    This is a 1 1/2 year old design I dusted off. Im surprised it still works properly after so many updates.
    I can upload the craft file if you want , its not that hard to pilot, except for the paragliding part .

    Almost every KSP player preparing for a mission: "We'll need a command pod, some extra parachutes for the return, a heatshield, oh let's not forget science, loads of solar panels, extra batteries, these cool looking landing legs, and a powerful engine so we don't have to spend hours burning".
    A select crazy few: "Hmm, a seat, we can mount it on the batteries. The smallest engine we can find, a bit of fuel for it, just enough solar panels, and we'll throw in a science experiment for fun".

    Couldn't you have cut down xenon requirements by using gravity assists? Surely that would make it lighter?

      Absolutely but this was a eeloo direct mission.
      I try to avoid gravity assists for the moment, since all the maneuver node tweaking is murder on my arm and shoulder.

      Turbo Pumped how much lighter do you think it could get?

    • @turbopumped6490
      @turbopumped6490  6 років тому +15

      Only about 200 kg less , thanks to the heavy jet and Ion engine.
      I have tried junos too but they suuuck :)

      Turbo Pumped Why don't you use a mod like precise node? To keep the game stock?

      >Why don't you use a mod like precise node? To keep the game stock?
      Same question. Thing like this or Kerbalgineer even hardly can be considered as cheating, they just make interface rather more friendly.
