Looked like a lovely day and what a brilliant place to visit. My ideal place to live would be the Isle of White. So much to do there and you are never more than 20 minutes from the sea no matter where you are on the Island.. Love the painting. Just put a bid in.😊
Thanks Marek. St. Michael's Mount is a stunning gem. Long Crendon Manor in Buckinghamshire was recently offered for £7,000,000. Though it's a bit too dear, it's what I'd consider my dream place: centuries old, crumbly, misty, haunted, rose gardens and ancient oaks; so much better than some soulless penthouse in the city infested with pigeons.
Nooooo! Not pigeons. I always dread to think of the costs of the upkeep of those huge old places. You would have to open it up to the public which I suppose might defeat the whole point of having a big house and grounds away from everyone.
Well, you already know where I dream to be. And I will be again shortly. Red Funnel fares made me go though when I saw the price 👀. Unfortunately it's only for 4 nights. Gus couldn't survive without me for more than that I have Happy Memories of all things Cornwall, including St.Michael's Mount, so was nice to see your take on it. And that painting....wow. Your artwork🎨🖌 is just getting better & better. The Boatman's attire was the spitting image of Red Coat Marek. x J x
@@cdwc I see from the other comments on here that you are off to Thorness Bay for a possible walkabout. I found a gold ring on the beach there washed up by the tide whilst ''mudlarking'' last year. That was an amazing video, cool dude. I’ve always wanted to visit there and it’s better than I imagined. My dream home would be anywhere in Madeira. It’s an all round stunning place with nice weather, great food and drink and (if it’s still around) the funniest statue of all time - the one of Ronaldo (CR7) that looks like it melted in the sun
Another great video, I especially enjoyed this one as I visited St Michael's Mount many years ago but after walking across the causeway I discovered that the grounds were closed. Good to see what I missed. I would love to live in a massive tree house near a river. Ecstatic to see my mini Marek pics at the end 😊
Great video Marek, as always! I love all the old stories of how things got places! 😄 My dream place to live probably sounds quite normal to most, but its Pompey for me! It's where generations of my family are from, on both sides, and it holds lots of lovely memories for me. The forts are like old friends! 💜 Stay cool!
Great vid. Stunning scenery. To live... anywhere by the sea would do me. Cornwall would do, or I have a fondness for Anglesey, IOW... actually, if the sea was close by I could rough it anywhere.
So good to see St Michael's Mount again! Thank you My last visit there was over 20 years ago for a christening in St Michael's Mount Church with a walk across the causeway then an interestingly steep climb up to the church! (A Landrover was on hand if needed) then a boat back to Marazion. Dreamplace~West of the Isle, so i can get the Yarmouth to Lymington ferry to The New Forest & enjoy the stunning views of the Beaulieu River along the way. It's a lot easier to get to the New Forest from the Isle than where I live now!
St. Michael's Mount does indeed look like an amazing place to live. I think I visited with my folks when I was little. I feel lucky to live where I do here in Campbeltown, Kintyre. I think my idealistic place might be Herm island in the channel islands where I went for my favourite holiday when I was a young teen. Thanks for the great video.
Hey Marek, that brought back lovely memories from my trip there in the late 70s and just in time for my birthday today so thanks for a great video treat! Robin
St Michael's mount reminds me of one of the buildings from Game of thrones. I would love to visit there one day.Oh and the picture of the current owners remind me of Charles and Diana. My first glimpse of St Michael's Mount lets me know that I'm 'Nearly there' for our holidays to Sennen Cove, west of Penzance. One of my favourite places in the world (along with the Isle of Wight).

St. Michaels Mount is stunning. I went there with my Parents back in the 80's. You couldn't go in the house back then, but it was lovely to walk around the grounds. I completely agree. It sounded wonderful living in that caravan. I think it is one of the most atmospheric books. I have a fridge magnet of an illustration by Quentin Blake of Danny and his Dad by the caravan.

My dream place to live is highcliffe castle in Christchurch, Dorset. I’ve been visiting there since 1976 and have watched it slowly transform from a burnt out shell to a glorious wedding venue, and of course, there’s the ghosts!
My dream place to live is a Norwegian fjord (although many amazing options also exist in Iceland, Scotland, New Zealand, Canada, Alaska, ahd Chile). For a while I couldn't decide whether or not I wanted to live on a beach, in the mountains, or on a lake, but then I realized a fjord combines all 3 (not technically a lake but provides sufficient lake vibes)
I really needed a Cool Dudes video. The main support wall of the house I am living in is splitting apart, and while I have found a new place to live that we can afford it is far from family and friends but we will be safe and the town we are going to is nice. Anyone should google 'Prince Edward island countryside' if they're curious to see how beautiful it is.
