@Mausi X because it takes longer to master and great dedication people tend to think it is superior to what it is a contrast to "4 chord songs". But who are we to judge, right?
This work, especially the last 2 minutes outlining those chord shifts and changes to make it easier for the listener to understand, is truly one of Geru's greatest achievements I think.
This is one of my favourite violin concertos by Vivaldi! I've only heard one recording (the one by Il Giardino Armonico) that actually incorporated Bach's solos into their performance of this piece.

UTMOST RESPECT FOR GERUBACH 🎉🎉🎉 this is genuine real fair effective MUSICAL EDUCATION 😮😮 to fully inform the Listeners on the Genesis of a Masterpiece : the original Concerto by Vivaldi , and the wonderful Arrangement/Transcription by Bach ❤❤ GREAT WORK as always , dear GERUBACH 💎💥💎
My Orchestra arrangement of this piece, as “Sinfonia in C major”: Woodwinds: 2 Oboes Brass: 3 Natural Trumpets in C Percussion: 2 Timpani in C and G Strings: Violins 1 and 2 Violas (Solo) Continuo (Cellos, Basses, Harpsichord and Bassoon)
Bach seems to have changed the rhythm slightly, but I’m not sure why. I suspect he wanted to make it slightly easier to play-Vivaldi’s version is extremely virtuosic and has the tempo marking of “Grave recitativo”, so there’s a lot of rubato implied. I really like Enrico Onofri’s interpretation on the violin.
I am not musically trained and seeing seeing how the organist runs throuh 3 seperate complex lines simultaneously seems absolutely super human.

@Mausi X You're so right. Everyone has a different taste in music. People like what they like.
@Mausi X Music is not merely "different" it is inferior, or it is superior.

It feels superhuman when you're doing it...Playing the organ makes you feel powerful...
It just takes years of work...

Truly one of the best of Bach’s Vivaldi transcriptions imo!
The conclusion to that solo, my god! Such intense speed! Your presentation of the outlined chords below the score was incredibly helpful, Gerubach.
Wonderful upload ! Really makes you understand the technicity of the piece ! I was glued to the video from start to end !
Vivaldi foi tão genial que até Bach se viu na necessidade de traduzir para órgão as obras do mestre italiano

Probably one of my favorites so far.
Wow that's a fantastic recording, the freedom and musicality really helped it make more sense to me than others.
Awesome. Makes me really want to take up organ lessons.
+Utstein Productions: You and me both, dude.....
I understand why Bach chose it! Got a chance to show his skill.
BWV 594 - Organ Concerto in C major
0:24 1st moviment.
6:54 2nd moviment.
9:22 3th moviment.
One of your best uploads!
Complimenti per l'ottimo lavoro. Bellissimi gli accordi esplicitati nel terzo movimento. Grazie

The solo would sound interesting on one of those old North German and Dutch organs of the late 1600 - early 1700s
Super! The best I've ever heard! ❤❤❤
I really Love the Part at 3:35 - 3:46 :)
Dos grandes genios del barroco, juntos!
That transition around 2:00 was super buttery
Und noch ein WUNDER !!! Tepper Michael.
Quede totalmente fascinado e impactado con este concierto de Vivaldi transcrito por el gran Bach
Wonderful!
increible
Bravo bravo bravo
Huh. I did not know this was Vivaldi transcribed by Bach. Amazing!
The solo is so insane
My Orchestra arrangement of this piece, as “Sinfonia in C major”:

Brass:
3 Natural Trumpets in C
Percussion:
2 Timpani in C and G
Strings:
Violins 1 and 2

I fvcking love the organ
Never seen so many demisemiquavers in an adagio before.
@@ultrad-rex1389 uhh, demisemiquaver = 32nd note
I invite you to look at Bach's violin sonatas from his set of 3 sonatas and partitas, if you think that was a lot.

Gerubach I wait on " Acht Kleine Präludien und Fugen ".
Zbyt proste!
Is it Vivaldi season on this channel or something? Not that I'm complaining, there's just been a lot of Vivaldi arrangements of late.
nvm
He's doing Bach's Concertos right now.
I bet Hilary Hahn could play the entire organ part. On the violin!
wow...
Why does the title page say Violin Concerto in D?
Because is a transcription of il grosso mogul by Vivaldi
Wow!
I'd love to hear it played on a Doppio Borgato Pedal Piano
would u upload bwv974 plz
Sheets?
.. so so , make me know , Vivaldi is the real engine behind them all ? ? ? :D D :D thank you sir .
It’s like grosso mogul
Dio mio com'e complicato - ma bello
Shazam lied to me, yet again. Thank you for nothing Shazam.
Explain
Shazam is a song identification app, so I'm pretty sure that it didn't recognize the song well or something
Bach/Vivaldi pieces are the best, next to Liszt/Schubert
I can't quite put my finger into it but there's something non-Bachlike in this piece.
That's because it was written by Vivaldi and rearranged by Bach
Both wonderful composers
probably the constant repetition - very Vivaldi, not very Bach
I though the opening was very Händellian. 0:35 reminds me of Hallelujah a little bit.
It is right-in-your-face non-Bachlike!
I feel like this comment was a joke
... not a fan of unrestrained rubato in quick baroque mvts, especially at the beginning of a measure.
The only thing not sublime about this is the bass at 5:26
The organ concerti are not among my favorites. Thanks for sharing.
Perfect playing BUT TOO FAST
NO WAY TO ENJOY
LET THE PLEASURE LAST
WHAT A CHARABIA 😞
Wait too fast seriously ? For me it’s a great tempo
Yes, it is fast but the performance is not up to the std. of Michel Chapuis which is normally used as the performer here.
These concerti are probably my least favorite of his organ music.
jesus christ the third movement
