For 4 days I worked almost nonstop. Unfortunately I wasnt successful. My boxes were bigger than the braids size. I will keep working to achieve this style. Thank you.
Update... I was able to complete my box braids. Not bad once you make decent parts and get the 3rd braid wrapped around what is crochet inside box. I am now wearing my 2nd completion. It looks even better than the 1st time 😎
I've been Braiding my own hair for over 30 years now. In a previous video, Tupo uses rubber bands to separate her parts. I tried that for the first time with some jumbo Twists I did on myself and few days ago and THE METHOD IS A GAME CHANGER 4 REAL! Thanks Tupo!

I've braided my own hair since I was 19 (over 40 years now) and edge fatigue caused me to give it a rest for the last 2 years. Even the crochet snatched my edges in the very front after awhile. I miss the braids and my hubby loves them on me. This rubber band method will save my front hairline and still allow me to wear them. I'm excited to give this a try!!

I’ve been doing my 12 year old granddaughter’s hair since she was about 6 years old. This is the best method ever. I’ve been braiding hair since 1968. I learned to do extensions with my girls back in the 80’s. I LOVE this method. THANK YOU!

I took a (much needed) break and decided to get on UA-cam to watch MORE vids on ways to braid my hair. To be honest, I was actually looking for something completely different to do with these hair extensions. But I came across your video and you have encouraged me to try the box braids again. I’m going to see if my 25 year old daughter will trust me enough to try this with her hair. She currently wears wigs and it’s such a long process for her. I think this will work beautifully on her. I know how to do simple braids so I’m confident I can do this.

I’m going to see if my 25 year old daughter will trust me enough to try this with her hair. She currently wears wigs and it’s such a long process for her. I think this will work beautifully on her. I know how to do simple braids so I’m confident I can do this.
