yeah the mr Dilkington part is hilarious, it's the fact that he wrote about it in his diary, and that dilkington sounds hilarious, plus ricky's reaction to it, but the funniest part is how the letter says he's one of their most valued customers. lmfao
It was the last episode of the show where you talked about toilets on trains. It was when Karl talked about the blind guy needing to go. We do have toilets on trains here in the UK. It’s generally just one room with a curved sliding door that sometimes locks and sometimes just randomly opens
It depends on the train model. Older trains have a normal door while more modern trains have a larger sliding door to allow better access for disabled people. Some longer trains have both types. The random opening only happens when there is a fault.
I think some of the very short train lines dont have toilets. London Victoria to East Grinstead doesnt seem to. Though its only 50minutes Though Truro to Falmouth does have one and thats only a 30minute line.

By the way £500 is called a monkey because British soldiers in colonial India called the 500 Rupee note a monkey because it had a picture of a monkey on it. When they came home they continued the tradition by calling £500 a monkey (although it was and is a hell of a lot more money!). Karl used to be emailed most of these stories by listeners, and believes it as gospel truth of course, because it's "typed up and that". Anything that is typed must be truth to Karl, bless him. Sometimes when Stephen demands some kind of substantive proof of the story, you can hear a rustle of paper as Karl hands over the email he printed out. 🤣

Don't worry Mandy as you keep watching The RG show you'll see Karl contradicts himself. First he can remember being in nappies (like 2-4) then he can't and says "No one can remember that Young!" Even though I personally remember my first Lego set aged 4 🤣🤣🤣
Just came across a great interview with Karl on another channel that would be good for a reaction. It really gets into his head about how he got into things, how he feels about it all, his insecurities etc. It was on radio so there's no visuals. Also its about 40 min with a break in the middle where the 2 interviewers do a little 'looking back on the interview' chat after he left, so it would probably suit being in 2 parts? The Wewe thing is correct. Its a creature from folktales in Indonesia. those Chinese trips home on the train take 3 or 4 days rather than hours and the diapers aren't a new thing, just a feature of the run up to 'family' holidays.

It turned out there were few bathrooms and after a day they were backed up and flooding everywhere. Causing people to eliminate themselves while waiting in line for the trains.
