Hi I’m looking to upgrade my 2016 Sienna headlight bulbs and wanted to know if these leds flicker when running daytime running lights? Thanks
I have so many questions about this video, lmao. 1: At the 4:14 mark, what to do about the led ballast? The dude just awkwardly throws it in there, unsecured. Wont that get damaged? So you put LED's in the high beam as well? Do they shine as far as the halogens in that reflector? And do they still come on as DRL's?
It’s not a ballast. The ballast belongs for HID. Those are external driver. Completely different.
@@toyotabrony right, my mistake, but conceptually, they are different, but practically they are both little box thingies needed for the light to work, only led drivers are smaller and lighter.

Why Amber led for brake light? Is that change the color? Because I want to install one of them in my brake lights.

You forgot to state the headlight bulbs must have the led emitters facing to the 3 and 9 o 'clock positions. Otherwise you have a blob of light that blinds oncoming drivers. Always realign your headlights after changing bulbs. If the turn signals hyperflash (flash at a very fast rate) a resistor kit must be added , one at each turn signal.
👍 Yes, the led emitters face the 3 and 9 o 'clock positions. As for the turn signal lights, these LED turn signal bulbs are built-in load resistor, which are specially made for turn signals. Usually ,it no needs the resistor.

Yes.
It’s got a built in resistance. There’s a new version that @Lasfit made with a better decoder. No more hyperflash.

Those tiny bulbs for the interior map light and dome lights are annoying I accidentally broke one and now it’s stuck in the entrance where it connects and i can’t get it out 🤦♂️ I guess I have fat fingers 😂🤣 I can’t pull them out the way you do in the video. The tiny bulb shattered and now I can’t get the connection out

@@lasfitvehiclelife thank you for trying to help. I appreciate it but i actually fixed it 😅 I managed to get the pieces of glass from the Halogen bulb out. I replaced it with the LED bulb. They’re working perfectly now
Those tiny led bulbs that are T10 can be used in any application for T10 and T15.
That light output looks horrible on the freeway. Should of gone hid. And morimoto xb led housings. Every other led is on point tho
Nah. The LA plus lighting output is actually fantastic.
Maybe it’s because the beam pattern points it down a bit much.
But there’s nothing bad about it.
I’m running on H11 LD plus switchback low beam headlights on my 2015 lifted Scion xB. The beam pattern is on point. Switch to yellow and it gives a bit sharper cut off. Because the way the led chips are located, it’s ok the lower side of the bulb.
So LED’s are fine for H11 low beam and 9005 high beam.
