    Maximum Tow Weight Rating: 3,500 lbs
    Torklift Central manufactures and distributes the only Hidden trailer hitch for the 2011+ Toyota Sienna. This hitch is no drill and bolts onto the factory frame. Hitch is hidden behind the vehicles bumper.
    Minor trimming of plastic is required during installation of 2011-2020 Toyota Sienna EcoHitch. Minor trimming of the plastic allows the EcoHitch to fit as snugly as possible to the underside of the vehicle's bumper to maximize ground clearance and conceal the hitch as much as possible.
    *This video is intended to give a general overview of how this hitch is installed. For more specific information or details, please refer to the written instructions. You can request instructions on our website.
    *This video features a partial installation and actual appearance of this EcoHitch may vary if your vehicle is not the exact vehicle featured above.

    Thanks for the video. Just not sure why the bumper was removed to the begin with, I believe the entire installation can be done without removing the bumper.

      Hello Mago, thank you for watching the video and for commenting! We recommend removing the bumper for the Toyota Sienna EcoHitch to not only make it easier to install the hitch rather than having to work around the bumper, as well as prevent any potential damage that might occur to the bumper during installation. If you have any further questions about the install, please feel free to contact our tech support at 800-246-8132.

    May I ask how you got the bumper off? I'm trying to remove the bumper cover from my 2016 Sienna for a different reason. I don't see you using any tools to pry off on the 1/4 panel region but I can't seem to get it off around there.

      Hello Allen - thank you for the question! The bumper cover clips in place, and in most cases can be popped off by hand. Sometimes you can also use a small screwdriver or a pick type of tool, but tools will need to be used carefully so you don't scratch the bumper. Let us know if you have any additional questions we can assist you with!

      @@torklift_central Thank you so much for your reply! I actually did figure out that I needed to pull the cover towards the wheel to release it and then, you're right, the rest came off easily by hand. Your video definitely helped!

    Do you have a video for the 2021-2022 Sienna EcoHitch install? I'm ready to buy one from you, but would like to see the video first. I am also wondering if the bumper actually needs to be removed. I am getting a Woodland which will be coming with a factory Class 2 hitch, and expecting to unbolt that one and hopefully just bolt on the Eco Hitch without bumper removal. Please let me know
    thank you

      Hi Tristan! Unfortunately, we do not have a video available at the moment. But if you would like to give us a call at 800-246-8132, our tech support team would be happy to talk you through installation and provide you a copy of the install instructions to look over. Since this hitch is a Hidden design, the bumper does need to be removed to ensure that the cross tubes are fully concealed and only the receiver is visible. Hope this helps!

    I saw your store is in Kent WA and I am in WA as well. I wonder how much it would cost to have you guys install one for me on my 2011 sienna. Thanks

      Hi there Billy! For installation, it is $113 an hour plus tax and this hitch would take about 2 hours to install. If you'd like to give our shop a call at 253-854-1832, we'd be happy to talk through the details with you. -Jasmyne

    Hi guys, is any trimming of the bumper required to snug around the receiver?

    • @torklift_central
      @torklift_central  7 років тому

      Hey Erik - thanks for the question and we apologize on the delay of getting back to you! Yes, there is minor trimming of the underbody panel needed, but can't be seen just by looking at the vehicle. If you'd like to see the instructions and how much needs to be trimmed, please feel free to contact us at ecohitchsupport@torkliftcentral.com and we can send you the instructions.

      No. The bumper does not need trimming. Only a small slot in the splash penal- and it will not be seen. Just completed mine yesterday. It looks great. Only the receiver box is visible. Installation was easy. I'm so glad I choose this hitch.!

    You forgot to re-install the 4 bolts by the tailgate. ;P

      @torklift_central  5 років тому

      Hey Rob - thank you for the note. We thought the tailgate looked better without the bolts. ;) Just kidding - we reinstalled the bolts off-camera. Since we try to keep the videos short and sweet, we speed things up as well. If you're interested in learning about the full installation, please feel free to call our tech support at 800-246-8132 and they'd love to go over the install with you!

    Looks like a class 3 hitch on a class 1 frame which equals disaster!..
    You can get better tube hitches from Curt or hidden hitch that are way better than this one and you don't need to pull the whole van bumper off to install them.

      Hello Ricardo,
      Thank you for taking the time to write a comment. When it comes to hitches, we prefer to build hitches that are as aesthetically pleasing as possible. The Toyota Sienna EcoHitch is rated at the same towing weight ratings as the manufacturer’s suggested ratings to ensure you have an incredibly strong, safe and secure way to haul extra cargo and bikes with the Toyota Sienna.
      By having the option of both 1¼” and 2” receiver sizes you get your choice of what bike racks and cargo trays will work best for the receiver you choose. The Curt Class II hitch is only available in the 1¼” and hangs below the rear of the vehicle which affects ground clearance. While the Curt Class III hitch is available in the 2" receiver with a hidden design, it requires the rear bumper to be removed as well.
