I was enjoying the video, then i realized i watched 30 minutes of a 2 hour video The way he makes his videos are very relaxing, i want more of this type of experiment
I don't care about most of those things he apologizes for anyways, but I would've liked to see middle path alchemist and bottom path farm, the latter being especially interesting with its life generation, which could've made it the most unique tower in this video. Tye actual farm segment ended up being pretty lame.
A list of suboptimal sub-paths you chose in this video, in case you wanted to do something similar in the future: 2-0-5 boomer instead of 0-2-5 (Which you also did note) 2-0-5 bomb instead of 0-2-5 (2-0-4 is better but not 2-0-5) 5-0-2 tack instead of 5-2-0 (The meteor benefits immensely from pierce and middle path is, therefore, better when the tack is unbuffed.) 5-2-0 wizard instead of 5-0-2 (I actually think this path got buffed so perhaps it wasn't the bigest problem, but archmage really needs pierce.) 2-0-5 alchemist instead of 0-2-5 (The middle path massively increases MOAB damage which doesn't usually matter for BMA, but matters in this case for the BADs.) 2-5-0 druid instead of 0-5-2 (The bottom path gives boost to attack speed which was important since you died to BADs, though, it might have lost to DDTs, so I'm honestly not sure.) In regards to the black hole ability, it was changed to a global cooldown to prevent buy-sell cheese for infinite rounds. That happened a long time ago.
To avoid having to restart everytime from stratch, I recommend installing "time machine" mod or sth like that - it allows you to come back to any round of your choosing, as long as you have beaten it.
Bloon Solver was a really bad pick. The glue doesn’t stack, so you would have had practically the same setup as just a couple Bloon Solvers covering the track. Super Glue actually does damage, so stacking it would actually do something different

also being honest, super glue would have been better then solver, Solver does great damage and detroys cerams but he has fixed damage, while super glue can consistantly damage all moabs and just stop normal bloons on their tracks
There might be a mod just for this out there somewhere, but the Mega Knowledge mod has two Monkey Knowledge points which let Mortars and Dartlings respectively automatically aim like other towers. You can just turn those two on and leave all the other extra ones off.
it's so funny how he did a pretty good job of keeping an eye out for towers that he forgot to upgrade but the AP darts sub is just chilling in the bottom left and he doesn't notice
Left/right hand on the boomerangs is there to maximize boons hit. You need to set it so it goes against the flow of bloons, this way more bloons will "pass through" the boomerangs. The faster the bloons the more noticeable it is

This is just purely speculation, but MAYBE the Ray of Doom MIGHT have worked, if you didn't have the 'Cross the streams' monkey knowledge (The one that causes plasma pools when ray of doom or plasma accelerator beams cross) I suspect that maybe, all of the calculations for where all of the plasma pools would be at, might've contributed to the lag you were dealing with. But, I could be entirely wrong, and maybe resetting your monkey knowledge and re-getting everything but that singular one monkey knowledge (or just turning monkey knowledge off, but that also takes away all of the other power monkey knowledges give you) might not help at all.
1:43:28 does give some credence to my theory. I doubt the acid pools and the plasma pools are too dissimilar, all things considered, and since all of the acid pools cause so much lag... the plasma ones probably do the same.
@@Quts_ DDTS have black property, Bomb Blitz does explosive type dmg. The DDTS were de-camo'd as you can see some Bombs that were outside of MIB range still attempt to hit it.
For mortal, middle path is ALWAYS the correct choice. No matter what mortar you build. And since the burny stuff damage buffs are locked behind tier THREE top path, you didn't get them anyways. So just faster attack speed would've been far superior. And also, since burny stuff doesn't stack, I'm pretty sure the bottom path mortar was the worst possible choice for this test. And because of the issue of staggering the shots, I wouldn't have picked top path either. Middle path shoots so fast that the staggering issue doesn't exist and generally has the best DPS among the mortars usually anyways.
Did you forget bloonineration creates a wall a fire every time it attacks? The shattering shells also removes fortified properties on all Bloons but bads (ddts aren’t effected if you don’t have monkey knowledge) also make it a good support tower, even for its price, viable in chimps
@@vadimyudkovsky9022 No I didn't forget that. But blooncineration still doesn't get more DPS than the middle path believe it or not. The sheer attack speed is just ridiculous. People more into this game than me did precise tests on it, which is where I got this opinion from. So even with the buffs, blooncineration is rarely ever the correct choice sadly, I'd like for it to be better, but unfortunately, there is pretty much never a good reason to use it unless you're on a map where mortars are REALLY good so you just wanna place all tier 5s, because in a normal game you can't spamm the same tier 5 of course. So in that scenario, like the moon landing map, I would use a blooncineration after I got the other 2 tier 5s. Although I actually believe it would just be better to spamm artillery batteries because pop and awe passively buffs the bad and boss damage of all artillery batteries, so artillery batteries end up being far more money efficient.

I think most of the time sink is due to lag making the later rounds take forever. Instant monkey might save some tedium but I don't think it will save much time.
@@alexion3007he can restart, place down the instas and then skip back to where he left off. The random rounds might be a bit of a problem but it doesn't matter that much, atleast he won't have missed any towers.
Here's a tip: using the setting that shrinks the monkeys could help with seeing if you missed upgrading any of them, as they aren't overlapping each other has badly.
to answer your question with ninjas late game, they are very good when buffed. their attack speed/pierce is quadrupled with shinobi stacking. they also only deal 1 damage per projectile, which means that buffing them is really effective. VTSG gives +4 damage among other buffs, permabrew adds +2 damage, and debuffs can amount for up to +13 (glue storm, embrittlement, super brittle, cripple moab) so take a bloonjitsu, throwing 5 shurikens at a moderate speed, and not only make its attack speed nuts through shinobi stacking/other buffs, but also multiply their damage by up to 20 times.

Amazing video! Honestly impressive the amount of time you put in, and it was cool to see the results. If this video does well enough that you decide to do it again, here's some recommendations for what tier fives to use: Glaive Dominus - would look really cool Tack Zone - might be too laggy, though Elite Sniper - when crosspathed with the top path, elite sniper has a really solid mix of damage and spread that makes it more than just a cash path. Also, each elite sniper buffs the attack speed of other snipers by 33% - if that bonus stacks, this one could be insane. Cripple Moab- splash damage could be crazy. MOAB Eliminator would be ability heavy but cool to see, since MOAB mauler spam is a semi popular strat on its own. Trade Empire - this one won't do as well, but it's another case where the towers will buff each other. The bonus is compounded if you crosspath into grapeshot. Sky Shredder would be cool but incredibly laggy, Tsar Bomba would be cool but requires micro. Comanche Commander could look really cool. Recommend pursuit to avoid headaches. Pop and Awe would require micro but buffs all artillery batteries - though I'm not sure if it will buff other tier 5s. I'm just curious how laggy Bloon Exclusion Zone would be and how well it would do. Prince of Darkness would be INSANE, the tower on its own is really solid but each one will also buff all the others. I think most of the ninja spam strats you mention are utilizing Shinobi Tactics to buff all of you Shinobi. So, Grand Saboteur would be cool to see. Total Transformation could be really cool if you can find a way to manage the micro. Avatar of Wrath would, of course, be good, but I wouldn't mind seeing Superstorm, as the tower is kind of crazy. Either of the other spactory paths would be great, top path does a ton of damage and doesn't need quite as much time to build up as bottom path, and middle path would be ability heavy but can melt moabs and bads like nothing I've ever seen. Overclock would be cool, but like, also torture for you. XXL trap would be cool but also probably lose to the BAD.

Honestly, maybe should've gone middle path ninja. Sure bloonjitsu and grandmaster ninja is strong and all, but you're missing out on the power of all them shinobi tactics. They're like the druids of wrath, the more you have, the stronger they are. And considering you have a whole map full of them... Honestly, 20+ shinobi tactics surrounding a cluster of grandmasters probably would do WAY better than either path on its own. But this isn't the video for mixing different paths. Though, if you ever do such a video, this would be the second thing to look forward to. (The first being the moab doms on the outside, with glaive lords in the middle of the loops, mentioned at 13:01)
...or having a bunch of perma-brewed Total transformation alchemists shredding the B.A.D., while some B.M.A.s turn anything that comes out of the B.A.D.s into red bloons.
I don't if I agree with your sniper or sub upgrade paths. The problem with the bottom path on both of them is the DPS is much lower despite the higher attack speed. For snipers, the stun + increased damage rips through the bigger bloons. For the subs the missiles fire in addition to their regular shot so they get an extra shot at much higher damage and you get their ability so if you just used that ability as fast as you could it would take out a LOT of big stuff.
one tack shooter remained a 302 in the bottom left corner behind the mib... a moment of silence 😢 jokes aside though this is amazing and way too interesting for how simple it seems, great presentation
41:12 i think the best targeting option for military monkeys is the Last target, it shoots 10% faster or something like that idk if it could past this round though
32:05 once again. The rounds are only random for each new game load in. Meaning if you restart the game and don’t back out the rounds will be the exact same every single time. Hope this helps for future videos. Edit: For further clarification: If you only “restarted” each run, the rounds 1-100,000,000,000, will all be the exact same. Meaning round 204 of the next tower from this point would’ve also had the same Bloon sends.
2:06:38 you can actually fit five spike factory's into both squares, you have carefully construct an X with them, put one at the edge of each corner, then there should be room for one in the center, it would also be better if they were all set to smart targeting, because then you'd have multiple piles doing huge damage instead of many piles doing a little
to help with the lag too, you could turn the effects lower in the settings tab. it makes the projectiles appear smaller, and some of them invisible, which might make it more difficult to target some (like ray of doom) but I find it very worth it for longer runs, or set ups with alot of projectiles (especially like for bosses and stuff).
Fun fact on the boomerang! The middle crosspath attacks faster (more single target dps), but bottom crosspath has a lot more pierce and _deals 50% more knockback_ I always go top crosspath for my aussie boomers. It's so satisfying.
I think middle path sub would've probably done more damage, sub commander gives a 2x damage and pierce buff to every sub in its radius (every sub on screen with the monkey knowledge) so its the same as having 1 sub commander and a tier 4 army while middle path not only has the ballistic missiles for group damage but also has an ability that does huge splash and single target damage. To top it all off multiple preemptive strikes would have destroyed everything up to non-fortified BADS. A big thing to note is that ceramic bloons past round 80 will always have the same health no matter what round you're on. only moab health scales with rounds
I am curious if the 205 glue gunner would go significantly further, because it can hit the same bloon multiple times and has impact damage. Perhaps a follow up video where debatable cross paths get visited? For example the 502 sniper,

You could always do future videos hitting a second and third Tier 0-0 to Tier 2-5. After that, you could do a bonus fourth video with a mix of every Tier 2-5 scattered across the map, like a rainbow. Tier 5-2-0, Tier 5-0-2, Tier 2-5-0, Tier 2-0-5, Tier 0-5-2 Tier 0-2-5. See if a scattered mix of all six can beat your favorite three combos' best scores.

waitttt changing the boomerang hand does make a huge difference! its only cause your map is full with them that you cant tell! early maps the need is not there, but later maps you are more limited on spots, and certain angles will 'kill' the boomerang early into the throw. but a hand switch can avoid pillars or get around walls and keep more valuable spots open for harder hitters. or straight lane shooters.
Have you considered getting an infinite range village mod? Alternatively having someone mod something that lets you place a bunch of towers down would be nice. Or save ‘presets’ of your placements. That would be cool haha. I just feel bad that you have to do all that by hand. But just like the hand carving of a woodworker, the knowledge of the work behind such a craft makes the piece that much sweeter.

Left/right hand on the boomerangs is there to maximize boons hit. You need to set it so it goes against the flow of bloons, this way more bloons will "pass through" the boomerangs. The faster the bloons the more noticeable it is

This is just purely speculation, but MAYBE the Ray of Doom MIGHT have worked, if you didn't have the 'Cross the streams' monkey knowledge (The one that causes plasma pools when ray of doom or plasma accelerator beams cross)
I suspect that maybe, all of the calculations for where all of the plasma pools would be at, might've contributed to the lag you were dealing with.
But, I could be entirely wrong, and maybe resetting your monkey knowledge and re-getting everything but that singular one monkey knowledge (or just turning monkey knowledge off, but that also takes away all of the other power monkey knowledges give you) might not help at all.
1:43:28 does give some credence to my theory. I doubt the acid pools and the plasma pools are too dissimilar, all things considered, and since all of the acid pools cause so much lag... the plasma ones probably do the same.

The reason why the DDTS were getting so far with the Bomb waa because the Bomb Blitz can't pop blacks meaning only the ones in MIB range can hit it

For mortal, middle path is ALWAYS the correct choice. No matter what mortar you build.
And since the burny stuff damage buffs are locked behind tier THREE top path, you didn't get them anyways. So just faster attack speed would've been far superior.
And also, since burny stuff doesn't stack, I'm pretty sure the bottom path mortar was the worst possible choice for this test.
And because of the issue of staggering the shots, I wouldn't have picked top path either.
Middle path shoots so fast that the staggering issue doesn't exist and generally has the best DPS among the mortars usually anyways.

The shattering shells also removes fortified properties on all Bloons but bads (ddts aren’t effected if you don’t have monkey knowledge) also make it a good support tower, even for its price, viable in chimps

No I didn't forget that. But blooncineration still doesn't get more DPS than the middle path believe it or not. The sheer attack speed is just ridiculous.
People more into this game than me did precise tests on it, which is where I got this opinion from.
So even with the buffs, blooncineration is rarely ever the correct choice sadly, I'd like for it to be better, but unfortunately, there is pretty much never a good reason to use it unless you're on a map where mortars are REALLY good so you just wanna place all tier 5s, because in a normal game you can't spamm the same tier 5 of course.
So in that scenario, like the moon landing map, I would use a blooncineration after I got the other 2 tier 5s.
Although I actually believe it would just be better to spamm artillery batteries because pop and awe passively buffs the bad and boss damage of all artillery batteries, so artillery batteries end up being far more money efficient.

btw, consider using some sort of Instant monkey mod, where it just gives you loads of every instant monkey in the game, so you dont have to manually upgrade them as much, itll probably save time

I loved listening to you say you need to pay attention more during the sniper monkeys while I was staring at the unupgraded ones.
Here's a tip: using the setting that shrinks the monkeys could help with seeing if you missed upgrading any of them, as they aren't overlapping each other has badly.
to answer your question with ninjas late game, they are very good when buffed. their attack speed/pierce is quadrupled with shinobi stacking.
they also only deal 1 damage per projectile, which means that buffing them is really effective. VTSG gives +4 damage among other buffs, permabrew adds +2 damage, and debuffs can amount for up to +13 (glue storm, embrittlement, super brittle, cripple moab)
so take a bloonjitsu, throwing 5 shurikens at a moderate speed, and not only make its attack speed nuts through shinobi stacking/other buffs, but also multiply their damage by up to 20 times.

Amazing video! Honestly impressive the amount of time you put in, and it was cool to see the results. If this video does well enough that you decide to do it again, here's some recommendations for what tier fives to use:
Glaive Dominus - would look really cool
Tack Zone - might be too laggy, though
Elite Sniper - when crosspathed with the top path, elite sniper has a really solid mix of damage and spread that makes it more than just a cash path. Also, each elite sniper buffs the attack speed of other snipers by 33% - if that bonus stacks, this one could be insane.
Cripple Moab- splash damage could be crazy.
MOAB Eliminator would be ability heavy but cool to see, since MOAB mauler spam is a semi popular strat on its own.
Trade Empire - this one won't do as well, but it's another case where the towers will buff each other. The bonus is compounded if you crosspath into grapeshot.
Sky Shredder would be cool but incredibly laggy, Tsar Bomba would be cool but requires micro.
Comanche Commander could look really cool. Recommend pursuit to avoid headaches.
Pop and Awe would require micro but buffs all artillery batteries - though I'm not sure if it will buff other tier 5s.
I'm just curious how laggy Bloon Exclusion Zone would be and how well it would do.
Prince of Darkness would be INSANE, the tower on its own is really solid but each one will also buff all the others.
I think most of the ninja spam strats you mention are utilizing Shinobi Tactics to buff all of you Shinobi. So, Grand Saboteur would be cool to see.
Total Transformation could be really cool if you can find a way to manage the micro.
Avatar of Wrath would, of course, be good, but I wouldn't mind seeing Superstorm, as the tower is kind of crazy.
Either of the other spactory paths would be great, top path does a ton of damage and doesn't need quite as much time to build up as bottom path, and middle path would be ability heavy but can melt moabs and bads like nothing I've ever seen.
Overclock would be cool, but like, also torture for you. XXL trap would be cool but also probably lose to the BAD.

Honestly, maybe should've gone middle path ninja. Sure bloonjitsu and grandmaster ninja is strong and all, but you're missing out on the power of all them shinobi tactics. They're like the druids of wrath, the more you have, the stronger they are. And considering you have a whole map full of them...
Honestly, 20+ shinobi tactics surrounding a cluster of grandmasters probably would do WAY better than either path on its own. But this isn't the video for mixing different paths.
Though, if you ever do such a video, this would be the second thing to look forward to. (The first being the moab doms on the outside, with glaive lords in the middle of the loops, mentioned at 13:01)
...or having a bunch of perma-brewed Total transformation alchemists shredding the B.A.D., while some B.M.A.s turn anything that comes out of the B.A.D.s into red bloons.
...or maybe the village? Those top path villages were powerful on their own, so how would they fare with constant homeland defense buffs?

I don't if I agree with your sniper or sub upgrade paths. The problem with the bottom path on both of them is the DPS is much lower despite the higher attack speed. For snipers, the stun + increased damage rips through the bigger bloons. For the subs the missiles fire in addition to their regular shot so they get an extra shot at much higher damage and you get their ability so if you just used that ability as fast as you could it would take out a LOT of big stuff.

2:06:38 you can actually fit five spike factory's into both squares, you have carefully construct an X with them, put one at the edge of each corner, then there should be room for one in the center, it would also be better if they were all set to smart targeting, because then you'd have multiple piles doing huge damage instead of many piles doing a little
to help with the lag too, you could turn the effects lower in the settings tab. it makes the projectiles appear smaller, and some of them invisible, which might make it more difficult to target some (like ray of doom) but I find it very worth it for longer runs, or set ups with alot of projectiles (especially like for bosses and stuff).

The middle crosspath attacks faster (more single target dps),
but bottom crosspath has a lot more pierce and _deals 50% more knockback_
I always go top crosspath for my aussie boomers. It's so satisfying.
I think middle path sub would've probably done more damage, sub commander gives a 2x damage and pierce buff to every sub in its radius (every sub on screen with the monkey knowledge) so its the same as having 1 sub commander and a tier 4 army while middle path not only has the ballistic missiles for group damage but also has an ability that does huge splash and single target damage. To top it all off multiple preemptive strikes would have destroyed everything up to non-fortified BADS. A big thing to note is that ceramic bloons past round 80 will always have the same health no matter what round you're on. only moab health scales with rounds

Im assiming the reason the ddts got so far is because recursive cluster does a lot of aoe damage, but not a lot of single target damage.
You could always do future videos hitting a second and third Tier 0-0 to Tier 2-5. After that, you could do a bonus fourth video with a mix of every Tier 2-5 scattered across the map, like a rainbow.
Tier 5-2-0, Tier 5-0-2, Tier 2-5-0, Tier 2-0-5, Tier 0-5-2 Tier 0-2-5.
See if a scattered mix of all six can beat your favorite three combos' best scores.

waitttt changing the boomerang hand does make a huge difference! its only cause your map is full with them that you cant tell! early maps the need is not there, but later maps you are more limited on spots, and certain angles will 'kill' the boomerang early into the throw. but a hand switch can avoid pillars or get around walls and keep more valuable spots open for harder hitters. or straight lane shooters.
Have you considered getting an infinite range village mod? Alternatively having someone mod something that lets you place a bunch of towers down would be nice. Or save ‘presets’ of your placements. That would be cool haha. I just feel bad that you have to do all that by hand. But just like the hand carving of a woodworker, the knowledge of the work behind such a craft makes the piece that much sweeter.
