Every spring I come back to this video and every time I learn something new. This is pure gold!
That's what I love about this sport. The top pilots are always ready to share their experiences and advice....no secrets.
Great presentation.
Just came back to this again. The foreshadowing @42:50 regarding Kiwi is sobering.
Priceless informations ! A must see video ! Thanks Russell and to whoever shared this valuable opened discussion ;^)
Fantastic, just what we need on a club night, people prepared to share their experience and expertise with all pilots.
excellent vid. cool and straight-forward guys with down-to-earth points of view. like.
Great Video thanks Russell and Martin brilliant info. I found it very helpful. Cheers.
Just watching this again after many years
Thank you for sharing this! Very useful!
The dredlock test pilot guy got mad skills!! Martin Orlik, super thanks for your inputs!
well done and thanks so much for this great information
I love Rogden! He taught me to fly in 1995. Top lad all round.
great presentation and such valuable information...thanks :)
Great info for the weekend recreation pilot like myself too. And a really nice motivator for siv clinic. I learned a lot just about getting full stalls, and little wingovers down. Repetition. Repetition. Repetition. Thanks and Cheers!
Great video. Thank you very much for sharing.
Thanks for the info very nice, well done all the best.
Great video, thanks for sharing.
EPIC ! thank you very much - always appreciate the GIFT of free webtrainings
really enjoyed listening great stuff
Hi, Guys, excellent tips and Seminar from great pilots. Just to tell you Why you get out of a Twist by peddaling like a bicycle is because you create what is called Gyroscopic Force. Same as MotoGP riders when taking the turns, they take the turns just putting the body to the same side as the turn. Have a Great Flight.
that was so great.thanks so much
Awesome, there should be more master class videos out there.
Thanks for sharing this vídeo !
Pleasure!
Great video! Sharing info and experience especially from world class pilots is the best way to grow our sport and make it safer. Would love to join a seminar with this calibre rather than listen to the local instructor inflate his ego about how he's the greatest pilot to ever grace the planet! Russell if you made a video of safety and training, especially for entry to intermediate pilots I would gladly give you my money.
Top video....very interesting.
it's still actual...
thanks for sharing
Thank you soo much for this video! It would be nice to have a video specific on two liners pilotong techniques: there is monstruous confusion around about the subject!
Thank you very much Russell, this training is so much information! You're have a lot clever and practical view of modern glider piloting. I'm sure this will help me.
Cheers
i realize it's kinda off topic but do anyone know of a good website to stream new movies online ?
@Major Keanu Lately I have been using FlixZone. Just search on google for it =)
@Marcos Reign Definitely, have been watching on flixzone for years myself =)
@Marcos Reign thank you, I signed up and it seems like a nice service =) I appreciate it!
@Major Keanu You are welcome xD
nice video. Thanks!
I liked Russel's demonstration of how moderns gliders work themselves out of a cravat at 21:42. Para Break-dance :)
A must watch for paragliding pilots - informative and important. Would love to have more.
Very helpful
share more of videos like this one, please
superb
Great video, should be mandatory for all xc pilots.
Please please please more
Thanks, this video its in Portugal Paragliding Facebook. Its gold informations ;) Thanks. a lot!
Totally agree, Discussions like this are a must, but ultimatley do SIV, Yet some say it is not a must. But to get the correct feel and control, i do sometimes wonder why we cannot do some SIV Over the likes of Semer Water in the dales. With the correct set-up.Boat retrieve and instruction. even if you get the odd day
The dude with dredlock hair is Martin Orlick another world class comp/test pilot.
Perfect. I would like you to be a guest and make a seminar in Montenegro...
great information thank you
Martin Orlik, test pilot from Axispara
07.31 Agree totally agree.
Anyone, know is the name of the other super experienced pilot? I've been using his methods and its bang on!!
How often in a 2 hr flight will you have to deal with a collapse.
Has he been flying in Bolivia, innit
Is it just me or is there some tension between these two speakers?
haha, still informative in 2020, although I get impression that one of the presenters should get muted, as his theories the least cause confusion...

Shame what happened to Russell😢
Why, what happened?
@@BobNL1964 it is what it is.
