- The Ibanez gio GRG131DX is a lower price point 6 string model that packs a punch. With specs that most experienced guitar players prefer all built into a lower priced guitar. I got mine 2 weeks ago. (Red and black) absolutely love this guitar. It plays easy. I would definitely recommend this guitar for someone who wants a good guitar and is on a budget.

Don’t buy the claret guitars or the squier starter packs. This guitar is where it’s at. Awesome tone for a very cheap price and don’t forget how sick it looks!!!
I got the exact same guitar and I love it. It's my first so we will see how I like it in the future when I pick up more expensive Ibanez guitars. I agree with the string sliding through the pickups! It is so sensitive to it lol I switched to Ernie Ball Slinky Hybrids .46-.09 and same thing.
Awesome review. Just got the Red and Black myself. Ordered a set of Dimebuckers for it. I may throw some Grover tuners on it at some point.
I had a Gio and sold it for a move. Awesome looking and playing bedroom guitar

I don't only like the looks I also like the ferrules being offset on the back of the body...Very smart...It gives the strings a bit more tension in case you'd like to use lower tunings...I'm getting the black one 🙂 although...After this excellent video the white model is growing on me...

Are those tuners 10 mm holes?
My main question is, can I change the Pickups in it? Or is it solely the Infinity Rs?

Just got this guitar but the black one. Put ernie ball 9s on it and adjusted everything. Got some red invader clones and put come copper shielding in it to try to help with feedback issues I'm having. I like it but I really wanna get real invaders for it someday or even some different humbuckers, I'm not sure yet.
i just got mine, but i dont have a guitar amp so im using a bass amp, and it sounds almost like an acoustic guitar, is there anything i can do to fix this
