The PRL charge pipes and alt end tank for the intercooler are definitely a debate item in terms of actual value for me. Loss of OEM looks for 2% gains ...
It's a turbo, Turbochargers do not care if you have a high flowing intake or not. The factory intake is more than adequate to feed the turbo. It's not a naturally aspirated build where you have to BEG the air to get in. On a turbo air gets sucked and pumped faster than the engine can use it.
New to channel....so dumb question, this is a US spec car? Just wondering, was debating on getting one to replace my Focus ST and from my research the Canadian market cars got a full digital cluster. Just couldn’t tell watching this on my phone. Beautiful car btw.

@@rojass1318 Ok we got two responses; 1- Last we checked our governor can't even obey the law 100% (and he signs the rules). 2- Cali has a bad pollution problem, so we need these High volume intakes to help clean the air. Pick your favorite LMAO As of now we won't be testing the cobra air intake. We are focused on parts specifically made for the 11th gen. We know you can fit the cobra but most people want, simple easy direct bolt on kits without having to modify much. Maybe down the line we will turn this car into a complete custom build like our 10th gen race car...

Will you be installing the new “plus” cold air duct that recently released for the bottom of the PRL intake? Also, would the PRL intake and drop in filter have more of a difference in both power and temps if the hood were closed?
Yes, we plan to get that once it becomes available to us. The hood closed will play a factor which is why we always use Hondata FlashPro to datalog and when we do tune it for optimizing all these parts, we use data from the Dyno & real world conditions to make adjustments.
Would you recommend the prl air filter or the spoon air filter? I don’t wanna do anything to void warranty cuz I have really bad luck with cars! Ty loving all the content on the 11th gen it’s awesome to see what I’m gonna be able to do with mine eventually.

I was worried about voiding warranty on my mk8 with an intake but realistically just swap it out if you ever have a problem and they’ll never know you did an intake

Have you worked on tuning the Honda civic 1.5L turbo with CVT? Or does the CVT make it impossible?
It’s not impossible at all, but the CVT transmission is limited to a certain torque rating if your looking for longevity
Should one expect same gains with this intake in a EXL CVT? (Not expecting the same TOTAL hp/tq, just mean the relative gain)

Powermetric stage tunes are only for Hondata. You can get a custom tune from them on Ktuner.
