I too just purchased an 8-quart Gourmia from Costco. Today I came upon your so clear and soothingly explained demonstration of how to use it. Great Job. Thank you. ❤
Our old air fryer quit last night, I don’t remember the brand but we only used it for wings. Just got the one your setting up and will use it more for other items
I'm about to purchase this air fryer and I really appreciate this video. This will be my first air fryer so I'm a little disappointed that I have to use any oil at all, but not deterred.
the silver crisper tray gives more airflow around the food. while the other acts as a base which you still can place food on there. best to use also paper airfryer liners
Dear Sir, Following your instructions I cooked some chips in my new air-fyrer (45 punds from costco btw, bargain). As I was cooking exactly 20 chips, I pressed the chip button 20 times. Four hours later and the chips are still not done and my kitchen smells of burnt plastic. You mentioned that there would be a burnt plastic smell at first. Is this normal? My fire alarm doesn't think so. Thanks -Concerned Viewer
yes there will be plastic smell at first use but dont put any food in there. i normally cook fries in there and use maccains fries which i found easy to cook and the right taste, make sure to spray oil too
I place the food inside and hit start, it preheats and beeps. If you ignore the beep that says "insert food" it will just continue to part 1 of cooking. Likewise, if you ignore beep two to "turn food" it will finish cooking regardless of you not opening it at all.
If you read the instructions it says its OK to spray cooking oil onto the food to make it crispier, but to NOT use cooking spray. So as it says in the picture, spraying oil from a bottle is fine, but to not use an aerosol spray.

I just brought this same air fryer yesterday from Walmart black friday special. Thanks for this info.
$49.00 at Walmart. I bought one also. I have waiting almost a year for Walmart to restock these items.
i am eagerly waiting for the delivery of my air fryer from Costco. Videos like this one are very helpful. Thank you.
Did you remove the silicone tips on the sides of the multi purpose rack?
No leave on
Just bought it. Wow it can a lot. I appreciate the video particularly setting it up for its first use!
It "can a lot" what?
Lmfao!!!! I’m watching before I buy.. I’m here at Costco now😂
very clear instructions. This is great for a newbie like me

Should That 4 silicone or plastic stands on the tray be removed to avoid plastic burning smell?
There are 4 rubber foot on the drip tray, they shouldn't be removed
Thanks for this video, it really helped.

@@Moneystayswithme you really don't have to use oil, see how u get along, cnt go wrong with this one
Thank you so much that really helped!
How did you open new airfrier, and attached the handle? mine doesn't have an attached handle
should have a handle like in video otherwise get a replacement
Thank you. Didn't know if was digital. Almost smashed it
I have chicken cordon bleu (stuffed with cheese and ham) do i put a piece of aluminium foil to catch the oozing cheese???
The pan that goes inside, did you take out the rubber? With the rubber you kinda have to force it in there
Need slight force
Put it in at an angle, put one corner in and then the rest with a slight twist. No force at all. It's hard to explain, I hope you get it.
Thank you for the reply! It worked as you guys said it
1:03 what's that sound?

thank you - you made it so easy
You're welcome!
On sale at Costco for about $40 👍🏽
Do you always have to preheat? I’m trying to override it but can’t see how. That feature is super annoying
Yes you can skip preheat
@@ZRKREVIEWS how do you do that please? Tried clicking all the buttons even if i set the time /temp it still goes to preheating
Please write me how can use?
i am having trouble getting my crisper tray to go into the basket… do i need to force it down?
Yeah its like that need a bit of force
And slide it a little and push in
How you turn the temperature down please

It’s selling in Costco for £45.
I might get one, it has a big basket size at 6.7 litres!
It’s for 39 now.
I have not noticed that it has a pre heat warning , so sofar i was adding my food from the beginning , does it really matter?
Not really sometimes i do add the food like that with preheat on but i believe u can cancel preheat
Great video! Just been bought one as a gift. Just curious, why are there two crisper trays supplied? I guess you can only use one at a time?
the silver crisper tray gives more airflow around the food. while the other acts as a base which you still can place food on there. best to use also paper airfryer liners
@@ZRKREVIEWS Thanks - mine has two identical crisper trays with it though (plus the wire rack) - maybe not all of them come with that.

Why to use spray oil this is air fryer I don’t get it????
Do you keep the plastic on the black port on the bottom?
If ur on about the 4 rubber foots on the drip tray then they shouldn't be removed
Oh,Let me put them back on 😂 heat plus rubber I thought to take them off 🤔
I gifted myself this Air Fryer from costco for Christmas, thanks for this video 😊
Can you make tofu whole with ginger and garlic please
Really nice video. Thx a lot
which model exactly is it ?
Anyone knows how to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit?
So I had placed the chicken in and had selected bake and then start but it keep saying add food
Yes when u first start the airfryer it goes in preheat mode, you can skip that or ignore it
BPA free?
I don't think it will be heating constantly, element will be kicking on and off keeping it at 200°, So that calculated cost will be on high end.
How do you change temp
Double click
I got mine from walmart
Why is 200c the highest temp. ? I can't get it to go 350c
Around 200c is the maximum on all airfryers
I buy the Gourmia air fryer but the instructions and the recipe book was not in
they have it on their website
Love my ninja air fryer, very handy device. As per the other comment, what chicken fillet did you use? :D
normal breaded chicken fillet
My gourmia air fryer is not coming up, what could be the cause please
if its not switching on it must be faulty, check with manufacturer or the store you bought it at
i just bought the same used version i got for £25 off ebay, which just needed a bit of a clean up.. now thats a bargain and a half huh 😁
Awesome
Just got one off of FB Marketplace...barely used ...$20 😊
Mine is stuck won’t cook anymore just says turn food. Open door close door nothing happens … great for 2 months then it breaks!
Neither did I get a cook book
Hey it is making too much noise. Is it normal?
When you push buttons?
Loving it!!
What do I do with the crisper basket lol
Can you make popcorn with this?
haven't tried but im sure you can
You sir, are a master chef.
Anybody using this without the bottom, black tray b/c it's much more difficult to wash? By using just the top, clear tray that looks like a grill.
we are now using one of those oven friendly silicone basket, easy cleaner
@@ZRKREVIEWS the black tray that comes with it have rubber grommets. interesting how it doesn't burn up in there.
I just got one given to me. I know why now. Dont get one unless you like finger nail cleaning for 45 minutes. It's a trap!
One thing for sure, that chicken was very dry. What's the model number on that machine, so I can avoid it?
I overcooked it first day of using this
I am watching this video before getting it from Costco
How do I set the temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit?
I bought mine from Kohls
Mine is a eight quart
I hate the mandatory preheat. Is there a way to not have to preheat everything
I place the food inside and hit start, it preheats and beeps. If you ignore the beep that says "insert food" it will just continue to part 1 of cooking. Likewise, if you ignore beep two to "turn food" it will finish cooking regardless of you not opening it at all.
Why do you need to preheat with this air fryer? It’s the only one that does that!
Did anyone notice at 2:27 "DO NOT ADD ANY OIL AT ALL WHATSOEVER." it says it cooks by air lol and this guy just almost blew up his air fryer
If you read the instructions it says its OK to spray cooking oil onto the food to make it crispier, but to NOT use cooking spray. So as it says in the picture, spraying oil from a bottle is fine, but to not use an aerosol spray.
How to defrost fish?
