Superb opening music & spectacular views. I've never been to St Agnes before but I visited Botallack tin mines a few years ago. Question - I'le be different & say yes, I'd swap, but certainly not for the money & I'd devote my time to different kinds of voluntary work. (If helping people is allowed) & forget fast cars & the high life, bicycles & beautiful Countryside & Sea views for me. I really like your questions, they do make us all think!

My memory of St. Agnes is tripping over a tuft of grass and landing flat on my face twisting my ankle in the process. Would I have swapped my life at that particular point in time? Probably. The fella with the poo bag is probably going into the Guinness Book of Records for the longest Pooh holding walk ever. If ever there was a competition for Longest Pooh Holding Bag Walks he would most certainly win as most of the other contestants would just decorate trees and bushes with them (as they usually do ) Well done to him. Hope there's more of Cornwall to come Marek!... x J x

I love Cornwall. It's the only place in the World where I don't mind the wind and rain because they just add to the dramatic and tempestuous craggy nature of the coastline. Incidentally, my little brother also fell down while trying to climb the cliffs (sic) at Polly Joke beach. He was only about 6 at the time.
Would never swap. I am happy with my life, my friends and my family ❤ Walking in Cornwall also contributes to great things in my life. I have walked there, past Wheal Coates - in a day of mizzle - which actually enhanced the dramatic feeling. And I also ascended St. Agnes Beacon. Great area 👍😊 Thank you for sharing 😊
Hey Marek, that walk looked amazing! No I wouldn't swap lives but I would have a bloody good chat with my twin and ask them why they wanted to swap lives.i'm presuming that if you say no, they bugger off into the distance but I'd ask them if they wanted a piss up first. Stay cool.
Some good views on this one Cool Dude. Respect to your friend for carrying his dog's caca for so long but surely if there is anywhere it's permitted to allow the poo to stay in the wild it's a place like that. Lastly, I'm not sure who is more hardcore the Cornish miners or the surfers.

Hey Matek ! Great video again. Cornwall is so beautiful. My second favourite place after the Isle of Wight. The North coast where you were is very rugged with some stunning beaches. Always good to start a walk with a cheery, pick-me-up story.... 😅😅😅. Cracking looking walk, Cool Dude. I love the old mines in Cornwall. Down again this summer, may have to head that way. 🎉🎉🎉 CD #123
The story of Bolster sounds like a wonderful opportunity for a modern classic script to be written for TV Marek. You would need a giant though. Do you know one that would be able to act out the final scene of bleeding out? Great video though, especially the music.
I actually fell over a cliff when I was 7/8. It was the Branscombe to Beer cliff path and my family accidentally followed the 'old' path that was super narrow and had a huge vertical drop beside it (the new path was further up the hill it turned out). Trying to keep up with my parents I tripped on a tree root and fell over the edge, fortunately to be caught in a huge bramble bush. My parents were able to pull me up and other than being covered in scratches I was fine. Needless to say we went a different way back.
Nice one cool dude! Such a dramatic landscape, those abandoned mines are so evocative... Inspired by your cool dude self, my brother and I did Walk the Wight yesterday. It was fun, painful and super foggy over the top of Tennyson Down! We scraped in around the 10hr mark. Thanks for showing us the way via your fantastic videos! PS When did it become socially acceptable to play loud music as you walk along? Came across a few people like that yesterday. Didn't care for that kind of behaviour, but no doubt I'm in the minority...
Fantastic. Well done cool dude. I agree with you completely about the loud music. It defeats the whole point of getting out into nature. That was the one thing that put me off 'Walk the Wight', all the noisy people. I would rather do it on a day just by myself.
Cornwall? Tick. Dogs? Tick. Perilous cliff walks? Tick. With regards to the poo-bag scenario, you forget that some less responsible dog owners walk part of the way, before flinging it in the nearest bush! (Don't judge me - I don't own a dog...)
A seven second deep mine shaft might freak me out if I think about it for too long. Still, I suppose it's better than the dropped stone being thrown back out at you. Nice to see there's now over 8k Cool Dudes 👍🏻
Yes. I’d swap lives. I’d secretly set up my family and friends so they also had a good life. I mean, you could die tomorrow. Grab every opportunity for adventure. 😊
The problem with your question is it doesn’t translate here well… in most places in Australasia if you own a small property and/or buy take away coffee more than once a day you are probably already a millionaire if not multiple millionaire. Average house price in NZ is a million for a pretty small house or 1 bedroom flat. The average Kiwi family has a multi million dollar home and probably has a holiday bach or investment property and buys take away coffee several times a day. So it’s unlikely you would swap everything and everyone you know so you could buy another frothy coffee a day… there is a limit to how much caffeine you can drink a day.
I have just googled it, and it's £1 to two New Zealand dollars so you would only need half a million. I drink two cups of coffee every morning, but I would make it at home to save money.
@@cdwc now if you’d posed the question would you like to swap your life for a life time supply of strawberry laces. I’d almost consider it. I had a dream where I had weaved an outfit out of them and I sat around and nibbled my sleeves all day. Was wonderful.
That question feels very like 'The Scapegoat' by Daphne Du Maurier (apt given her connection to Cornwall). I would like to seem like a nice person but I would definitely consider it, especially as I don't have any dependents and in Du Maurier's imagining the person swapped with was an absolute dick and the usurper was nice and a much better fit for the people in their life. On a totally separate note, for those of us who are data-focused, it would be great to know if the kids were old enough to count properly and what the length of their pause was between numbers (e.g. did they use the elephant system?). Loving the Cornwall vids. If you like the West Country I'd encourage you to one day visit the Bristol area if you haven't already, there are some excellent walks and the city itself has some interesting ghost stories.
The question is totally ripped off from 'The Scapegoat', I should have mentioned it. I agree that the person the bloke swapped with was a bit of a dick. I did not enjoy the book as much as I hoped, as I thought the idea was a bit difficult to sustain.
If a twin brother said that it would just add to all the other questions I already have for him, like how come no one told me about you and why haven't we met until now and mate, are you ok and who brought you up??
On a walk last week I noticed a dog walker had tied a (full) poo bag to the harness of the dog that had presumably produced the contents. Yeah dog, carry your own dumps! Also, did you visit Goonbell? Noticed it on the map at the start so just wondering if it was worthy of your mildly amusing place-name collection
I wouldn’t swap because I’d miss my kids too much. And millionaires’ kids always seem troubled, so I wouldn’t trust other Erin to do a good job. I really liked all the ocean, cliff and sea views!
