@@philippetetu2491 I wouldn’t say influence since those dances came around during medieval times or sometimes even centuries after. However you can def see similarities with some traditional Scottish dances for example.

It’s not a competition. Folklor is different in every country and a result of centuries of our ancestors’ way of living. So of course it will change greatly depending the places. You can appreciate and display your own culture without comparing it to or putting down others.
