  • Why were Mormon Pioneers infatuated with Phoenician architecture??? In this video I take you on a tour of the Salt Lake County Courthouse, the Alta Club (freemasonic), The Elks Lodge (freemasonic), The Crandall Building - “Salt Lake’s first skyscraper”, Zions Bank - The oldest commercial building in Utah and multiple other gorgeous Phoenician embellished buildings. 🍻

Years ago my best friend had an office in this building when he worked for the city and mayor. I asked him if we could take a tour of the building and we progressed to walk the entire inside from the deep basement to the upper towers. We explored everywhere. Incredible craftsmanship.

    A little hidden info.
My mom was born in 1924. When she was in 6th grade, all kids wrote a letter of what they wanted to be when they grew up. And anything important they wanted remembered.
In the front of the building is a statue of a boy and girl at the flag pole. There is a time capsule in the square they stand by. It was supposed to be opened when they turned 18 but never was.
I would love to see if any survived and have a copy of my mom's.

I just think it's kinda funny that F.E. led me to a more intense study of geography and physics. Now, mud flood is making me way more interested in architecture! Thanks for the interesting high speed local tours that teach more than the style of architecture tours that cannot see the forests because of all those darn facade trees! Even with mud flood, none of those builds are tipping away from each other over the curvature! Lol.
Coming back from Chester where my sis-in-law bought a big camper woodstove with water heater that a shop makes locally down there, we were rolling through the little towns pointing out all the ancient brick buildings with sunken windows. My wife asked the lady at a sandwich shop in Moroni if she'd ever heard of Tartarians or noticed the odd below ground level windows on the old brick buildings in the small towns! Once they start to see it, some of the ladies turn into pitbulls! Lol.
    Teach!!! 👍
I was born in the 60's and grew up in a tiny midwest town of 90 people. It had an old brick 2 story grocery store with a Masonic lodge on the second floor, a 2 story big hotel with veranda decks all the way around both stories, a bank, a jail, a train spur grading without tracks ending nearby (story was they were building a spur and never got one, but in retrospect I'm thinking it was torn up before the arrival of the first immigrants), stone arrowheads in every creek and field, and most recently a cave with "Egyptian" artifacts ... Southern Illinois, near the mound builders (mud flood survivors?). Old Shawneetown on the Ohio River was the biggest "bank" in Illinois (before Chicago was a thought, the bank supposedly denied Chicago a loan because they would "never amount to much since they weren't near any rivers") and the town was "flooded". It's now a lone abandoned Tartarian landmark surrounded by a trailer park with cars up on blocks and weeds! The architecture and geographic observations defy the school mind programming.

@@questionsforchristians I grew up lds so yes I know about them and although I do not subscribe to any organized religion I do believe the Book of Mormon and book of ether to be legit. Interesting thing is that the Jaredites were Babylonians and the nephites said that the Jaredites built buildings “of every kind”. The Tower of babel was also made from bricks. I think Chicago is an ancient Jaredite brick city (Babylonian city). 🍻

@@streetsoftartaria ya that's kinda where I'm at. Like even though I seriously question EVERYTHING since b young. I believe the book of mormon and book of ether and j. Smith. Everything since then is a different story. One perfect example is the church leadership not only investing billions in satanic mammon companies, being paid about 120k+/year in their priestcraft, but also stating the c19 vaxksine was "Safe and effective" hmmm. Ya.okay. I'm sure You see what I'm getting at huh. Haha
So what do YOU do as a form of worship? Sounds like you believe in Jesus Christ. Since you don't subscribe to org. Religion what are you doing to really seek and develop a relationship with Christ? Not to say I believe there is no place for org. Religion but at some point the ceremonialism, false traditions and institutional salvation goes too far and really isnt the true gospel nor will it help us have the same experience as the brother if Jared, nephi, lehi, king lamoni etc. Is that what you think too?

    • @questionsforchristians
      @questionsforchristians 2 роки тому +1

@@streetsoftartaria ps-your comment about Chicago would be absolutely crazy of it turned out to be true. That would totally Make sense. Although I would put it either before the flood since the jaredites had to come across the ocean (from destroyed babylon) to get here and their civilization was up there RIGHT BY Chicago. If it wasn't pre-deluvian it could still totally be a jaredite city since babylon was brick and the jaredites came from babylon and they easily could've just kept going with what they knew hiw to do ya know. Do u have some videos about Chicago and the bricks n such?
I also think it's been an evil city for a long long long time. It's evil now (the zip code is even 60606 or something like that. But what if it was even the city where cain was given the boot and built a wicked civilization? I'll do some more research on it

Another thing is that Mormons are very superstitious and DO NOT feel good about symbols that are not “Mormon” which are basically none that they speak about. When did the Mormons change to being so against symbols? It doesn’t fit the narrative

Hi kaleb What an amazing building and it has that dodgie victorian time of build. I question any building that was built between 1850 to 1910 as I have found through my research when you go looking for proof of the building being constructed it is no where to be found. The outer decoration is a little different to similar UK buildings but the general shape and design is identical. I also think if you stripped away the grey stonework you will find a red/yellow brick building underneath. At 19.40 I think this is the type of brick the whole building will of been constructed from then the grey stone type cladding was added maybe by the victorians after the last reset. I do agree with you regarding the outside stonework cladding being added to a later date. The second building is much the same a brick building originally then tarted up by the victorians and I would say all the buildings in this area will be mud flooded and quite often new building in the same are will have been built on the foundations of the old building.

Wow, what an amazing building, obviously a mudflooder though, windows at ground level.
The faces are so interesting, one can almost imagine the "originals" as I like to call them, building a magnificent building with attractive additions just for the aesthetic value, something which never happens today, for no architect is able to replicate what the "original" did, they were masters of their world, obviously believing that beauty was more important than anything else.
The Greek Key or "Meander" pattern comes from a river in Turkey, the Meander River, which supposedly bent back on itself and which at the time was under the Greek Empire so originates from the Greeks rather than the Phoenicians, for they did not really do architecture, rather inhabiting buildings they inherited in the cities or places they moved into.
The Phoenicians, there is little to no proof they identified as a race of people, for it was the Greeks that coined the term Phoenicia, were a Semitic people from Canaan, which today makes up Israel, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan and parts of Syria, they were just one tribe along with other Canaanites like the Ammonites, Israelites, Endomites and Moabites.
The Phoenicians, who were a seafaring group, more like a confederation of cities, much like the EU is today, took over the west of Sicily with the Greeks on the east side, but gradually their population dwindled over a couple of hundred years although not before the Carthaginians came over (who were earlier Phoenicians who had taken over the city of Carthage in what is now known as Tunisia) and took control of the western side of Sicily only to end up fighting with the Greeks and then later the Romans who then defeated the Carthaginians in the Punic Wars.
The Phoenicians in Sicily only lasted from about 800BC to 500BC and were more involved in textile design, they were famous for their purple dye, which only came from a certain type of sea snail and was hard to produce therefore making it sought after and extremely expensive.
The use of the shell in architecture goes all the way back to the Egyptians, followed by the Greeks, who really went to town, using it to display fertility, representing Aphrodite for the Greeks, or Venus for the Romans.
Sea shells have always formed a large part of the psyche in the Mediterranean, used as currency and the Etruscans used to display rare examples, they were highly prized and highly sought after, so consequently they were often depicted on the wealthiest of buildings, showing the status of those who could afford to build such a large and imposing building.
The Christians carried on the symbology of the scallop shell, the one that is mostly associated with Aphrodite/Venus (Botticelli's Venus is a good example of how important the scallop shell was in representing fertility) and turned it into a symbol of purity, as a talisman against evil spirits.
I do wonder how long it took them to dig out and clean up these buildings, it must have taken far longer than we think and I don't wonder if that is where they lost nearly 2000 years of our history, for the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn speak to a lost 2000 year period.
Could it be that the world was flooded, as in the Bible, about 2000 years ago, then they just erased that time from our history, bumping up the timelines so that the Jewish year is the correct year, 5782 now?
Beehive is VERY interesting, all to do with Free Masonary.

I did think of doing a video about it all but I am not any good at that, I just have random ideas which bob around inside my head, not much else going on in there apart from stuff I learnt at school or have read about since then.
I love your videos, they are a wonderful spotlight into some truly magnificent buildings and I find it strange that you and Jon Levi are both in the same locale.
I imagine you've watched Michelle Gibson, Colm Gibney (star formations), Autodidactic and Tartarian Truthers to name a few?
Another good one who sadly hasn't done any videos for some time now is Olafthesverker, he's a Scottish lad who looks at the mud flood in Russia and Crimea, he has some interesting takes on the buildings as well and is quite funny at times.

About 6 feet of mud/silt all around the world indicates the scale of the attack and resulting response by earth/nature. The Tartarian timeline merged with our timeline at this time (dimensional bleeding) however the 5th dimensional Tartarians held a higher consciousness of who they truly were and opted to ascend back to a 5th dimensional timeline. Their buildings are littered all around our world and our history was rewritten to justify the magnificent buildings. In the 3rd dimension we rely on our 5 senses for our truth as we have lost most of our connection to our higher aspects.

Brigham Young was a Mason, but was not a 33rd degree Mason (technically an auxiliary degree of the Scottish Rite). It would have been impossible for Brigham Young to become such, since that degree was first introduced in Illinois masonic lodges (the only lodges to which Brigham had access prior to the exodus to Utah) in 1857, long after Brigham's departure. (The 33 degree did not become formalized in the Untied States until the early 1850's with the work of Albert Pike and Dr. Albert G. Mackey.)
It is important to understand the nature of the appellate bodies in Masonry. While a 33 degree mason might sound impressive, in fact such a person hold no more authority in Masonry than does the typical Master Mason (3rd degree)

And why is no one talking about Salt Air remember going there for field trips and I was little and then letting us all jumping in to huge salt piles like for real ..that structure and building, where it's at the history of Utah I've been saying this for decades here on my 42nd birthday in Utah today. and thank you because I've been saying this for forever. real deep Sur real deep. I have worked for a few different city and county job from mid to high-ranking jobs. I've learned a lot, and knowing what I know I believe I don't know shit and have friends all around downtown in St George, both Mormon and non-mormon, and it's crazy to think how deep and strange the supposed coincidences are between states and even those structures from different places like why is no one talking about Salt Air and the shape of that building where it's at like it's crazy. I worked at the zcmi the first department store on this here training they actually said that it was the first two-way horse-drawn carriages could go both ways .. I lived in Brickyard growing up and there used to be this house that I would see when I block home from my friends house and I always thought it was odd and it was a Freemasons I'm trying to find a picture of it I mean it was on 13th East and I always thought it was weird that a house had like a lit up sign from company like on the side of the street neighborhood it was weird and I was so young remember thinking what a Freemason my dad laid bricks as I was so young I thought it was weird to do that hard work for free ... and does anyone remember, the rave downtown years ago and they had like Homer Simpsons projected on the side of that building. Remember how there can't be any building taller then... what was it the temple or the church and office building and that's why Salt Lake does not have tall tall buildings? don't know about the conspiracy but there's definitely some more deeper level stuff that is going on for sure

I've been in a lot of historical buildings and worked for the streets and Construction, and was actually working downtown on Market Street by the federal building. it was weird that day besides the obvious reason. I pride myself on getting into areas that are restricted or I shouldn't be in backstage Underground you know low-key stuff that you got to know to know you know it's weird it's real weird out there the nooks and crannies between buildings and the DraStic change of workmanship there's no continuity other than look up like secrets of the World's Fair and tell me Saltair isn't one of them buildings

I bet that since these buildings are obviously strong, built well from brick and stone, can withstand disaster, go down into the ground, they’re probably safer places to be in the event of disaster, so they gave them to the politicians, etc. Those of us with lives that are in regular buildings will have no protection, but the political class will be protected.

Anytime you are triggered emotionally it’s a wonderful gift. The point of our holographic experiences is to find our way back to love. Sit with the emotion and feel it. Then thank the trigger and alchemise the low vibrational emotion. You don’t know what you need to clear unless you get triggered. If done properly you will never be triggered by that emotion again. Love is the highest vibration and at our core/soul we are love. Trust your intuition and your emotions.

The motivation at the time to build the city county building in Salt Lake wasn't really because of jealousy. It was more like the Mormons were holding all the political power, so the non-Mormon settlers decided to build something for all of the citizens to be involved. A lot of Mormon settler families had business dealings with non-Mormons in the late 1800's mostly because of the location in the trade route to California. Which is why non-Mormons even lived in the area at the time. If I remember correctly from my Utah History class, the Mormons were constructing a building with a similar purpose about a block away from the Salt Lake Temple (I think it was where the tunnel is that connects City Creek Mall to the Harmon's Grocery parking lot). I don't think they ever finished the building due to the new official city county building.
I could be wrong about some of the details but I'm pretty sure it wasn't just jealousy motivated.

    • @streetsoftartaria
      @streetsoftartaria  2 роки тому

I’m not saying it was built out of jealousy as I don’t believe the pioneers built this building at all or the temple for that matter. It’s just that narrative. Yes there was a storyline that the Freemasons were indeed jealous of the LDS temple and the free masons claim they built this SLC courthouse as well as a free Mason temple in Chicago out of jealousy/spite. Those tunnels were completely for benevolent purposes. Nothing Nefarious was ever done in a tunnel. I think Utah/Idaho/Nevada/Arizona was the Mudflood area full of buildings/cities that nobody wanted so the Mormons took it and made something out of it and they did a better job fixing up these cities than expected - hence the jealousy.
