As an ex sailmaker, how do you respond to the fact that noone has designed for a the load to be transferred at the hip. Exactly at Trochanter Mayor? Saving one joint in the trusses? (link in the framework) thereby fully sailing with your legs.
The Combat sail Series is the best, perfekt balance power, light, good tuning range, easy to control both under and for sure overpowered condition ,High end Nielpryde qulity as always for the last 30 years i have been using them
It's great to see the benefits which the slight alterations of the new sail designs have to make both the draw power and control of the guidance accuracy of Windsurfers also, as improvements are always required to make upgrades in the sport.
Still have a few NP RS racing sails from 2010 and 2011, apart from 1 or 2 cambers breaking after all that use they are still working fine and look good, use them for training, bulletproof. The new ones from 2023-24 that I also have, feel lighter as main difference, they also have carbon battens, not much other difference I can tell sailing, the pros probably could. The NP cam rotation I call "electric" so smooth with this camber system, plus you can adjust the camber position with the rope system, very clever.
Best sails, best designer!!
VX2 was a rocket back in the 90s💥💥 loved that year of racesail ❤
As an ex sailmaker, I really appreciate what is being discussed in video interviews like this. Thanks.

I'm always fascinated by the tech but motivated by simplicity.
Stroj did well to convey the sophistication and complexity of modern windsurf sail design. Most of it went over my head
Great conversation! Thank you both!
NP MKIV (mach 4) from 1994. I loved the 6.8 and my Mistral Explosion 😎
Thanks for the vid guys!

The second part all the fans were waiting for. Moin Ben, Moin Robert

Love my 2021 V8's❤. Smooth power delivery and super quick too!

I've never owned a NeilPride sail, but the mechanical aspects sound super interesting. Maybe when I retire, I'll get into speed sailing!
Great sails. I love the EVO XV sails. Easy handling
Too many secrets Robert :) Thanks for the explanation!
V8 all time favorite
Rs racing 2023💯
I just started to use the v8 2024, i love it!
The Evo's are my weapon of choice. I have a few of the XI's and love them. But then I have used Pryde sails since the 90's so could be bias 🤙
1987 RAF Speed. It's never got better than that.
Did you talk about the Atlas? They are my favorite 👌🤙🤙🤙
Need a deep dive into the string and camber inducer please
Would be interesting to hear what he had in mind when designing the V8. At least the V8 is juicy enough for me!
Love my NP Atlas
Interesting stuff.
I'm wondering, apart from JP, what other boards would be a good combo with this? Starboard/Future fly?
Love Speedster. Please Ben, can you ask Men. Robert, Why there is only ONE outhall eye i the 2023 production? Both V8 and Speedster.
Not the last comment for this
For now it's Hellcat (Speedster) 6.7 but when i get better technique i might switch to race sail.
NP Evo is now one of the best sails out there. Unlike the RS Slalom (think it was the 2015 model) which imo was a complete disaster.
Nice brand.
He, and antoine are totally oblivious to the fact that a hipharness transfers load most efficiently.
💪
V8s since forever.
Too many secrets Robert :) Thanks for the explanation!
