What gave it away early for me was the box it came in... the cheap box was for sure for the moissanite, and you can tell that box design was supposed to hold the top row of earrings there, and the slot on the bottom was for something else lol

I own several moissanite pieces & absolutely love them! It would be really hard for me to pay full price for a real diamond again after owning moissanite. I do wish I can find more moissanite set in quality 14k gold settings.

That's my problem. All Moissanite I see is always set in silver or gold plating. I just want 10k gold and Moissanites. And screwback earrings

It is very hard to distinguish moissanite from diamond, for the difference is so slight. I have bought an 8 mm moissanite stone to make myself a necklace, I absolutely love it.
To the untrained eye maybe but you can tell the difference

The bottom got less blue red colors

I have a gorgeous pair of earrings vintage. To this day im still not sure if their diamonds or the other really sparkly ones in video. Never had them tested or valued either 😂😂😂. If they are diamonds then i will be a wealthy lady as their huge. With someone could help me find out for sure as i teally would like to know.
I do love the looks of diamonds and prefer them more over the gaudy look of moissanite, but because of what they represent ( empty marketing ) and the horrible resell value, I would never buy diamonds. The look is important but if I’m going to wear an expensive piece of jewellery I want it to serve as a back-up investment.

I’ve watched a couple of these comparison videos and have picked out the moissanite every time. I don’t like how they reflect rainbow and look less real as they get larger in size. 4Cs all day.
4Cs all the way for lesser quality diamonds... Or paying a fortune for IDEF diamonds...
"less real" moissanite isn't a diamond imitation, it is its own stone you buy because you like it, not because you want to get close to a diamond

Moissanites shine harder and look better than diamonds and diamonds are way more expensive lol. W for the moissanite
So on the diamond, the setting is worth $12,000 and the diamond is probably worth 300 bucks. Diamonds are overrated and overpriced.
