Her mind hasn't fully matured. Sesshoumaru did raise rin. He always looked out for her and even put himself in dangerous situations to save her and brought her back to life several times. He even went to his own mom for help and looked very concern for rin and waited for her to wake up. He even gave her a choice to follow him or go back to humans. Over time he changes his expression to have looks of concern for her. He wont bring himself to call her daughter but he did the actions of a concerned father. If that ain't stepfather looking out for his stepdaughter than I don't know what is then... he did a lot for rin like a father would. I am from the old inuyasha days where sesshoumaru was mysterious and you couldn't tell what he was thinking. Now he has become pedomaru and is screwing his own child. It's like a slap in the face for fangirls of the show to see this new sesshoumaru. He is now pedomaru to me. And I am also not interested in seeing little children on an adventure.
