I am a loyal Ford man, I love the Taurus. I bought my 2017 last year. Great Car all around! Yes Ford should keep them on the market. But that's just me. I receive many compliments.
Built Ford Proud and also I agree they should keep it on the market
I have a 2018 Taurus limited and I noticed that the P R N D L near the shifter does not illuminate, when at night, I have to look at the dash to see what gear it is in. Are they all like that or should it light up with the dash lights?
@@davidp5841It should be lit up.
@@ezequieltgarciaiii9888 thanks I will have to open it up to see if there is a bulb in there. From some research I just did it looks like a lot of people have the same problem.
@@davidp5841 may be loose or a defected bulb.
He’s quoting the wrong information regarding engine and performance. He’s confusing the Limited with the SHO. Overall though yes I agree the Taurus was retired way too soon. The Taurus was always one of the best sedans built by any domestic automaker. There’s a ton of them out there with well over 2-300,000 miles out there that have given their owners years of reliable service. Big mistake on Ford’s part to discontinue this car.
Great power with a v6, amazing AWD system, best in class trunk space, good ride comfort. All together a great buy for or under 20k right now. Only gripe is interior isn’t even comparable to other vehicles which were 37k MSRP at the time.
I really hope ford will keep them on the market im tryna get one of theses things as my first car:(
I have the 2016 very reliable just a great car!
Still going strong ? How many miles does it have ? If you don’t mind me asking
@@UptownKidd757 It has 120k great car! No engine/transmission issues 👍
@@JuanDominguez- how many miles did it have when you first got it ?
@@UptownKidd757 97,000
I just got this car as a loaner. It’s not bad.
Great looking car.
They should have made an external water pump design.
It’s internal and if the pump fails it gets coolant in the oil and vice versa.
Very involved replacement process.
Ford is stopping production of cars so how hard will it be to source parts in the future? 👀 I bought an Explorer instead.
This is the last year for all the cars expect the mustang no more Taurus after this year I am happy I bought mine 3 months ago
Yeah I was hoping they kept it honestly
@southwestpark forever that's great
Just purchased a 2019 Limited in Black exactly like the one in the video to replace my 2013 Taurus Limited when I heard this was the last model year produced.
Yes unfortunately they are discontinuing it but congrats on the new purchase 👍🏽
My favorite car. Nice very nice 😎
Thanks Appreciate the feedback also subscribe if you haven’t
"I apologize for the music" no need to apologize, it counts as a sound system test
I have a 2014. Nice vehicle. Unfortunately, the water pump is a problem. Expensive to repair
How much for the water pump repair?
@TheBestblue it's not so much the waterpump cost but rather the extensive procedure. It took me about 5 days to complete. I was scared thru the entire process. Remember to change the timing chain and the phasers. There defective.
The SHO has the eco boost engine not the limited
Some limited Taurus's do have the 365hp ecoboost engine.
@@justinnicolas2347 I have a Taurus limited and if a limited has it, it would have to be by special order and would not be in regular production.
@@justinnicolas2347 I just looked into it and I found some Taurus models to come with a 4 cylinder EcoBoost which is not a 365 hp engine
@@davidp5841 right special order you can. But off the line no
Yours is just the 3.5. No turbo
U must been watching the expert on car reviews .. good job bro
Love to have this car. Love the wood grain.
How do you cut off the doom light permanently
Hammer
Hope u guys did the recall for the water pump.
Gtbomb1 I have no recalls on mines I have a 11
I had an SHO. I think the water pump was a problem only in the twin turbo. It wasn’t an my SE and SEL. Yep, I’ve had three of this generation.
Where's the navigation system in the car
Excellent 🚗
We want the SRT
Does it have line assist?
Yes
@@DriveOnReviews how I can turn on? . I got same car 19 Taurus limited. There is camera on windshield. But no sign of line assist on cluster.
Honestly I haven’t reviewed the car in almost a years so I’m not sure I don’t remember
but is it AWD?
Yes, AWD is an option.
Dude, you don't even know what you are talking about. This is a limited trim, it does not have the 3.5 ecoboost! Only the SHO has that, I own a SHO. Get it together!
No problem but thanks for watching
All Taurus (post 2010) have the 3.5L V6. I’m not sure if it’s the ecoboost. But wouldn’t make financial sense for Ford to make a whole other v6 for these. However the SHO trim had 3.5L v6 with twin Turbo which the other trims didn’t have
@@deathstarresident Not true, Ford also offered a turbo 4 Cylinder for a few years as well. Look it up.
You mad af my guy get it together 😂🤣😭
Love the car...the presenter, well, get another job, you're not cut out for this...I'd rather listen to a radio announcer with a lisp.
Please talk at little slower please you sound like to are making up stuff
lol leave it to a knucklehead to get it wrong
it's not an eco boost, it's the regular v6. lol
how can he not know the difference between the
SHO and the limited? wishful thinking I guess huh 😆
