firstly I wanted to apologies for the excessive use of the word actually .... I'm still getting use to making videos ... i will try much harder in future not to do so......for the rolling of windows up and down u hold the unlock button to roll Windows down and lock to roll them up...alot of these so called features can be found in your owners manual... so be sure to read it..however some are hidden features/secrets....enjoy!!
You never know the quirks you have until you have to edit a video of yourself. Relax and have a bit more fun with it and it will DEFINITELY come through.

You could also get rid of the stupid cartoon stickers
No one mentioned Brake Hold? Come to a full stop and then slightly lift and press again. A "HOLD" message will show up on the speedometer and you can then press the accelerator to pull away smoothly. No more numb foot at lights!
hey mate hows it going and welcome I believe it's in part 2 ..I made another video showing more features feel free to check it out...and that only appears for the facelift 2011 models and onwards for the pre face it's just does it ....

i did mention this ..its called hillassist ..hence why wen u step on the brake ..it HOLDS for a split second ..then let's go... on facelift models it will display HOLD ..ON PREFACE it simply holds. its designed for hills so u don't roll back and accidentally hit the car behind u
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ I tried it and it doesn’t display a HOLD on the panel, I will have to go a hill somewhere or a driveway and try it. Small incline at a stop light, I didn’t notice any hold.

yes dear friend my mods will apply as we have pre facelift models ... but as for the options and hidden extras etc it just depends if ur car was fitted with them .... some maybe there some might not I have the amg upgrade as in add ons not real amg if u get my driftrrally hope u ca. show ur support and subscribe mate
I've had my C180 for 10 yrs, never read the manual as it is in a foreign language, just drive and go. So 120k faultless kms later I learn all this stuff, Duh. Now for part 2.Thanks for the very enlightening vid!

Hi, yoo, nice to do such video!! One Feature we could also add is Auto Volume increase - there is setting in audio system that one can select if to increase music volume with noise increse or no.. so if select yes - audio will be "adaptive" so to say.

Another great feature is that the hood to the engine compartment can be raised to a vertical position by pushing it up beyond the first resistance. Some models require you to push a release lever on one or both sides.

For whatever it's worth, I'm a radio announcer by trade, have been for 20 years, and I can tell you, nearly everyone has a "thing" when they start recording themselves. For you, it's the word "actual", but it's hardly a deal breaker The fact that you spotted it yourself and are aiming to correct it is brilliant. Very few people even realise they're doing it. Keep up the great work and thanks again for a great vid. I'm off to see if my windows will wind up and down like you made them do :)

hey buddy so for after market i would suggest the ones with led strips aswell looks reallynicebut it also depends on ur taste and what u like there are a fair few different designs out there now

Mikey, first off thank you for all your helpful videos you’ve posted on your channel. I have a question, at exactly 10:10 in your video your demonstrating a multi media interface. My question to you has to do with the black little triangular glove box latch actuator that latches your box into place. When I bought my c250 they were missing and by box has a slight drop to it when its closed. It annoys the heck at of me lol. I’ve searched everywhere for them and seems you have to order a whole new box to get those little inserts. Would you happen to know the proper name for them or where I can find them by any chance. Thanks for your help mate.

As for day time running lights I guess the reason your cluster lights came on was because it activated head light as well. Happened to my face lift w204. As long as day time running lights are switched to ON my head lights are ALWAYS on even in bright day light. It's a Japanese import I'm not sure if it's a regional software setting or simply my auto light sensor is broken.
Kevin Qian you can go to setting in the instrument cluster and turn them off. Go to “light” , then switch off.

hmmm i dont have a car with internet from factory...my car is older and i cannot access internet...but i did get a phone mirrolink installed with the help of a shop and i can mirro my phone now to internet and display whatever is on my phone onto the flip up screen...
the newer models i think 2012 onwards can use internet i think ...ther only way to use internet for older prefacelift is by upgrading car head unit or using phone mirrorlink ...but if you do that u need to upgrade a few things abit more exspensive

steering wheel just carbon fiber facelift custom wheel and paddle shifter and fo u side markers..are u sure same interior with flip up screen ? cuz usually 2011 is the facelift unless u got an early 2011 made and it's still prefaceloft with 3 spoke steering wheel and flip up screen

How did you get paddle shifters on your steering wheel? I have a 2012 sport and was wondering if you just bought a w204 wheel with paddles and swapped them out, and if not what did you do?
I bought a sw made for my model rewired already to suit my preface model... I bought it off a seller from USA.. exspwnsive but worth it ..had to have the fully custom steering wheel

Hey. I enabled auto lights but in the day Time both head and tail lights are working. At the night automaticly turning fog light function starts to work. How can i switch off tail lights but leave only headlights during the day?

As you actually said the actually was annoying but at least you didn't say "like" all the time. Other than that it was a good video and very helpful. I have a 2014 W204 C250 CDI Coupe and every time I get in I have to go through a sequence of... hand bake off...ECO off...gearshift into sport....suspension into sport....sunroof open. I wish I could preset that.

This features can find in c220 cdi 2013 SE Executive edition? Which has a manual gearbox. Because this one in the video is the AMG sport version if I'm right
Hey mate, my AMG line from 2012 imported from German, not have the feature from the mirrors, wen put the back reversing.... I have to test if my windows wen open, if not use the key close to the door wen press the key... But very nice to see this tips. Continue the cool stuff. Hugs. ;)

Is it possible to make the car default to the NAVI option inside the speedometer instead of the odometer setting? I switch to that immediately every time, and it would be a cool feature if it just defaulted that way.
ye i get what your saying..but i dont think its possible... its like the sport mode would like ot have it goto sprt mode everytime i enter the car and start it..but i have to keep selecting it

You can also adjust/set the mirror for that lowered position. I have mine set to lower maybe half way since that works better for me. Mine is a 207 but I assume they all do it?

just test for it ..if the fuse has power wen the car is off then it is a constant power source not switched

i think the facelift model 2014 can do that , however my model did not have that, it strictly only had bluetooth connectivity to answer phone calls
tbh im not too sure, i would have to be there in person to give it a go and find out how its done
but im sure it can be done as long as u have the newer facelift model with the bluetooth connectivity

Hey man nice video Ive got a 2010 Mercedes benz c300 and everytime I press on the gas all the way my traction control light turns on and it slows my car down. Do you have any idea how to fix this?
sounds like something is wrong with the sensor for traction ..I actually don't know what that might be ... sorry I couldn't be more helpful.. I would have someone take a look at it then fix it myself ..that way they can sus the issue ... but has to be someone you can trust
Its supposed to do that to keep ur tires from spinning. To fix it u can just turn it off the light will (!) stay on till u trun it off
Your means hilla ssist are active is once I stopped and released the pedal brake, the car will not move even in drive mode or unshift to neutral?
no so hill assist is when your on a hill the car will sense that your on a hill... this is when your in drive (D) and your car wont roll back .... until u accelerate ...that way eliminating the fear of rolling back into someone .... thats what i meant.... sorry i shouldve been more clear
you will get use to the feature .. to be more specific...hill assist is designed to hold your car in the same spot for a short period of time or until you accelerate.... and once u accelerate it will move forward.... this is what i was trying to say...i may have chosen the wrong words ... but u will understand once u use hillassist
Do your paddle shifters work I have a 2009 c300 and just bought a new wheel and can not get the paddles to work
my car came with paddle shifters from factory so i never had an issue .... and yes they do work ... i had paddles on my 2 spoke wheel and also on my new wheel also
Justin Brown i have an 2009 as well and i’ve been looking into paddle shifters for my steering wheel. I’m not 100% when the amg and non amg versions of the c class got paddle shifters but apparently the 2009 c63 came with them stock. You can have the software either updated or activated (not 100% which is correct) at a mercedes benz service center and then your paddle shifters should work just like the regular manual mode.

hey there friend ... so it wont sync to your samsung note 5? u have a 2012 so bluetooth connects and plays music through your audio system correct? it should be as simple as searching and adding .... have u tried clearing old recognized phones ? sometimes it can only read a certain amount of phones

Hi Mikey, I need to change my w204 m272 oil pressure switch/sender, have you had to tackle this job yet? No one has made a video on it. I'm having a hard time finding the part online to.
not just yet .. I did have to do the plugs and the oil separator
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ yeah I just did spark plugs, cam plugs and oil separator is good on mine. I need to change crank angle sensor, no big deal, the dreaded tumble flap on mine is snapped so I'm waiting on the manifold gaskets for that, fun job that will be for a $25 metal triangle with 2 gaskets. Torque converter/ Brake switch B circuit, no big deal $25. The manifold is going test my patience, not looking forward to doing that one but I guess I will do the crank angle sensor and oil pressure switch at the same time while the manifold is out as I'll have more room.
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ just pulled the intake manifold and changed the swirl flap actuator, it's actually not a hard job at all. Just lot's of sensors to unplug.

It's March 2022 and I'm just now learning a couple of interesting features in my 10 year old C300.

You have a 2011 correct? It’s pre-facelift but has some facelift items, like the LED strips and parking sensors. I own a 2010, when I get my car back from wrap shop eager to see if the headlight cleaning unit is there... but I think that’s for facelift bumpers.
actually mine is a 2010 pre face but with the amg sports package ..i believe it is one of the latest models hence why theres led strips ...the leds side markers i did myself with the help of a shop after i pulled off my front bar and wired it to my front fuse box
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ Ahh okay, I have a 2010 with Avant Guard Sports Package, but you have AMG Sport Plus. lol I’m jelly, that’s why you have items like: adjustable suspension, headlight cleaning, and parking sensors.
I have questions, I found the auto dimming function doesn’t work for my side mirror after I install the electric rear mirror(70mai). Is any solution to keep the original auto dimming function work as normal?
is that the unit that sits on top of the rear view mirror ...the auto dimming is built into the rear view mirror ...that's why if u cover it u won't have it no more .... maybe try find a device like 70mai with auto dimming ...if that's what u want... I think the sensor works off the middle rear view mirror as there is a sensor built into it and wen u cover that the auto dimming won't work for the side either

my 2010 c350 4m the Nav sometime open and sometine don't people say pull fuse 11 and 26 will do it. Yes or no sometine it work and sometime don't. My issue is that botton on the top cover. Usually you press it and the Nav open but it don't work anymore. Any idea ?
in your case you might have a broken motor, its not the fuse but the actuakl motor that opens and closes the screen ,,, if it was a fuse then it wouldnt work at all, bedcause theres intermittent faults sounds alot like the motor has malfunctioned in that case u may need to swap out the screen motor , this is just a guess
I have an 08 C300 does anyone know whee to get an android nav upgrade that will allow it to fold back into the dashboard??
Do you have the folding mirrors, I have a 2009 c300 but mine does not work or was that a additional package you had to buy
yes i do have the fold in mirrors.... so im guessing u dont have the button that allows you to fold the mirrors in on ur driver side in the centre of your mirror adjustment for both ur driver and passenger side?
@@MIKEYZVLOGZ you mean the button that has 4 arrows that you can adjust your mirror if that's what you mean, can you send me a video of what you are saying, every w204 I have seen has the folding mirrors but mine doesnt which is bs
@@kristosterkeshi6990 no..so that is the adjjusting button... and underneath it is the mirror selection...LH RH... and between those buttons should be a button that folds the mirrors in.... im not sure why u wouldnt habe fold in mirrors... but maybe it was an option on ur model or year... i wpuld habe thought it was a standard fuction...however i have seen w204s without the fold in feature .... so im guessing maybe it was an extra option
@@kristosterkeshi6990 ok so i habe found out that some models dont have the fold in mirror function... if u do have it..u would have the button im talking about or an option in your dash menu under convenience...fold in mirrors...that would be the option... if u dont then most likely ur car didnt come.fitted with the mirrors motors and woild need to be retrofitted and also activated aswell.... its a descent job

Hey BTW I tried that trick with just clicking the ignition instead of holding it to crank. The car stalled... I have a 2011 C300 with 6 speed manual. Maybe only works for automatics?
omg im jealous i wish i jad a manual... ye maybe on for automatics..what i wouldnt give for a manual ..here is australia they have gotten ris of them all just auto now..sucks abit

do you mean the rubber that runs along the tip of the bonnet ? next to the hob emblem badge ?

@@YusufPetersenCPT in the video I dont have the bonnet closed all the way as I'm always working on the car and the rubber piece u speak of doesn't actually close the gap it's just there to make a seal and maybe stop the bonnet closing so hard ... but all good I do have the seal and the bonnet does close properly ..but thanks for noticing .... also if your subbed I'm doing a random giveaway of 100aud be sure to watch the giveaway video I releases 2 videos ago to see details how to enter
