Arturia will take over the world of Synths ...using pigments for production and is one of the best Synth i have ever used in my life...performace + versatililty + looks( gorgeous colors ). Thanks arturia
I thought it was crazy because I am going to buy a second Microfreak tomorrow because its such an inspiring and musical instrument. I just want more of this unique syth there is nothing like it! Then I remembered this demo and had to find it. Now I see there were 3! This synth was slept on by so many crappy demos of it. It's finally coming out that it really is a future classic. Thanks Arturia! I finally found my synth soul mate!
Ha ha. Just read this 10 years later. I have to agree. Micro freaks freak out if they are lonely. They NEED other freaks to argue with them. I bought my first today and four hours later I ordered another one!
This demo is killer!!! So well executed and the track is an absolute banger. Definitely has Korg Volca vibes from the first promo back in 2013. The Microfreak sounds like a beast, love the Drumbrute too.
Wow, that was a surprisingly good clip! Live performance, cool tunes, fitting environment. It all blends together really well, I think I welcome being pulled into the Arturia world. I never played an instrument, but damn, now I want to buy a DrumBrute Impact and a MicroFreak just to fiddle around with!
The number of distinct Microfreak features Simon(?) managed to show off without completely compromising the tune is seriously impressive. Music critics _and_ marketing departments happy? Hat's off to you.
This video makes me wish there was a 49 key microfreak with those lovely PCB keys. I think even if Arturia just made a plain old midi keyboard with an arpeggiator and no synth, with those same keys, it would be absolutely awesome. They're so quick to make a note that it's addicting.
Bought this thing a few years ago and for what it is i love it. I wished they would make something like it in 49 keys. I find myself wondering what would happen if the poly brute and microfreak were cross pollinated. Two considerably unique and innovative designs brought together to create an even more unimaginably expressive instrument.
@@taylorst.5131 Yeah the polybrute looks like unbelievable but you have to be rich to buy it. If I would sell my Juno 106, I would not be able to have enough money for a Polybrute.
I bought one of these. Fun to play with for a few days.Very high quality product indeed but lacking of a software patch editor such as rivals have on PC, renders all of these capabilities useless for me. I wonder if Arturia has such goal to make it easier to create different type patches.
This will only empty your bank account. And get your wife mad at you for it......sorry that's my story. Just life it. At the end of the day, we all end up the same way. Just a matter of if you enjoyed your stay. Happy synth-E-sizering
Hi there. cool performance. I've now also brought drumbrute and microfreak. however i don't know how i can hear the drumbrute stereo on my speakers. what do i need? thank you and stay healthy.
Gr8 demo...energy, skill etc... but what stole the show (IMHO) is that fantastic place, the plants and the furnishings.....looks like it was a botanists conservatory.....
That was amazing. If I just have one microfreak, and it's looped through a sequencer such as a Launchpad via MIDI, would I be able to keep that loop going while making a new sound on the microfreak to loop over it? Or would I have to get multiple like shown here?
Feels like Morocco or Algeria? Or is this just someone’s super eclectic space? The vocoder software pushed me into buying. I have far too many synths but microfreak is now worth the asking price for the vocoder alone.
@@claytonderricks2460 Ohh wow it’s near Grenoble, one of my GF’s is from there! I do feel somewhat ok with my guess given, “It was designed in the Moorish Revival-Arab-Andalusian style” thanks for the info!

I'm guessing that was cycling envelope running in loop mode modulating filter for breathing effect - unfortunately there's no VCA destination, but filter should give a similar effect in general
Woow what a Palace and this guy? Wadafak, ? He, this Mec of sorts playing 3 microfreaks and a drumbeat simultanious? What a champ. He is showcasing. I also got a microfreak recently and I already decided I want a Beatport. One quickly sometime real soon. To be companions of my SonicwareLiven collection of modulair synths

Oy....just when I figured I knew what my "analog" setup would most likely look like....There are NO synths out there that has immediatly grabbed by attention like Microfreak did, first time I saw someone use it I knew it would be a future piece of my setup. But I didn´t stop to think what 2 freaks could do, let alone 3 of them! Now all I gotta do is become a superstar so Arturia will send me stuff I can´t afford to buy at the moment :D Since I got my Keylab 61 two years ago, I guess I knew Arturia´s products would be a part of my future in music making. This cool performance is exactly the type of setup I´m going for, to break free from that @*!# computer. Microfreak to me just seems like the one synth that everybody should get, all the other synths that came out and has been talked about all over youtube...well they lost. This one small device, that even cost less then a lot of the competition...what´s not to love? Let´s make music Fun again! Now if i may be excused, I need to rewind and hear this a few more times :D
Hi! I've tried out the Arturia V 6 Collection, and I have to say I love the work you all did on the DX7 and Synclavier. Is there any way the Arturia team could attempt to remake the Roland JD-800, MKS20, and D50 all in software form?
How did he input that sequence like that?? You can just hit a key and then save it as the first note to the sequence and then repeat the steps? I did not know that!
