good for those who did match. not everyone so lucky i guess ill die single.

These apps are fraudulent: people are definitely there for all the wrong reasons. Definitely nothing “halal” about those apps unfortunately. I wish this documentary showed “Black Muslim women” perspective because we have it worst. At this point “Allah” definitely have to help us sisters.

In my view, it is not good for men and women to choose their life patterns on dating apps. It's better to know the person you want to marry in person, and it would help you examine his/her personality. But if you met your couple on date apps, you definitely do not have confidence that you can analyze or make a better decision.

In my country, many Muslim women are so independent financially, they refuse to marry until they reach an age they begin to regret it. I jave been actively looking for over a decade and have no success in finding a decent muslim man who would accept me with my kids. My kids are grown up & independent. My personal experience with Muslim men who I talked with in the past that they are only interested in dating but they don’t say that openly. When they realize that I am not into just giving men some cheap thrill, than they would stop showing any interest. It’s sad to say my personal experiences with Muslim men!!

Excellent documentary! Nice to see Al Jazeera putting out things like this. Would have been great if there was another resource person aside from the marriage counsellor. The young UA-camr is a bit full of herself, "what do you bring to the table?" - she declares her whole outlook to life succinctly, with the mentality that her law degree is a hard standard to match. I can only imagine her world view in 25 years, when she learns (hopefully, but unlikely) that ambition is no match for kindness - will your partner care for you if you get paralyzed or sick? If you give birth to a child with a disability, will a law degree or compassion be useful? In any case, her narcissism was balanced by the relections of others interviewed. We are all looking for a good life so its very encouraging that technology is being developed this way.

I jave been actively looking for over a decade and have no success in finding a decent muslim man who would accept me with my kids. My kids are grown up & independent. My personal experience with Muslim men who I talked with in the past that they are only interested in dating but they don’t say that openly. When they realize that I am not into just giving men some cheap thrill, than they would stop showing any interest. It’s sad to say my personal experiences with Muslim men!!

Excellent documentary! Nice to see Al Jazeera putting out things like this. Would have been great if there was another resource person aside from the marriage counsellor. The young UA-camr is a bit full of herself, "what do you bring to the table?" - she declares her whole outlook to life succinctly, with the mentality that her law degree is a hard standard to match. I can only imagine her world view in 25 years, when she learns (hopefully, but unlikely) that ambition is no match for kindness - will your partner care for you if you get paralyzed or sick? If you give birth to a child with a disability, will a law degree or compassion be useful? In any case, her narcissism was balanced by the relections of others interviewed. We are all looking for a good life so its very encouraging that technology is being developed this way.
