Idk I'm 14 and I had a whole lot of bumps on my body that were really irritating. They were especially on my you know my private area. They scratched alot and I was so uncomfortable. I suffered and I went to a dermatologist with my mom and I got this ointment/cream for them... I thought it was helping but it really wasn't it instead was bleaching my skin. After months of having to go through the suffering we tried another ointment/cream and every thing was just gone after a short period of time. I felt so relieved! Oh bless his heart!! Thank you so much to this very brave man for sharing your condition with us. I’m so happy to hear he is feeling relief and able to enjoy his life! 🥰
It’s actually an extremely common treatment still today. It can be used for a wide variety of skin conditions, most commonly eczema. Most people with severe eczema can use it with great results thankfully. When my mom first started doing it for me as a kid, someone at my school reported her to social services because they were so concerned, and didn’t bother taking the time to actually educate themselves. Thankfully our doctor and dermatologist were there to clarify that it’s a very safe, highly effective treatment. Some people mistakenly use concentrated bleach which can lead to issues. But normal bleach, highly diluted, is very useful.
A bleach bath is similar to swimming in a chlorine pool! A bleach bath is probably a tad bit more concentrated, but it just sounds bad because we think of corrosion when we think of bleach.
Thanks for this comment! I was having a discussion with someone in the comment section of another video for over a month. She replied to a week old response so I reiterated what I said about bleach baths being safe and recommended by credible sources. So I guess I got here based on that comment from yesterday...
Happy you were able to get it sorted. I have a rare skin condition also and people think I am crazy that a bath with a wee cap of bleach but when you think on in people swim in chlorine pools and hot tubs.
I'm a leukemia/bone marrow cancer survivor now living with auto-immune issues. I'm 90% covered with psoriasis and how I wish for relief from this dreaded disease. It beats me up on a daily basis and pretty much has wrecked my whole life. It has been 8 years of a living hell. I've yet to meet any doctor who can help me and I've seen many.
I also suffer from psoriasis abs they only thing that’s helped me is drinking a glass of goats milk everyday sounds strange and has taken a long time but after 6 months my skin of pretty much healed can’t even believe the difference
I know it can be annoying getting unsolicited advice over the internet... but I’m wondering if any of your doctors have talked about any of the anti-TNF alpha drugs (Remicade, Stelara, etc)? I don’t know if they’re contraindicated because of your cancer, but they work by ‘shutting off’ the overreacting parts of your immune system.
Glad that bleach baths are getting more recognition. Bathing in bleach isn’t something that’s new. Some patients with eczema bathe in bleach to clean the skin of bacteria and to reduce flare ups. Bleach baths (when properly diluted) are safe and can help treat skin conditions.
I've heard my mom talking about how it was done if kids got something contagious on their skin. As long as you don't make it too strong, and don't do it frequently it seems pretty good. Hell, you can make safe drinking water using a very small amount of bleach if needed
I'm so glad you got great treatment and are feeling so much better! Thank you for being so brave to share with everyone. You have given a lot of people hope and inspiration! :D

Learned something new today. Bless this man's heart. So glad the treatments are helping him. I never would have thought of using bleach for that purpose. wow.

I was thinking the same thing about HS. I have HS and it’s so painful and debilitating. There’s times I can’t sit or even put my arms down to my sides. I often have to sleep on my back with my arms above my head. I’m stage 4 and have had this since I was 6 or 7. So roughly 16 years. This is not Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Hailey-Hailey disease though looking similar, is a completely different condition. As someone who has been struggling with eczema for years I can only imagine the pain this man must have been in. My eczema used to be severe so it would blister up, bleed, flake, and itch like crazy. Now it's not as bad these days and it would occasionally flare up on my hands but not as bad for sure. I'm glad he was able to find something that worked.
@@jacquesw3086 I've got it in my ears. Horrible itching. I've tried so many things I've lost count. Most recently, I've been using Eucerin, a cream for eczema. It takes away the itch, which is a major reason eczema gets so bad, I think, because we keep scratching it and I know it spreads. If we keep from scratching, hopefully it won't spread. This product controls the itch, softens the skin, makes a barrier and uses colloidal oatmeal. It does have chemicals in it, but I found it because I was on an eczema site and one of the commenters said he found amazing relief with it. So I ordered it. Another very good product is Bee Magic. It is totally natural, helps the itching and controls any bacteria. An experiment I'm doing is with flax oil and linen fabric, which, due to it's high vibration is known to cure conditions of the skin and body. So I've gotten linen pillow cases, and a linen bottom sheet for my bed. Not cheap, but worth it. I'd been using synthetic throws for my blankets and my pillows, both, and I am not sure if this is what caused it or not. Synthetic material has a very low vibration rate, lower than our bodies, and are not good for us, so it may have affected my immune system. I'm using other products, too, but won't go into any more here. But I will say that washing the ears once or twice a day with hand soap and rinsing well, helps immensely also. I do believe there is some kind of organism involved in eczema, because when I wash my ears out with soap, the itching stops. But I read there is no organism causing it. I wonder what a very diluted bleach solution would do?

Lesson we all learned don’t stick with one doctor go to several and in some terms don’t tell them what you have let them diagnose you to see if it matches what other doctors said. Telling some doctors what you have they will get lazy and never put any motivation into curing you since other doctors already tried and did

Absolutely I did
thats why even some doctors recommend you for go to second opinion. they knew even some of them can misdiagnosed or even lazy

Bleach baths is an old school thing I assumed peoples grandmothers were just crazy for! ..amazed to see it actually has a meaningful purpose.
@@BMarie774 how much do you use or how much do you dilute it?
Bar1 It is, but in super small amounts it’s beneficial. It must be a very small amount per an entire bathtub.
A bleach bath is similar to swimming in a chlorine pool! A bleach bath is probably a tad bit more concentrated, but it just sounds bad because we think of corrosion when we think of bleach.
It's amazing, something so simple can have such an impact on someone's life
Well well well .. where has UA-cams algorithm taken me tonight...

Thanks for this comment! I was having a discussion with someone in the comment section of another video for over a month.
I’ve been doing it… my grandma taught me and I’ve given my children a bath in a cap full of bleach once a week

I've heard my mom talking about how it was done if kids got something contagious on their skin. As long as you don't make it too strong, and don't do it frequently it seems pretty good.

Yea I have psoriasis I thought that was bad but this is just a different level
How did you manage to make it get better?
Same! Mine has also improved drastically over the years. I know this guy must have been suffered more than I have
