  • Using an inexpensive am radio can help you identify how much DE is your home.
    Want to check the dirty electricity in your home with a meter? I recommend the EMI meter from Greenwave: greenwavefilters.com/partners...

    What you're hearing are radio frequency oscillations which occur in any device that has a switching power supply, and the waves they produce are harmless.
    I'm a ham operator who has worked as a TV repairman for over 30 years, i've been exposed to electromagnetic fields millions of times stronger than anything you're picking up, and I'm 66 years old and counting. Our eyes are the most vulnerable organ to radio frequency energy, and I'm still not wearing glasses at my age.

      that's great for you @grantspassTVrepair, but we're not all the same. I know many people that can literally die from eating a peanut while the majority of us will not react. I personally have symptoms from these harmonics that I have proven time and again, and so do hundreds of my clients. There is abundant science that shows human-made fields can cause oxidative stress and impair many of the body's functions. I'm happy you are symptom free, but that doesn't mean we all are ;)

    That's the same radio conrad biologic guy talked about. I have one and it's a great old radio for what you are doing.

    Wow! Very interesting! My degree is in Computer Electronics and Programming. I knew about EMF effects on any sensitive electronic equipment and the use of Faraday Cages to block dangerous EMF, like the ones used in a Microwave. However, I had never thought about the health effects on humans --especially if you are highly sensitive. Thank you! I just liked and subscribed to your UA-cam channel.

    so if the noise is really awful then theres a problem or how do you determine the noise being something thats faulty

    Hi Cathy, thanks for the great videos! In "happyhabitat", he wrote about the AM radio frequencies you are measuring saying"these mid-range radio frequncies tracel far and can impact the hypersensitive, even if the AM radio is silent" Would you know how far they travel? I suppose that would depend on how loud they are, and other factors. I'm trying to get an idea of this as I measure cars as I'm reacting greatly to this range of frequencies. Also, I"m wondering what is the brand/model Spectrum Analyzer you're using, as I'm interested in getting one.

    • @sharonbehn7964
      @sharonbehn7964 Рік тому

      Have you had measured any cars using the \Spectrum Analyzer?
      Also, I'd love to find a guide to the meaning of sounds on the AM radio. That'd be great! I'd bet an engineer with the right equipment could do this.

      You're correct that the range is limited. If I remember correctly its 540 kHz to 1,700 kHz, so it won't pick up everything. If you're that sensitive then your body is the best meter by far. I am using the Owon oscilloscope with the EMI meter from EMF sollutions.

    Just get a Stetzerizer (you can rent it in some places) and the measure it and then put in the Stetzers (if needed) into the wall socket bc yes you can measure it with an AM, but it needs to be measured=knowing. The biggest polluter I had here with dirty elec. was a Computer Power Supply. I changed it with a good one and a few Stetzers and all fine here. Also we have solar on our roof but no dirty nor EMF from it, so not all solars are bad.

    • @Mihalyofficial
      @Mihalyofficial Рік тому +1

      the stetzer filters dont actually reduce EMR radiation, they only smooth out the electricity so Its linear, there is still a magnetic field around electrical wires and devices, there are videos online showing this...also if you smooth out the power in one area, that can cause a buildup in another, so careful with that also

      @@cathyshu1434 MAY not work!!! Is a big difference and here it works bc I have measured it all and no problems here, but I will look at this one bc always open to new stuff but 'MAY' is not the same as 100% not. Just saying....

      Have you tested RF after installing the filters? I am also learning. Thought about buying filters to install in my garage where the wire enters the house. But after watching the video, I doubted if I should. Thanks.

    • @KeZaX7
      @KeZaX7 Рік тому

      @@cathyshu1434 Yes I have tested here all and know that I am busy with it for 18months step by step and I have done it all. I know that it gives a small magnetic field, but we do not sit in the neighborhood of these filters. The filters just do their job here as described with no problems. Anyway I will look into it and I just have contact more people about this + Dave from Stetzer himself, so let wait and see...

    Will a "whole home dirty electricity filter" solve this? I've seen some for sale for about 1,500$.
    So dirty electricity is not necessarily my house? It can be from the nasty power lines? I wish I could go back to analog meter...that's prolly what's causing all this.

    • @cathycooke
      @cathycooke  4 місяці тому

      A whole house filter can help to filter what's coming in from the grid, if you place it at or near the panel, but otherwise, you need to identify and get rid of the specific sources. A whole house filter will not help with point sources like the dimmer switch seen here.

    I'm gonna take an educated guess and say none of these electronics are shielded. Nor did they use to say must accept any RF. Interference like electronics used to say on all their labels I have also known a lot of phone chargers. Don't have a polarized plug nor a ground plug which I think they should.

    New sub! So what do we do next after identifying the dirty electricity? Are there suggestions?

    • @cathycooke
      @cathycooke  Рік тому +1

      Turning on/off things, unplugging things etc. You can see here that when the light is turned off, it does not emit, so that is the solution. You could also get rid of the dimmer switch. For bigger problems, you'd really need to consult with a Building Biologist b/c every situation is different.

    D. E. is that something more than RFI (radio frrquency interference)? What does D. E. harm? Physical health?
    If it's physically harmful what are some corrective actions? Thanks.

    • @cathycooke
      @cathycooke  Рік тому +4

      Yes it causes health problems, like all non-native EMF's do. The corrective actions are to get rid of the sources, like dimmer switches etc.

    If you find D.E. at the walls, you need some kind of low pass filter where the electricity enters the house..

    • @cathycooke
      @cathycooke  Рік тому +1

      If it's a point source however, like a dimmer, a filter at the main entrance isn't going to solve that problem.
