- Onto Boot Camp week 3 Day 2 and this time targeting a Bicep And Shoulder Workout With Dumbbells. But before we hit the Bicep And Shoulder Workout. First up we have our Tabata training to get the heart rate up , a good sweat on and the body burning some calories
As I Mentioned yesterday. This week if possible , let's looks to raise the weights a tiny little bit on each lift to make this week even tougher

As with every Zeus workout , I always recommend warming up and doing some dynamic stretching before hand. Even if it is only 5 minutes and we have you covered there

Boom and that’s exactly what you want. When you reach a point where your body is changing and the scale isn’t , that means results 💪. Fat burning , strength gaining

Solid pump on this one for the “show” muscles. I did go with lower weight on the shoulder exercises as my left shoulder was injured years ago. Went for form over reps count and thinking more weight was worth the pain. Still got a muscle pump and “burn” but no actual shoulder pain.
The lumberjacks are definitely a slight relief. I’ve been using lighter kettleBells for these and really enjoy that.

Perfect Mark, form always comes first. Even with lighter weights, with good form the shoulders will burn 👍

I was thinking about increasing the weights today. But I don't had to do that because for the first time ever my 15 lbs which I used throughout this boot camp felt like I had created over load. Thanks coach. I'm 18 and that was tough. I'm waiting for that day which allow me to increase weight.

Those splits squat humps were hell did them with crappy technique even though I tried to do them properly but got them done and legs were burning so bad at the end....and those shoulders were burning even more....it felt amazing what a good workout this was u r an animal brother thx !! Btw I was able to go heavier on the biceps holds this time around !!

Great one. Definitely getting onto some Grove anyway. Shoulders are literally on fire. Had to drop down to almost no weight for shoulder work in last rep. Daaaamn!

Hi Grant. My side raise strength is up to par yet. Would you recommend doing one arm at a time or just raising my arms as high as I can at the same time? Love the program
No you can do both at the same time But with this exercise lower the weight. It's a trickier exercise than a lot of others and an exercise I see done wrong all the time as people simply try to go go heavy and bring other muscle groups into play or try to jerk the weight up
Lower the weight way down even if that means very little weight at all and let the shoulders do all the work with slow controlled movements. That will burn more than going to heavy and having others muscles help or throwing weights up
That's why I like to do them sitting on the floor, helps eliminate other muscles coming into play. Go light and do it right as I like to say 👌

I never knew sitting on my arse could be such hard work.. Amazing how much less I can lift in the seated position, for Arnie Presses it was hard and lateral raises were almost impossible. Knee problems prevented me from doing jumping split squats so I substituted with alternating backwards lunges (I hope this was a good substitute?)
I think that is a great substitute, once you bad knees you have to vary or you just end up in a whole load of pain and unable to train
Yes good sub and good going. Yes doing those seated really helps eliminate any cheating, swinging or other muscles helping out. A good way to isolate and really make the muscles work
The last raises were killers today, can’t hardly lift my arms now
