Young Lady, "THANK YOU"! I have searched everywhere to find out how to dry herbs. And came accross your web page and my search has ended. I am 64 years old and in my "GREAT" wisdom I decided to "POT" some herbs. I chose taragon, basil, sage, parsley, oregano, thyme, cilantro, chives, and last but not least, rosemary. Never the less I found out that I had an inate talent on "FARMING"! ALL IN MY APARTMENT! I have been almost evicted by my plants. And now I find I have enough herbs to supply McCormik for the next 3 years! LOL Just kidding, but Ya I have A LOT! You have pointed me in the right direction and I thank you for that! I happen to have a good dehydrator and I look forward to trying. All I ask is either with you or your family of subscibers, knowing the herbs that I have listed, time frame for each on drying as well as tips. I have been unable to get a difinative answer to that question. Keep this in mind Folks, this is my first time doing this I don't want to screw up. LOL TIA to all, and Nature Patch thanks for your channel.
I can't wait to experiment with my air fryer and see how my herbs go! I usually air dry them, but it takes forever as I'm in Brissie area and the humidity has been crazy with all the rain this year!
Amazing ! Already subscribed yoiur channel for the wonderful content and the beautiful guitar music in the background. THANKS for NOT playing the lousy modern hip hop music !! Best Wishes from Singapore !!
That's 212° Fahrenheit which is way too high of heat for herbs to keep any of their nutrients or medicinal properties. If you don't care about that and just want the herbs for their flavor, cool, but I just thought some might want to know this info.
Thanks for sharing i just bought our first air fryer and im thinking if i can use it in drying herbs coz im making my own tea so il try drying lemongrass coz its overflowing in our garden need to preserve it and use for my tea 😊 hope it goes well

I just ordered my groceries delivered today and have a handful of dill. and a air fryer.i have a food saver machine to keep it fresh when i come across a recipe that uses dill QUESTION can i freeze dill,
I take the rack out and put the leaves on the bottom and place the rack over the top of the leaves to hold them down. Works great
Thank you! Was wondering if that will work!
Good idea. I also just keep mine tied together with twisty ties.
Can also wrap loosely with tinfoil
Thanks! Tried it the other day minus the rack on top (of bay), PING PING PING, burnt 😂.
Good wishes 🙏🏼 from Scotland.
That's what my daughter told me too
