      It’s a mix of Monty Python and Spike Milligan surrealism with the slapstick of Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson.

    Quite possibly my favourite comedy sketch of all time. Can still remember watching it when first aired, dad in arm chair looking at me pissing myself laughing, shaking his head saying this it a load of crap, it’s not even funny. Which just made it funnier!

      There are so many great sketches they did but this one is hard to beat 💯👌🏼 but can you remember Bobs Organ when they have a pub inside his organ 😂 or Barry White talking to the copper piping 😂 🎶The heat from the fire has made her legs go red I’m going to have to rub Savlon on them before we go to bed 🎶 😂 & I can’t leave out Baron’s Night club with owner Paul Baron & Kinky John with Chris the doorman- I’m going to a river, what river you going to? I don’t know I don’t know any rivers, well just go to any river, right then I will 😂 fucking brilliant comedy gold

    I remember a kid at my school copying this performance with great accuracy and it brought the house down. Teachers, parents and kids were rolling on the floor laughing. That’s the power this kind of sketch can bring. Genius.

      I was there and pissed myself laughing. He looked nowt like him and then transformed into George Michael right there in front of the whole school. Was the best day of me life.

    There was something about these two. They made you feel like you were just witnessing two blokes who'd been out on the Piss, having a laugh together. Like their own private jokes.
    Silly as @'holes...cracks me up.
    I shall be forever laughing at their spoofs of Slade...the camping one is my fav, has me in stitches, even now just thinking of it, so thank you for that chaps!!

    At work my Mate and I used to pass the long,boring hours of our shift by imitating Vic and Bob's catchphrases l.''You wouldn't let it Lie!" "That was my idea!" "Only joking,or am I?" etc I got hooked on these guys after watching their one-off show, "The Weekenders".

    What a transformation, flippin' 'eck. I remember when this very first aired. I practically choked with laughter. Me and my old work pal were obsessed with them and still reminisce about all things Vic & Bob. No-one else ever understands what we are going on about when we throw in quotes.

    The audience in hysterics cracks me up as much as the sketch I remember I was like them the first time I saw this. I also like the fact that he comes in on his knees. I think it would have been even funnier if his flys were undone.

    Oh for the days of the lunacy of Reeves & Mortimer-how I miss them. When they first started out, all I remember is people saying they weren't funny, then saying, hey! They actually are really funny! So surreal! 🤣😂🤣💕
