Sometimes you just have to step back, not think, just listen and feel. Music is so glorious. When I die, I want to be reincarnated as a musical note that plays for eternity.
Jason R I agree with you sir, when you judge or put expectations you loose the feel and the journey. I guess this is the true listening experience, letting the music melt you ;) This is nothing and everything combined :) the necks the cult.
Had the exact same thought when I saw them live in Berlin in April of 2007 (seen them a few times by now). Felt like the ocean. Always the same, yet... not... when you focus. You notice the changes clearly if you skip ahead in the track, but not so much if it just flows "real time". Beautiful. This is my favourite track by them. Don't know how many times I have heard it. My mind and soul digs this, he-he.

I read somewhere that you can actually put the ashes of your body on a musical record ...I like the idea.
Just discovered this band a few days ago. What a journey!
This was the soundtrack to my reading The Wind-up Bird Chronicle. God only knows how many times I've repeated this track.
Rique Greenwood the thieving magpie tho

Homebush and Silverwater are places with a sharp ambience, demanding capture of some Kind. My family is from around there.
So beautiful, my favourite Necks record I think

A very engrossing piece that to my ear is strongly influenced by Iranian classical music.
With all due respect, wtf is Iranian classical music?
+X3RUBIM As it says on the tin.
If I had to hesitate a guess, I would suggest that it's the classical music of Iran. Google also suggests 'Persian classical music'.
@tetrahedron3100 can you show some examples please?? Im curious
Try pieces for persian santûr/santoor !
I want this in vinyl pls!!!live
Oh, you would have to cut it in the middle. :-/ :-) The recording IS live. Like the three other tracks in the four cd box.
I need this on CD or vinyl or both.
Part of a really nice four-cd live box. Only cd.
Mágicos :)
truly amazing and great mind expanding music... thank you
💐
Been looking for the tabs for this song, can't find them anywhere.
As in tablature? The Necks' concerts are pretty much wholly improvised.
gidouille I was being sarcastic, or ironic ;-)
Does anyone know the lyrics?
