  • Come along with us as we hike to the top of Bear Mountain in Sedona, Arizona!
This was a challenging hike with incredible views and I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a birds eye view of Sedona. We were luckily to go on an overcast day and there was barely anyone on the trail which is always a plus!
Here is the All Trails map that we used for this hike:

I was just in Sedona and did several hikes. You mentioned Devils Bridge and the wait there. When I went, there was only one family there. When I went to walk the bridge they left and I was all alone. No waiting or anything. I was practically in shock because I heard there was always a big line there. It was amazing. My favorite place was the Birthing Cave. The view there was amazing but certainly other places had great views also. Enjoy your adventures.

You should let us know the name of your wife or girlfriend. Stairmaster works well if you are doing 3 or 4,000 ft. gains in between your hikes (that is use the Stairmaster in between those hikes or scrambles). You said 1977 ft. of elevation gain I believe.

Haha ok I'll be sure to name drop her from now on! And noted.. my gym doesn't have a stair master tho so that's my excuse for why I can't do it 🤣

@@conorkcarroll I am much older so it is more important for me to use in between hikes. I've been resisting it recently but know it is important for me to use. Just a thought for you if you start doing higher elevation gains. At your age you can get by without it for sure. You've got quite a few years to go before you might actually need it. 😃

@@conorkcarroll oh ok I didn't see it in the video. The Bear Mountain summit is rarely visited by most hikers, it's an intense 1 mile bushwhack from the point where the trail stops where most people take in the views then head back down
