After defeating the moth demon Gatenmaru, Inuyasha begins brutally murdering the remnants of

Sesshomaru decided that he'd rather accept Inuyasha as a half-demon than watch Inuyasha destroy himself by invoking his full demon blood.
Cause to Sesshomaru he’s making a mockery of his demon blood.

I think after Inuyasha transforms after the Tessaiga breaks that’s when he lets go of obsessing over the Tessaiga. The Tessaiga was bequeathed to Inuyasha Bc the demon blood is strong , and the Tessaiga keeps his demon blood in check .

It’s nostalgic inuyasha beat Sesshomaru while in demon form with the tessaiga now Sesshomaru does the same.

I'd say it's thanks to Rin, Sesshomaru isn't as heartless as before.
Sesshomaru finally learns why his father left Tessaiga to Inuyasha from Bokusen - O. He could let go of his desire to possess it. That is why he didn't kill Inuyasha here. He also gave him the chance to decide who he would become too. Sesshomaru probably would have killed Inuyasha if he didn't choose to master Tessaiga.

Itachi wouldn't need MS for anything below the 8 tails. Itachi embarrassed Orochimaru who was laughing while Naruto was in 4 tails, and Orochimaru wanted NOTHING to do with Itachi, so unless we mean 8 tails Naruto, Itachi won't even need Amaterasu or Susanoo
Considering Sesshomaru could have killed him instantly and then gone back to the demon den for some Heineken, but didn't, I think that speaks volumes about his moral character. According to Jordan Peterson, being able to be a monster but knowing how to control it and not performing monstrous acts makes you virtuous. Being unable to become a monster absolutely makes you the victim of anyone who is, and makes you helpless.

I always felt inuyasha could learn to control his fd change if he weren't so emotional. It it was more of a cold anger like seshomaru has. I also wanted to see this power utilized instead of denied, it's still part of him.
But that's the thing, the full power of his Demonic Energy explicitly isn't controllable. Each time he transforms, it eats away at his soul, making him less restrained and making it harder for him to change back. Compare the first time he did it where he was still in a well enough mental state to think, reflect on his feelings, warn Kagome to stay away and was able to have the transformation undone by sitting him to this instance where he was barely aware of his actions and had to be sat, retrained AND have the Tetsuaiga returned to him before he changed back.
The demonic power is a defense mechanism that works too well and if he were to keep relying on it, he would have eventually become a mindless beast, unreachable by anyone. It can't be controlled or tempered outside of Inuyasha keeping hold of and mastering the Tetsuaiga so he doesn't end up in a state that he would transform in the first place. Totosai said so himself.
Unfortunately for him, it's been stated it's something he can't control mo matter what. I do like that unlike most manga/anime transformations, the cost is too high and it is better left unused.

Episode 52 "The Demon's True Nature"
Basically this episode was the height of Inuyasha's character development arc. Tetsusaiga had been broken by Goshinki nine episodes earlier, and ever since Totosai repaired it with one of Inuyasha's fangs it hadn't been the same. It got too heavy to wield properly, and Inuyasha could barely get off a regular attack, let alone a Wind Scar.
Even worse, every time Inuyasha's pure demon blood (which he inherited from Toga) took over his body, a part of his human soul would be devoured, until eventually he became a mindless fighting and killing machine. This was his third full-demon transformation on-screen and he was already slaughtering humans left and right (granted they were bandits, but they were still human).
His first transformation was against Goshinki in Ep. 43 (who could read minds and was absurdly fast for his size), shortly after Tetsusaiga was broken by said demon. He tried to read the transformed Inuyasha's mind, only to find feelings of anger and bloodlust, and well... that was it for him.
The second transformation was against Sesshomaru in Ep. 45, after the latter came into possession of Tokijin. At this point Inuyasha's full-demon transformation was enough to spook even Sesshomaru; thankfully Inuyasha didn't get a chance to act while in that state, as Totosai and Kagome helped revert him to a half-demon quickly and escaped with him in tow.
Not exactly a fair fight anyway. Inuyasha was forced to use his speed and claws while sesshomaru has an op sword

Why couldn't Kagome use "Sit" command as before on Inuyasha in this episode?
Because this is (I believe) the third time Inuyasha went full demon in the series, and each time he transforms it eats away at his human soul. He had already gotten to such a state that he was slaying humans left and right, and not feeling any remorse about it right away -- even though said humans were bandits.
Shoot, Inuyasha didn't even bother to turn toward Kagome this time when she called out to him. So it's highly likely that a "Sit" command here would only cause him to attack her, which would be the worst case scenario. It's best to let Tetsusaiga do the work.
