At the 2012 Dark Shadows Festival Weekend held on the Lyndhurst estate in Tarrytown, New York on July 28, Jonathan Frid's nephew, Don, pays tribute to his beloved uncle.
I got to meet your Uncle John in Chicago when he was playing in Arsenic and Old Lace he was very polite and I've always loved him in Dark Shadows I couldn't believe that was him when I saw him standing there I actually got to talk to him for a few minutes he was so awesome
I may be young, but I fell in love with Dark Shadows' alluring tales and mystery. Jonathon Frid was captivating as Barnabas the Vampire but also as a family member in the Collins lineage. His acting was hypnotizing when on screen. This tribute was honorable.
If Jonathan Frid did not agree to play Barnabas Collins, Their probably would have not been No Dark Shadows. Barnabas Collins made The show excellent and very exciting. Thank you so much Jonathan Frid. 👏👍👏RIP. 💌

will never forget Baranbus Jonathan Frid...he had the one f a kind looks AND talent. I watch the movies of D S over and over adn want to relive thar era..a better day in this life.
