Time lapse of our hot air balloon ride over the pyramids of Teotihuacan. We flew with Volare (website below) and they picked us up from where we were staying in Mexico City at 4:30am and drove us to where you take off in the hot air balloon (a little over an hour drive). After the ride they provide you breakfast (it was good!) and some live mariachi music. Afterwards we had three hours to walk ...

    I was just in Sedona and did several hikes. You mentioned Devils Bridge and the wait there. When I went, there was only one family there. When I went to walk the bridge they left and I was all alone. No waiting or anything. I was practically in shock because I heard there was always a big line there. It was amazing. My favorite place was the Birthing Cave. The view there was amazing but certainly other places had great views also. Enjoy your adventures.

    16:05 it's a huge tree lying on its side. And, this is one of its branches broken off, and its stump is sticking up in the air. It's hard to believe the size of these trees. Devils Tower is a perfect example of this truth. There are thousands of these trees all over the world. They rose several miles into the sky. But, now they are broken and petrified. Hangman 1128 is a great channel to see its truth.

    Gorgeous park and trails - It’s great that you filmed a hike in real time. Love it. Since the camera has no peripheral vision though, I was hoping you’d angle it off to the side once in a while and above you so we could see how high the rock walls were in front of you. Really gives you a good idea of how crowded the trails are- what time of day was this, so I can avoid it? 🫤

    • @conorkcarroll
      @conorkcarroll 3 місяці тому

      We started the trail I believe around 9am.. definitely the earlier you start the less crowded it will be! But depending what time of the year it is if you have to take the shuttle from the visitor center you can only leave as early as the shuttle starts running. As for elevation gain it's about 1,800ft!

    • @judyclark8653
      @judyclark8653 3 місяці тому

      @@conorkcarrollYeah, I’d be more inclined to start at dawn, but I’ll check the shuttle times - even the first one is probably crowded. So many foreign accents - wish US citizens had priority like they’re doing in, I think, Michigan with state residents. I could probably only get up to that Scott’s overlook, if that! Thanks!
