However, I recall an old Shopsmith Sawdust Session where Nick Engler demonstrated how to set the miter angle using the digital angle gauge. The process is to hang the miter gauge off the edge of a table, attach the angle gauge to the miter bar, and rotate the bar by the desired angle.
