Quang, I think the reason why your king crabs are always salty is because they’re seriously no good. Wherever you’re buying it from isn’t selling high quality crabs. How much did you pay? If you paid less than 25 bucks those crabs aren’t great quality. Most crabs that are cheap they brine it in extremely salty water to keep it fresh. Great quality crab they do not not. Also, cheap crab has a lot of water, hence why you’re always squeezing the excess water lol Try another place that sells them. I bet you’ll find some better king crab. Don’t mess with that place anymore.

Brother, you can try to soak your crab in regular water before you eat it. Soak them for 30 minutes, change the water. Soak another 30 in the clean water. It should get rid of the excess salt that is in the crab. Like other comments have stated, they brine the crab to preserve it...that’s the salt you are getting.
Try soaking the crab in cold water for about 30 mind then run under cold water to remove some salt , also heard if you through a potato in the water with them when you boil them it’ll soak up the salt
Those sauces look really delicious! I have never had king crab before but I really want to try it. It’s hard to get here, hopefully they’ll bring it in for Christmas

That must be wherever Canada gets their fresh crabs from because here in America the juice is everything & is a must. If you want crabs without juice here you might as well get the crabs that’s in the seafood section of the grocery store. Those crabs comes cut up in small pieces & is made to put in seafood salads & dressing.

There's a famous place in Las Vegas called "The Oyster Bar" at palace station which basically is a creamy seafood tomatato bisque with spices and some veggies. I like to season my water a little and add a half lemon and boil 5-7 mins personally I also let the seasoned water boil about 10-15 mins while I make my butter sauce (much similar to yours💋) I add corn and potatoes and right b4 my potatoes are done I add the crab 💋👌🏾
Couldn’t you eat this with baked sweet potato stripes or regular ones and dip them in the sauce too? Because there was so much left... Or do freeze it afterwards?
I find snapping the leg in half easier than scissors. Because when you snap the leg it loosens the meat inside and makes it easier to pull out a complete piece of it. But, I've only had snow crab legs. King legs have a lot of spikes so maybe thats why you dont just snap them.
You should make Thai mango curry 🍛 so I can make it at home I love it so much.. I normally get it with seafood but chicken or beef do with a side of rice noodles or white steamed rice 🤤🤤🤤

The correct reason for the saltiness is the way they prepared...They brine it in salt...Look it up on UA-cam!!! Also, boil it longer and it will take the saltiness out...

add a little vinegar or lemon to your water it will help alot. Also helps the shell to break even easier and the crab to come out whole

When you cook crab legs in salt water it keeps the meat from sticking that’s why it was salty. They probably cooked it in salt water originally buddy
