Fantastic video Carl! I am getting better and better thanks to videos like this. If I looked back at myself 5 years ago ... pufff! how I could be so inefficient!
Thank you Carl, I think you have very good communication skills! I've subscribed to your channel :) With my job is very easy to get urgencies; like you said, in those situations one could simply "shift" the calendar items forward. But how to deal with frequent interruptions (from the boss or whatever similar)?
Interruptions are a part of life these days. One way is to turn everything off for thirty minutes to an hour when you are doing focused work.Nobody's going to be upset with you if they cannot get in touch with you for an hour or so.
Is the Time Sector System course an updated version. Do previous students of TSS get access? I think the one I’m logging into still might be the older version. Thanks.
Hi Terry, The Time Sector System hasn't been updated yet. It's in progress, but there won't be many changes this year. It will be a free update for anyone already enrolled un the course.
Hi Carl, I have one question regarding your 2+8 daily checklist. Should the 2 p1 objectives be done first, and only then should we move on to p2 morning task? For example, if my objective is cardio late afternoon (after work), should it be marked p1 and wait whole day to be done, meanwhile doing p2 and p3 tasks, or should it be marked p3 as afternoon tasks and leave the p1 objectives for things to be done in the morning?
Hi Michal, I do try to do the 2 objectives as soon as possible, but that's not always possible. Sometimes, they can only be done later in the day. As they are red-flagged they will always be at the top.
@@Carl_Pullein Thank you for quick answer! I have one more question, if you don't mind. What is your approach towards habits? There are habits that I would like to add in my life that would relate to my goals (intermittent fasting, meditation, daily reviews), so should they be in Recurring Areas of Focus? I was wondering if things like fasting should be in Todoist as a task (P1/Recurring Areas of Focus) or a calendar as an event with maybe crossing them out in Evernote in their habit tracker template. I would like to keep my setup as simple as it could be (3 apps - GCal, Todoist, Evernote), so I would prefer not to have any additional habit tracking app.
Hi Michal, with new habits I use my calendar. The key here is to make whatever habit you are developing non-negotiable which means you need to allocate time to do it as frequently as required. As what goes on your calendar gets done, that is the natural place to put the habit.
Thank you.
I'll re-watch this periodically to remind myself to not put too many things to be done in my day.
You're welcome, Marc. Good luck

That's what it's all about, Jose. Continuous and never-ending improvement.
Perfect timing!
Glad you found it helpful.
Great video, thank you for the tips.
Glad you liked it, Ali.
Excellent, thank you!
You're welcome.

Doesn't it feel overwhelming to follow such a rigid schedule?
You do each activities in a specific timeframe.
Not at all. That's how I get things done and how I am able to generate time for relaxing and time for doing things I want to do.
40 minutes of showering? That's bad time management ;-)
Hahaha I meant, eating and showering :-)
