Our Sinad Meter is easy to use and can quickly measure the signal-to-noise ratio of your audio device, allowing you to optimize its performance. Cheers
Looks a good bit of kit, If I didn't have my Motorola I'd be very interested.
well done sir !
Funny this should just drop. Just come up from workshop after finally getting round to recap my S101 after getting one from overseas last year. I did try your original circuit last year but couldn’t get it to work for some reason, hence importing the Sinader s101. Yours is going to be popular I’m sure, nice one.
Cheers
How shematic?
Really interesting video and nice work on remaking an old classic. The Sinadder meters work extremely well and as you say they are perfect for aligning two way radios. Out of interest what is the value of the meter you are using i.e. how many mA?
I want one
I've got one and I ain't in the USA..I'm in the other Country...not just Yankees over here.
Ive been meaning to try and build or purchase one of these for ages. Email send!
Hi knoximan, I have built my unit it all works well (I have got pictures if you want to see But I am having real trouble getting the meter under 18db with the 2 potentiometers and that was a struggle Any Ideas what I can try, do or change, But the 2kHz adjusts lovely to the right hand side
Op amp makes all the difference in getting the noise flat down, sometimes the meters both old and new can stick at the low end so give them a tap, also the two caps c8 and c9 need to be matched as closely as possible.
What a fantastic unit! I would like to purchase one of these, I am in the US. Would you be able to sell me one
Yes I'm going to come up with a strategy for some US sales I'll keep you posted.
