Excellent instructional video! Followed it to the letter and it fitted it nice and snug. And most importantly with no broken bits! Pre-facelift version is a little different with no bonnet wire removal required but mostly the same.

Great video, im buying a new grill myself and light up star, when you wired up your star which wire did you wire it up to?, is it the grey and white one for the headlights?
Hello yes its the grey and white lead, I have a another video here ua-cam.com/video/l4wbbxuhn1o/v-deo.html where I fitted the LED star and another grill I initially liked but shortly found out after you could see too much of what was behind the grill so opted for the New AMG style grill in the video you have already watched which I believe to be the best looking grill, well personally speaking..... anyway all the very best with your fitting.....mrix
@@mrix thanks very much, did you have any problems with the fuse or circuit running it through that wire afterwards?, and I'm guessing you grounded the wire under a bolt also?, sorry for all the questions this is my first time messing with car electronics and want to make sure I know what I'm doing before hand 😂

I've changed a few of these out on the W204. The problem is the gap bwtween the top of the grille and hood/bonnet when it's closed. They're all the same, they just don't fit quite right like the original.
It's a small gripe, but once you notice it (the gap) you can never un-see it... lol

Hello I purchased it from Ebay but as usual the listing I purchased it from has closed, there are many similar listings, just do a ebay search using the keywords C Class Grill Black Benz C63 AMG Style 2007 - 2013 W204 Fits C220 C250 C350 or what`s relevant to your specific model, they dont normally come with the star emblem but the standard star will fit... all the best....mrix

What do you mean by don’t fit, I’ve just got one and it’s about 8mm smaller and I’ve got a gaps which apparently is normal
@@danielabramov887They're all the same. I've swapped out a few of these on the W204 and ultimately end up putting the original grille back in. I can't stand the gap, it's one of those things that once you see it, you can't unsee it. It keeps me up at night, type thing! 😂

Hi Paul, unfortunately like a lot of listings the sellers allow them to expire and its also happened with the seller I purchased from, just go to Ebay and add a search term like AMG Style Front Radiator Grille for Mercedes C-Class Glossy Black and you will see so many identical and similar grills, its by far the best looking grill I have fitted and still have it on the car now... all the very best....mrix

Where did you get the grille and emblem
Hello I got mine from Amazon UK but like many listings that specific listing has now ended, I did purchase the silver emblem but used the black additional cover you can buy.... the listing title was called "JetStyle LED Emblem 2005-2013 , Front Car Grill Badge, Auto Illuminated Logo, Glowing Star Lights, White DRL Daytime Running Lights - Drive Brighter"

Hello yes its exactly the same with all these grills, you could add a LED lighted start to the original grill if you wished..... mrix

That`s a shame, maybe you could adapt it to fit ? the overall size should roughly be the same ? if I was you I would use something simply like gorilla glue to secure it in.... just add a few tacks of glue in-case you wish to remove it at a later date, unless your sending it back for one that will click in.
