So... this, I don't know how many years later randomly appears in my head every few weeks and makes me burst out laughing at the most inappropriate times
Quite possibly my favourite comedy sketch of all time. Can still remember watching it when first aired, dad in arm chair looking at me pissing myself laughing, shaking his head saying this it a load of crap, it’s not even funny. Which just made it funnier!
There are so many great sketches they did but this one is hard to beat 💯👌🏼 but can you remember Bobs Organ when they have a pub inside his organ 😂 or Barry White talking to the copper piping 😂 🎶The heat from the fire has made her legs go red I’m going to have to rub Savlon on them before we go to bed 🎶 😂 & I can’t leave out Baron’s Night club with owner Paul Baron & Kinky John with Chris the doorman- I’m going to a river, what river you going to? I don’t know I don’t know any rivers, well just go to any river, right then I will 😂 fucking brilliant comedy gold ✌🏼💙🙏🏼👍🏼🏴
Just got recommended this after watching 😮 I had a Susan Boyle moment the guy was really good Flipping eck what a transformation I couldn’t believe me eyes 😂😂😂 ✌🏼💙🙏🏼👍🏼🏴
I remember a kid at my school copying this performance with great accuracy and it brought the house down. Teachers, parents and kids were rolling on the floor laughing. That’s the power this kind of sketch can bring. Genius.
I was there and pissed myself laughing. He looked nowt like him and then transformed into George Michael right there in front of the whole school. Was the best day of me life.
There was something about these two. They made you feel like you were just witnessing two blokes who'd been out on the Piss, having a laugh together. Like their own private jokes. Silly as @'holes...cracks me up. I shall be forever laughing at their spoofs of Slade...the camping one is my fav, has me in stitches, even now just thinking of it, so thank you for that chaps!!
When you're feeling down for whatever reason, having this in your favourites means you are but one click away from feeling a whole lot better....even George would crack a smile.
At work my Mate and I used to pass the long, boring hours of our shift by imitating Vic and Bob's catchphrases l.''You wouldn't let it Lie!" "That was my idea!" "Only joking,or am I?" etc I got hooked on these guys after watching their one-off show, "The Weekenders".
It’s the things that you notice or remember when you go back to watch it. I had never noticed until it was mentioned on a podcast that “Matthew” has a little gallows in his hair.
Imagine Bob being your mate I’d love a few pints with him the amount of hilarious stuff he’s brought over the years ! He’s also great on wilty and even the fishing programme
What a transformation, flippin' 'eck. I remember when this very first aired. I practically choked with laughter. Me and my old work pal were obsessed with them and still reminisce about all things Vic & Bob. No-one else ever understands what we are going on about when we throw in quotes.
This is only the second time I've seen this since it was broadcast and it stuck in my head forever more cos when I first saw it, I was in absolute stitches with laughter. 😁😆😅
A conversation about comedy had me revisiting this sketch. I remember literally falling off the sofa crying with laughter back in the 90s and it still has the same impact 😂
The audience in hysterics cracks me up as much as the sketch I remember I was like them the first time I saw this. I also like the fact that he comes in on his knees. I think it would have been even funnier if his flys were undone.
"What's your name and what do you do for a living, gorgeous?" "My name is Bill Decker, and I'm a murderer" I think I had an astma attack when I first saw this sketch. Peak Vic & Bob
Oh for the days of the lunacy of Reeves & Mortimer-how I miss them. When they first started out, all I remember is people saying they weren't funny, then saying, hey! They actually are really funny! So surreal! 🤣😂🤣💕
Ahh great, this reminds of that first year after the parents got a second telly for the house. Luckily the parents watced the same tv so the rest of us got to finally discover all these nineties gems
Thanks to everyone whose shown such faith in me, especially my psychiatrist at broadmoor, Dr Pat Jennings, who last Christmas gave me my biggest present ever - freedom
I laughed so hard at this when it first aired back in the mid 90s. This and the Helicopter Landing Pad have got to be Vic and Bob's 2 best pieces of work.
They broke the mould when Reeves and Mortimer showed up. Absolutely insane comedy. I love it.
It’s a mix of Monty Python and Spike Milligan surrealism with the slapstick of Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson.
"You look nowt like him" - always makes me burst out laughing for some reason
bless Bob. atrue comedy genious.
I love how pleased/proud Bill looks when Matthew tells him how he looks nowt like George
So... this, I don't know how many years later randomly appears in my head every few weeks and makes me burst out laughing at the most inappropriate times
have I said something funny?
Yep, does to me, too!
This is from 1993, so that’s currently 28 years ago!
flippin 'eck!
Absolutely brilliant 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The head going up and down takes it to another level.
This clip had me at 'I'm a murderer.'
😂
One of the greatest minutes in British comedy history.
How can something so simple be so hilarious, can’t stop watching it 😂😂, they were a different class
Quite possibly my favourite comedy sketch of all time. Can still remember watching it when first aired, dad in arm chair looking at me pissing myself laughing, shaking his head saying this it a load of crap, it’s not even funny. Which just made it funnier!
Totally agree we I stir say that bit at the end to this day Flipping eck what a transformation I couldn’t believe me eyes 😂😂😂👍🏼🏴

Probably the funniest sketch of all time.
To my delight, thanks to this I only have to hear the opening bars of Faith come on the radio and I piss myself laughing.
have you
tried ...
Vic and mortimer
afternoon delights
Love the fact he doesn't bother to sing and just does the moves, brilliant
That's the whole bloody point of it. Without it you'd have no sketch. 111 likes for stating the obvious! 🙄
@@Owlstretchingtime78 Get a life will you? Commenting on something from two years ago. Make you feel like a big boy does it?
Today, faith came on the radio whilst in the car and I burst out laughing because I could not get this out of my head.
I start doing the dance
Still one of the funniest things I have ever watched and with the way the world is going it always will be
try ...

"With the way the world is going"? What?
I remember a kid at my school copying this performance with great accuracy and it brought the house down. Teachers, parents and kids were rolling on the floor laughing. That’s the power this kind of sketch can bring. Genius.
Yeah right. I bet they thought you were a true dumbass.
You looked nowt like him
Your memory of the described incident is probably different to everyone else's.
I was there and pissed myself laughing. He looked nowt like him and then transformed into George Michael right there in front of the whole school. Was the best day of me life.
When teachers weren't woke
Everything about this is perfection... but I love the tiny door he comes out of.
Stars for his eyes, its the little things that are great here. Keep coming back to this every few years to cheer myself up
There was something about these two. They made you feel like you were just witnessing two blokes who'd been out on the Piss, having a laugh together. Like their own private jokes.

I shall be forever laughing at their spoofs of Slade...the camping one is my fav, has me in stitches, even now just thinking of it, so thank you for that chaps!!
I can't listen to faith without laughing. This still cracks me up.
I saw it fresh on TV in the 90s, spat my drink at the TV! lol , reeves and mortimer are my all time favourites. 😎
This has everything. The moves - no singing. The mask. The little pauses. The shoulder / neck movement. Crying now. Earlier I was bent double.....
When you're feeling down for whatever reason, having this in your favourites means you are but one click away from feeling a whole lot better....even George would crack a smile.
Bill decker as george michael one of the funniest things ever broadcast.
The full skit is a masterpiece. This and Noels Addicts still creases me over laughing.
This is effortlessly comedy perfection
At work my Mate and I used to pass the long, boring hours of our shift by imitating Vic and Bob's catchphrases l.''You wouldn't let it Lie!" "That was my idea!" "Only joking,or am I?" etc I got hooked on these guys after watching their one-off show, "The Weekenders".
did you rub your legs a lot as well?
Did you ever "start stopping"?
This show was absolutely bonkers and funny as hell.
Still one of finest moments of British TV..
I have to keep coming back to this. It cracks me up every time.
This has just popped up out the blue on my phone. Omg took me right back to the nineties. Had me proper belly laughing all over again 🤣
It’s the things that you notice or remember when you go back to watch it. I had never noticed until it was mentioned on a podcast that “Matthew” has a little gallows in his hair.
What a transformation! Flipping heck, couldn't believe my eyes
Comedy gold, still gets me crying with laughter.
This is fantastic. Even got Matthew Kelly's little tooth gap
This is the most Reeves and Mortimer sketch ever
Imagine Bob being your mate I’d love a few pints with him the amount of hilarious stuff he’s brought over the years ! He’s also great on wilty and even the fishing programme
I know this was made years ago but i still randomly watch it.Cracks me up every time.

Ahh yes, the bra wearing men. And Uncle Peter and Councillors Cox and Evans. Happy Times!!
Still do this haha every time I hear Faith without fail :D
someone loop this for an hour in honour of the great man
Bob is still alive and well.
Maybe he meant George
Bill Decker?
Bill Decker's victim?
The detailing on the 'Mathew Kelly' 1990s waistcoat is sublime.
What about the little gallows on his head?
Still officially the funniest thing of all time
God, I screamed laughing at this at the time. What fond memories. Absolutely absurd comedy, done to perfection.
I've seen that clip a million times and it still makes me cry laughing. Surreal, random and hilarious - but it just hits the spot. Brilliant.
Does anybody else have the urge to dance like this everytime they hear Faith?
Still one of the funniest things I ever saw, it broke me the first time.
I love how the door is too small.
Best British sketch EVER 🤩
it make me cry laughing. it's just that good!
maybe the greatest comedy sketch ever
I'm sure you won't murder this song, Bill - at least, I hope not
Thank god for UA-cam. Honestly every single time I hear about George Michael I think of this. Oh Vic & Bob, how I love you
I have been looking for this since forever.
This is only the second time I've seen this since it was broadcast and it stuck in my head forever more cos when I first saw it, I was in absolute stitches with laughter. 😁😆😅

Rest In Peace Georgie x
One of the funniest things on telly ever!

Love this, Masterchef with Lloyd Grossman and Bob's Noel Edmonds.
Bob Mortimer is definitely an genius!

it's canned laughter
You are wrong, it was filmed in front of a live audience.
"What's your name and what do you do for a living, gorgeous?"
"My name is Bill Decker, and I'm a murderer"
I think I had an astma attack when I first saw this sketch. Peak Vic & Bob
Even after all these years it’s funny as fook! 🤣🤣👍
Nailed it.
Getting them to make their grand entrance via a tiny door they have to duck under 😂
It’s still one of the funniest things ever
back in the day after smoking weed made me cry with laughter, great times
Wife just shouted from two rooms away to stop ‘whatever the frig that noise is’. I may well have developed asthma, but it was worth it.
Anyone who doesn't appreciate this should be sent down a dark alleyway in which Bill Decker is waiting for them in the course of doing his day job.
Thanks for the upload
I remember watching this at the time 😆
Brilliant ⭐️
That might be the best thing Bob has ever done which means it might be the hardest I ever laughed
Flippin' eck! What a transformation! Couldn't believe my eyes!!
When telly was worth watching. Superb 🤣🤣
Oh for the days of the lunacy of Reeves & Mortimer-how I miss them. When they first started out, all I remember is people saying they weren't funny, then saying, hey! They actually are really funny! So surreal! 🤣😂🤣💕
Ha many years ago I applied to go on stars as red hot chilli peppers under the bridge , this has given me a idea ❤
Come back Vic and Bob, make us laugh again , brill 👍

OH wish we could have comedy like these boys brought us
Whenever I hear Faith I start doing the dance!
Absolutely brilliant, simple comedy at its best.
I think Vic and Bob are trying to make me have a heart attack.
Bill Decker's jerky neck and body movements had me in stitches before he even opened his mouth. Years later, it still never fails to make me laugh.
A milestone tv moment of my life, it really is. So funny.
I forgot about this! So good lol
TOTALLY INSPIRED!
I LOVE THIS CLIP!!!
RIP George.
Remember this going out live 😂😂 laughed so hard 😂🤣
Thanks to everyone whose shown such faith in me, especially my psychiatrist at broadmoor, Dr Pat Jennings, who last Christmas gave me my biggest present ever - freedom
Even my sister was in tears of laughter when she saw "George Micheal" And she isn't a Reeves & Mortimer fan, but laugh, she did.
Best comedy duo!
Proper comedy - love it.
Algorithms!!!
Not seen this idiocy in years.. they broke the mold as they made Bob!!
Ha ha ha! I forgot about this, brilliant.
One of the funniest moments in British comedy.
Holy shit...I just realised that I dance like that when I hear George Michael because of this clip.
Genius and causes me to snlaff which is snort laugh.
My fav R&M sketch!
I laughed so hard at this when it first aired back in the mid 90s. This and the Helicopter Landing Pad have got to be Vic and Bob's 2 best pieces of work.
