Correction: The Sibling is not The Abyssal Queen, but the Princess. She was never stated to be the queen and is heavily implied that there is someone that has a higher position than her as she's only the "princess".

Just a thought, after the abyss sibling finished their journey, they were stripped/stolen of their elemental powers which ‘killed’ them making them lose their rights as a descender and tied them to tyvat. This whole notion of going to war with the thrones, is the gain back their right as a descender to allow them to leave tyvat.

  • @flikersprigs5641

The third descender is probably the sinner, we see it as this chained crystal as if his consciousness has been imprisoned inside something which begs the question: where is its body?

  • @th3hom3slic32

In regards to Nibelung being the 3rd descender, there are texts saying he left the planet to gain the power to defeat the primordial one. Since the travelers are canonically twins, either 1 of them got "converted" to a teyvatian or one got "disowned" from being a teyvatian, but either way it show it is possible to change the status. This, of course, assumes the sibling we meet is the original one, but if they are, this would allow nibelung to become a descender, even if he was originally from teyvat.

i think the timeloop theory might be supported by the finale of the narzissenkreuz quest, or at least the tower where it took place. there were a lot of papers and books laying around suggesting that was the case

  • @DetoreVolfir

The first thought i had was that just maybe our sibling died and the theory about albedo being just an attempt to clone our sibling might be true and they succeeded in the end resulting in the abyss twin being created. The reason for this theory is if all decenders had the ability to be compatible with all elements together with enhance their capabilities and assuming that the first descender is the primordial one wouldnt they have also attempted to take the power of the second descender as well, so why only the third maybe because they alone had this power and the only other one was you since both of you came together to teyvat. If this is true then our sibling just suddenly start being recorded in khanreah make sense since she was first created their maybe even her memories got cloned.

  • @Sakuyamon

Dude, Archons are not exempt from memory manipulation because they are from Teyvat. The siblings are exempt because they are not from Teyvat. Thats why the Traveler remember what happened to Rukka and Scara.

  • @AloyImpact

I thought the traveler was confirmed as the 4th descender, she says that herself to Neuvilette

  • @Breebaguette

I really enjoy your videos, they are very informative and go into multiple theories which I love. Thank you for posting 😀

  • @tatiannahazel9031

As nahida stated the traveler is the 4th December but our sibling isn't any longer and we aren't a resident of to that but our sibling now is for some reason

what if king irmin became irminsul? irminsul ,irmin ,similar

  • @alexanderericson8628

Ashikais lore channel proposed that Irmin and Nibelung is the same person. Now we know Neuvilette was cursed to walk on earth as a human, and his memories taken. But Irmin could have been similar to Neuvilette and woken up as Nibelung it fits the story that they did not believe the Gods and defied them to the very end. In Genshin the powerlevel is what decides what something "is" in other words a dragon do not have to be a lizard it can be a human, with draconic powers this is what Neuvilette eludes to at the end. After Nibelung came back from obtaining forbidden knowledge he became the "Sinner". See he calls himself creature and not a human this is vital, it means he does not see himself as a god OR a human. The clues are in the text, and the words Hoyo uses matters.

According to the research notes of rene from the narsizzenkruz ordo (not sure on spelling), not all beings from beyond teyvat can be descenders, only those whose will can rival an entire world can be called as such. So there can can be many beings like the all-devouring narwhal or the abyss sibling who are not from teyvat but cant be called descenders

  • @LeviathanGrace

Maybe the sibling you play as is the clone. It'd make sense that you start with no elemental powers and are trying to "regain" them. Why would being asleep for 500 years strip your powers unless they were forcibly stolen? The twin you play could also have memories of the past if history was changed through Irminsul. It would also kinda explain why your twin doesnt have much of a reaction after seeing u for the first time in 500 years. If you're already dead, and theyre already avenging you, seeing a clone that's out of the loop wouldn't be much of a heartfelt reunion.

  • @laineysays

I am guessing the same that the abyss sibling may be the 3rd descender. And it was intentional that Neuvillette asked if traveller possesses the same abilities, and how paimon was so scared of comparing traveler to the dead descender. Btw, was there ever a clear mention in the game or any writing that says sibling arrived 500 years before traveler?

  • @Azzywrld224

They are probably saying the dragon king because maybe- JUST maybe; after leaving teyvat, he may have been gone for so long the tree erased his data because they rendered it useless/inactive. Like how a device tells you about your least active apps when you need to “clear up some space.” I couldn’t think of any other reason they would pick the dragon..

  • @davidross4697

Lumine is the whole point of our journey after all would make sense it would be someone important at least

I thought there was a time gap between the twins fighting the primordial one and the main character's sibling appearing in Teyvat around the time of Khenria's fall, in the same way that there is a 500 year time gap between the main character's sibling appearing and the main character themselves appearing. Perhaps that original arrival in Teyvat where the siblings fought the primordial one actually was 2000 years ago?

  • @TheGKLM

Maybe at the end of their journey our sibling was changed into being from Teyvat like how Neuvilette changed the Oceanid Fontainians to full blooded humans? Maybe they stripped away their powers and what was left is recognized as from Teyvat.

  • @Melinea18

If it is possible to change facts about the world of Teyvat using the Irminsul tree, then erasing the Traveler's siblings from the Descender list should be easy for the being who messed up the Abyss prince/princess' resume. And what a powerful being that must be! I have two candidates here: 1. primodial one to protect the Traveler's siblings from Celestia's wrath and so that they can work from behind the scenes of Abyss to subvert fate 2. Heavenly Principles for more mischief (because let's not hide, the longer we see Celestia's actions the more destructive they seem to be to any beings) or to push the Traveler's siblings off the stage and prevent them from acting. It happened the other way around, but remarkably (besides the logic that otherwise there would be no game :D ) everything starts to unravel only when he arrives.
