Slip some cable ties over each prong (these spread the load better than fishing line), fold upwards and slip through their anchors to form loops. Slide them to the centre of the badge. Pull all three cable loops at the same time. Job done.
Hi, if you see around 4 min 37 it was so difficult to remove the star in the end I had to use pliers and it was still difficult to remove, I guess some can be far more difficult than others, in this specific case I cannot see cable ties helping especially as it was such a struggle with pliers etc.... thanks however for the idea.....mrix
Thank you, the badge is still wearing well and I purchased it from this dealer on Ebay you has sold over 200. a little expensive for what it is at around £17 www.ebay.co.uk/itm/383584584412
In this case it obviously did not pull out easy, it was a huge struggle, you can see even pliers were struggling to pull out the individual pieces... sometimes fishing tackle may work but certainly not in this case....mrix

Is it plastic? The chrome one
Hello, the original was chrome looking as you could see but they are made from some kind of hard plastic material..... mrix
Currently same problem with mine broken star and stuck on with the 3 prongs, gonna try some thin wire if not will use the needle nose pliers
Many UA-camrs do tend to make it look so effortless but in reality etc... all the best...mrix
1. use 3M industrial cleaner spray
2. wait a few minutes
3. warm up emblem with a heat gun
Sounds like a plan... thanks mrix
Defo better ,,where did you get the badge from

This almost became a fail.
Loop the fishing string around each star point, twist tie all three together, pull out easily.
