Hi Luis. Just want to say thanks for all the Si videos you’ve made. I’m patiently awaiting my intercooler with piping. I’m going to be following your tutorial for diy. Did you unhook your battery while swapping the intercooler, and did you jack up both sides with floor jacks?
Hey man, thanks for the support 🙌 It’s always recommended to disconnect the battery, however, I don’t remember if I did or not lol. It’s probably best you jacks up both sides just to be on the safe side

I have added the intercooler, downpipe, and front pipe all with the help of your videos. I can't thank you enough. Did you have to reset your ECU after adding the mods?
No. For some reason all of my warning lights came on after adding the mods. Can't figure out why. I didn't know if it was because the system needs to relearn how to operate with the new equipment. Everything I've read says it could be a million different things. Just didn't know if you had an emissions code pop up that you may have cleared.

Nice step by step, thanks for posting! I wonder how much more lag is increased with the larger intercooler and end tank? I know prl left the hot side the same size to help with turbo spool... I’m sure some of that can be tuned out but I really enjoy boost coming in at around 1900-2000 rpm. Keep us updated and definitely awaiting that HV intake..
I actually have less lag with this set up. I went driving immediately after installing it and throttle response increased. Lol not sure how much of that is in my head but the loss in spool shouldn’t be dramatic. Thanks for the support!
