As you said, since they brought in this new rule, it's become a trend and you have some people who will do it, just because it's in their nature to be follow fashion. B. It's actually big business - with the cost of everything going up, and certain businesses having to incur more costs, it creates a market for this. Either way, the cost of what happened here, is way too great. RIP to the grandparents and infant grandchild.
Why was the police chasing a teef on the highway going in the wrong direction? I would have left then because at the end of the day they're not recouping anything from that robbery. The police is responsible for that

Why did the police need to chase? Could they have gotten the license plate number and tracked down the car and the people associated with it? Regardless, chasing the car or not driving on the opposite side of the freeway would have caused a crash eventually, or the possibility would be high up there. Tragic incident
