He had already hired her to be his live in maid and then some for the equivalent of a cup of coffee at Starbucks. When you’re 70 and dating a 20s 30s gal it’s always about the money. Never forget that! It’s the same here in Costa Rica 🇨🇷. I’m in my fifties and won’t date a 80 year old wealthy woman no matter what she is willing to buy me. What makes you think that a good looking woman that’s actually a hard worker would be interested in a senior citizen for anything other than money. Wake up people.
Money is not a factor. In social orders without money (The majority of history and across all 28 human primate species old men and young women have been attracted to each other. What I tell men is that the man who has access to the best technology and knows how to use it wins. An old man with a young horse, a young Carabao, and 🌽 popping up in a field is more attractive to a young woman that a young guy on foot asking her to delay pregnancy until he can trade something for a horse... You know "A horse, A horse, my whole kingdom for a horse." Sexual Dimorphism and Socioeconomic Disadvantage: Research in more developed countries shows that socioeconomic disadvantage is associated with earlier sexual debut and higher rates of unsafe sexual behaviors among females, but not males. This is linked to lower household living standards and unemployment. Women can start to lose reproductive capability the very moment the endocrine switch is turned on. Women have to be in a hurry. There are some women who are menopause around age 21. Shocking! I know. The French write and talk about this early onset of menopauses as an infrequent but normative condition. Americans, particularly the woman, do not know of such a condition. When a French study is cited they say it is an abnormal condition. Women have to sexually debut quickly and they have to find a man who has or can build a good nest. In high income countries young men enjoy economic parity with old men. Women look at the length of time a young man can employ a technology relative to the shorter duration that an old man like myself can use the same techniques. Money does not factor in! Sociologically speaking a truth meets all conditions. Money is only a technological transfer or storage of goods and services. Young men. Please disagree. I certainly disagreed when I was young. I ride my bike in an athletics field everyday. I always see a young boy, maybe 15 or 16 foundaling a new girl every week after the school bell rings. I want to stop and tell him two things but I don't. One: in five years you will not be attracted to that little girl. Two: All of the boys that are at home doing their homework and thus learning how to use technology will have your girl if they want her and a 100 more. The only thing that Hollywood Handsome little fucker knows is how to finger some little girl in broad daylight! It is a damned shame. But some older boy must have told him that girls and women are attracted to looks and the only thing an unattractive man has to offer is money! That's a God Damn Shame!
72 year old Aussie here with a lovely 33 year old Pinay, she's fully employed as a Branch Manager for an American company in Phils, has a 10 year old Son. We're a couple and very compatible, she doesn't want money just a committed guy who loves her, and there I am. It does happen and its worth striving for.
The foreigner/filipina relationships seem to follow the same pattern. He has money, she doesn't. He is old, she isn't. He is the provider, she expects that. The filipina has learned from other filipinas that the foreigner can and will change her life to one that makes her happy. She appreciates him as her provider and all that he can teach her with life lessons. His age and physical appearance is not considered a negative factor in the relationship.............he brings much to her life as she does to his. Live long, live well, live happy.............in the beautiful Philippines.
Paul, Here is my takeaway. Initially in any romantic relationship one enters it is always prudent to hold back; emotions, finances, compromising information etc. However, it is also just as important to read the room. A 70 year old man with a 24 year old beautiful young woman that cooks, cleans and sleeps with him, should know that she has needs and expenses. In my view had he provided everything as agreed, food, shelter etc. He should have also given her P300 (pesos) per day and the relationship would more than likely still be intact and be a "Win Win" for everyone. Final Thought. The analogy that comes to mind is: Never jump over a dollar to save a dime! Great Video!

I’ve been thinking about it all day. He deserves what he got.. there was a woman in desperate need, and she laid herself at his feet willing to give herself along with hard work, she wasn’t begging for a free ride. She gave her body and her labor For mercy and he showed his true colors . he showed himself to be a greedy man.. She didn’t ask for much just some human kindness and compassion.. but he seized the advantage he treated her like a lower life form .good for her for having enough pride to walk away . Some people are such assholes so worried about someone getting over on them for a dollar or two it makes me sick.
There are a LOT of ol'farts who can't get out of their own way. The younger ones ( passport Bros ) exploit and prey on the disadvantaged. They can't find or be accepted in their own countries. Finding a younger expat with principles, character, values, morals etc. is rare. Most Filipinas are limited and will take other countries discarded or trash just for survival. It's sad but we didn't set the rules for humanity.

If you love someone looking out for their best interest comes naturally. I think a good takeaway is remember to treat those in our lives with love and selflessness. Contributing the bare minimum in a relationship will not produce much fruit.
That is a pretty cool story Paul, thanks for sharing. I guess he didn't know about the unspoken agreement in PH. If you can't spend a couple of hundred dollars a month for a salary on a girl then there is something wrong with you. He got what he deserved.
Geez my fillipina in silicon valley makes 150k a year never asks for monies, is smart frugal wastes nothing. Never never asked for some of my monies. she maks her own saves too..18 years married now.
I think he dodged a bullet. I think over time the story would have become more complicated and the burden with family, etc. He really didn’t know her long. My experience is it take 2-3 years to START to know the truth and by that time he’d already be all in. So it may sting a little while but learn from the situation and move on. That way nothing is wasted
In all honesty and practicality you are smart but don't forget this guy is already 70 and has to step it up while he can. What does a 70 yr. old know what the young generations require these days?! I'm a 70yr. ol'fart and don't have the faintest clue on what my 30's -40's daughters want or need. They threw out my generations playbook out along time ago. Most of us old farts are left alone.
Monty told the similar story a while back. she did him a favor by leaving him. but, I don’t remember hearing that he tried to get her back by having her family live with him. that was a new twist. she sounds very practical.
Like you said, you can't make this stuff up. Karma definitely played a factor in this story (in my option). Never ceases to amaze me on the stories you come across. The Philippines has definitely spiced things up in your life!
Great story Paul. Well that kind of adds to the economic dilemma I posed to you in a previous comment regarding the age gap situation. This was an interesting case because how much time and stress did this guy create for himself by having a little slip and slide with the maid. Let me tell you, there seems to be a lot of “maid” stories here. They are easier to find than to get rid of when things don’t work out IMHO.
You can't make this stuff up. He really blew it. Cheap is one thing, massively stupid is another. Duct tape can't even help this guy. Great video Paul! Happy Trails to You!
As Boogie told me a few times there is always another new crop, always.. he worked for triad in hong kong paid mayors in towns in PI so girls would be relesed to work HK bars. I know i took their pics once in manilla. for job applications. remember that..
lol..very strange. Personally think he was actually lucky that she didn't come back and just use him for his money. Sounds like she could get whatever she wanted. Was definitely a good Filipina though as she did not go back and use him for his money. Thanks for sharing, Paul...Jim
He’s in his 70’s got the bucks and he’s cheap. Hey, how much longer u gonna live, if you like what you got and you can afford it, spend a little cash. Rather die with a smile on my face then with a wad in my pocket.
NO in yout 70s medical events do happen, PI has rising costs. If an expat one learns really fast ther is no rescue for you, your on your own. he was smart to be smart about his monies. And he found out it was money for her.. A good girl doesnt go to many islands looking for some hint hint. He doged a bullet.
Well my friend I wish I could express where you draw the line on people's kindness it's a question that I find is different for each and every person that passes through our lives some you hit it off with them. Others you can't get away fast enough. So I think many people confuse kindness and generosity together. But generosity can never replace or buy kindness. With that said I hope and pray that people will look in there heart to find kindness and look in there wallet for generosity. Peace out brother. From one of the crazies.
Holy crap, this sounds wayyy too similar to my 1st ex here. She was young and gorgeous, and she loved me like I was a king. After a year, and for reasons I later regret, I broke up right before I went back to the US to take care of family issues. Several months later I came back and tried to get her back and she was NOT having it at all. I offered everything - take care of her kid, luxury trips, money for her family. lol The girls here can be so beautiful, loving and true... but if you break up with them, that's it! Bitterness forever. They'd rather stay poor. Man this story hit home, I was a mess. lol Hard lessons learned just like this dude.
@@Robin-xt7yo Actually she's still dating 6 years later. I saw her FB rants about guys last year. The problem for her is that most guys are cheating on her, are just playing around, or aren't willing to take care of her child. You know how dating is, most are just playing it seems. Anyway, I treated her like I cared, unlike the guy in this story.

The first thing that came to my mind, the Country Western song....Easy Come Easy Go. There is his side, her side and somewhere in the middle is the truth. Many of us Expats give extra money for everyday things in tips. Those in real need, like this setup, he tried to be a Certified Penny Pincher. You can't treat your lady like a servant. Nor should you write a blank check. He was Alpha Male without any common sense. She was too easy, but her ego wouldn't let her go back to a Cheap Charlie.
Reminds me of the classic 70's rift 'Life in the fast lane' though as a retired expat. If there is anything to these lyrics it suggests lifestyle imagined through forms of culture can manifest when we transport ourselves from home base which entails strains of capital be that financial or emotional roller coaster rides as in this case. So the case study did end up paying for the social engineering experiment.
Yes, it is called lack of commitment and lack of respect if you were going to sleep with me and enjoy that part of me you need to be committed and marry me as that
That’s the best story so far. Definitely on the side of the lady. I think he definitely should have just kept paying the 250 a day. Well worth keeping her happy and at home.
I met my wife in HK. She was an OFW experiencing a terrible, abusive situation. (We met by chance in a social environment - a barbecue). I extracted her from that situation. She needed to return to the Philippines after reneging on her contract. I took over her contract and she returned to HK. We are around the same age - she was 37 and I was 48 when we met. After a year we had a child together, so 'technically', I was sleeping with the maid! We now live in the Philippines and are doing very well, around PP80,000 pcm in income, owning property of around USD 1M. I get the feeling that now I am actually the maid.
I can relate to most of your comment (we have no offspring together). Been working out for us for almost 25 years now. No regrets. Best wishes to you both.
I watch a lot of your videos Paul, I like them.I like your humor, baby mae and your doggies.this story eas interesting and funny. And I can believe it 😁🤣
Hey Pauley, Yep - that guy had a diamond and did not know how to appreciate her ... he was too cheap to his own detriment. He got what he deserved. I hope she's happy wherever she may be.
They are forced to compromise their dignity, self respect and a life filled with love to survive and support their families. Try and get that in the USA. Our kids don't appreciate our sacrifices or unwavering love. They are very selfish. It"s not that we were bad parents, it's that new generations have a whole new set of values. The Baby Boomer Era made and kept America for the entitled generations.
@@wanderingdoc5075Well, at least she had the integrity to leave the diamond engagement ring behind on the bureau... Some would just take the ring and split
Great story, Paul , first I have to admit that I admired him for being cheap instead of playing the sugar daddy. Then I realized he overdid it. I would have never thought of talking her down to 250. When I was young I had several maids who told me they want to be my girlfriend. I refused them all and terminated some. Never a good idea to mix work and private life. 😅 I have to admire her character, too, though.
Basic principles, follow the Golden Rule. Treat others how you want to be treated. You learn that hopefully at a young age. Otherwise you make poor choices as this man did.
And his yard is a mess again 🤣

Karma is a ************** enjoyed the story
That is a pretty cool story Paul, thanks for sharing. I guess he didn't know about the unspoken agreement in PH. If you can't spend a couple of hundred dollars a month for a salary on a girl then there is something wrong with you. He got what he deserved.
Geez my fillipina in silicon valley makes 150k a year never asks for monies, is smart frugal wastes nothing. Never never asked for some of my monies. she maks her own saves too..18 years married now.
Thank you Paul. I enjoyed this story.
Thanks Paul another great story! No-one can tell stories like you do 😅
Wow great story Paul, this guy is a total knob for lack of a better word.
Haha, total knob indeed! Glad you enjoyed the story though!
At 5.59 the chicken behind you was so shocked at your story, he fainted 😂
Chicken was astonished that SOME ASH-HOLE LIKE THAT LIVES IN HIS ENVIRONMENT.
Great story.
It's not like a 24 year old falls in love with the dude 70+. It was bound to end quickly to begin with. Yes, he dodged the bullet.
Maybe maybe not as he could have had a good ride while it lasted and now left on the sidelines with nothing.
I agree..If a pi wants monies drop her fast. she is using you as an atm.. it can be ok but living overseas is tricky no life lines your on your own
I think she dodged the bullet. Cheap old codger
Sounds like a freaking hostage situation. He "invites" them to his house... so she comes back.
He should never have rung the landlord. Lol! Great story Paul. Thanks for sharing.
You got that right!
Monty told the similar story a while back. she did him a favor by leaving him. but, I don’t remember hearing that he tried to get her back by having her family live with him. that was a new twist. she sounds very practical.
Funny lol.....Good Vid Paul.
Lookin good, Paul. Interesting story , too., as usual.
What the heck are you talking about...@@peter-pg5yc
Great Thumbnail Photo !!!
Thanks!
Congratulations on 95,000 subscribers!
Good video Paul ! Tks !
Great story 😊
lol..very strange. Personally think he was actually lucky that she didn't come back and just use him for his money. Sounds like she could get whatever she wanted. Was definitely a good Filipina though as she did not go back and use him for his money. Thanks for sharing, Paul...Jim
Agree with you 100%. Do not think much of him.
Love it Paul. I hope you have many story's like this.
Wow! Just Wow!
This is an incredible story paul. 🎉😂
Pauly I marvel how you can come up with so much interesting content so often. As a dog follower I have never been bored by your new tricks! lol
Great story
He’s in his 70’s got the bucks and he’s cheap. Hey, how much longer u gonna live, if you like what you got and you can afford it, spend a little cash. Rather die with a smile on my face then with a wad in my pocket.
NO in yout 70s medical events do happen, PI has rising costs. If an expat one learns really fast ther is no rescue for you, your on your own. he was smart to be smart about his monies. And he found out it was money for her.. A good girl doesnt go to many islands looking for some hint hint. He doged a bullet.
I know right! Ya can't take it with you.
You go girl!
😎ALWAYS GREAT INFORMATION 😎
He was stingy and likely he was selfish in the bedroom, she needed the whole package he offered an empty bag.
He's 70! She went to his house with a scheme in mind. I wonder if the Landlord was in on it. He knew she was a player.
@@travisadams4470 probably was..
@@travisadams4470A player? She had the integrity to leave the engagement ring 💍 on the bureau and walked away. The guy was a cheap a-hole.

Agree with you Paul on this one.
Paul, you're probably the best story teller in the Philipines, love it. Though the thumbnails with your girl are ...
i agree. actually sometimes i watch Paul in spite of his thumbnails not because of them.
She was young and beautiful you say ... That means she never was gonna have a problem with finding someone else to replace you, and so she did.
Most girls you meet in RP have a past and a child. Gotta deal with that.
Find an educated one they are there like mine. degreed accountant. now in san jose ca. They do come here on work visas, find a family make friends get introducetd to one like I did.. you dont have to go to pi to get one.. They are already here.. smart, great english educated, have a job. looking for you!!!
Crazy. 😂😂😂 Nothing worse than a stingy man. It says so much about your character.
There is nothing wrong with being stingy
@@leonardngwa914Sure, but see how far that gets you
Reminds me of the classic 70's rift 'Life in the fast lane' though as a retired expat. If there is anything to these lyrics it suggests lifestyle imagined through forms of culture can manifest when we transport ourselves from home base which entails strains of capital be that financial or emotional roller coaster rides as in this case. So the case study did end up paying for the social engineering experiment.
Great story. I would guess that there was something else happening that the girl didn't feel comfortable with.
Yes, it is called lack of commitment and lack of respect if you were going to sleep with me and enjoy that part of me you need to be committed and marry me as that
Wow. Reminds me of a crazy story/situation here in Thailand with someone we knew.
Hilarious
Stalker accurately describes someone that moves a lady's family into his house in a pathetic attempt to get her to move back in.
More like manipulator using his money ...
@@AidaJof A stalker with money is still a stalker.
@@AidaJof Look at what motivated him to move the family in.....'nuff said
That’s the best story so far. Definitely on the side of the lady. I think he definitely should have just kept paying the 250 a day. Well worth keeping her happy and at home.
lol nice story
And I can believe it 😁🤣
Hey Pauley,
Yep - that guy had a diamond and did not know how to appreciate her ... he was too cheap to his own detriment. He got what he deserved. I hope she's happy wherever she may be.
Yeah I agree Aida ….
She wasn't exactly an angel herself.. hopping from foreigner to foreigner always looking for the next best thing ..
YES not to be an atm machine. how do you think she lived at home. i for one know bwcause ive been in their homes. You have no idea.

Great story and laugh. He certainly gaughed her wrong. Some people bought one too many used cars. When it looks great take it.
Reminds me of Vietnam talk, " Cheap Charlie" but I went to Sydney for my R&R.
The maid made him suffer..love rules not $$$ good on her god bless her . I hope she's found someone decent. ❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
