Can I just say “way to go!” For Sandi for taking the time to find a good quality for her merchandise. People buy to show support but we don’t want to hang that stuff in the closet, we want to use it, so quality products are awesome. Also thanks for getting different sizes, I have to get a size up, for boob reasons. Lol
You've got this down to a science Sandi. It's wonderful that you have all of this data. All the frustration that it must save you from. Any and all breeders of anything need to keep records like you do. Banding, ear tags, etc.
Mark, the floor looks great!! Jess really did well after surgery-so funny. Our daughter got dry-socket. Yuck. Showing that on her wedding day is a great idea-LOL. And Lucy is getting so big. Sandi, you work so hard. Your editing is just top shelf. Didn't know what CIDRS were till today or the concept behind them. Always learning something. Enjoy the vid so much-always do!
My mom made steak for dinner the first night after my wisdom teeth surgery. I still haven't forgiven her for that. I hope Jess has a smooth recovery and avoids dry sockets.
Sandi, you do agreat job explaining the CIDr process. I'm almost 60 and never too old to learn. I truly enjoy all the science and husbandry you very thoughtfully tell us about. Thank you for all your dedicated hard work to tell us about sheep farming and seeing all your sacrifices to feed and clothe our families. Love your channels!! Happy New Year!!
Dang those 3rd molars! Yup, my daughter had hers removed 2weeks ago. She's 38 and she had a prolonged and painful time afterwards. But my son only had one 3rd molar! Lucky him! Glad Jess had hers removed early on! It's bad enough then, without waiting another 10 years. Love you Jess! You're a real trooper...👍💕 And Sandi, I looked at the new hoodies and they are gorgeous 😍
Sandi, great job in the video. You are a good mom Jesse was so funny I guess the med got her that way. I hope all is well over there. Just hang in there things will get better soon...much love
I swear you can totally tell the general disposition of a child when anesthesia is wearing off. You daughter was delightful and giggly. My child cussed like a sailor and embarrassed me to death when hers was wearing off.
One of mine was silly and noticed all the things around her. She thought they had covered her with a poop blanket and kept smelling it to make sure it was okay. My second was just silent and observant. No funny footage at all.
I used to work for an oral surgeon. Most were cool or funny. 🤣 One screamed that his mother wasn’t actually his mom and kept calling her a different name. 😳 The ones that broke me were the ones that didn’t wake up well, or as quick as they should. That scared me. A lot. I didn’t stay long. It definitely wasn’t a good fit for me.
What an interesting journey! Thank-you for taking us along for the ride. One constant in life is change and the amount of change that I have witnessed in farming in the last few decades is amazing. LOL at your ending with your daughter!
You amaze me everyday . You truly are amazing . Thank you for sharing your time with us. I love this channel .I found you last December 2019 fell in love with the 🐑 thank you thank you thank you.
The new black lambs are precious. Male/female?? You are so organized and do so well at making conscious choices for your stock. C is such a help, she is a keeper. Do you have a "never can leave" clause in her contract? How awesome only 5 open. Boys are doing their jobs well. Go Billys!!!! Jesse will not be happy with the after surgery pictures but we all have those moments in our lives. Just a thought but your pup looks like she could have some boxer in her. She's learning fast. Not spoiled at all....NO.
Oh my,, the moment that you filmed of Jess is priceless..Good old wisdom.. lol ..I had to watch that again and again. In fact make a loop of it about 5 times of parts and make a ring tone of it.. Made my day..laughter is the best medicine for a tough day.And all those little Bill'y's..awesome..
Awwwww the memories lol I laughed like a crazy psycho after my wisdom teeth were taken out. Even had tears of joy. The nurse or I guess dental assistant? Told my mom I was lucky as 90% of those given laughing gas wind up crying, like upset/I'm dying etc rather than happy laughing. Chew some gum, Jess! Sooner you can chomp, the faster it heals and takes the stiffness out of your jaw from them prying it open!
This video was SO FUN!!!! You had so many awesome things happening in it!! Twin Billy boys to add to the Ram Collection... SUCH AWESOMENESS!!!! How many more are coming to join the herd??? We need more Painted girls too!! Jess at the end... PRICELESS!!! I love her so much!! I know exactly what it's like to have wisdom teeth removed. She can probably expect to remove a shard of bone from her lower jaw in a week or two, some people don't, usually people get one, but me... I had both AND I got an infection in my upper right side all in 1 week from surgery. Returned to my surgeon for my 1 week check, in excruciating pain from the infection, and he said my mouth was healed as if I was 1 month post-op, he was amazed and said he's NEVER had a patient with an infection AND never had a patient remove 2 shards before. Leave it to me to be that one in a million!! This video is very educational about breeding, the sorting and CIDR process, and all the other goodness for sheep farming... with the highlights of our awesome Sandi!!! Thanks again for everything you do, and for sharing your days with us!!! Love the white board updates!! My days are complete with Sandi and her Sheep!!
Having the wisdom teeth removed almost seem a right of passage to adulthood. Now days you here of that surgery so often it has become common. The fun part of it is to listen to the kids as they come out from the gas. Yet your life revolves around the barn and sheep. There are so many things going on that I'm so glad you have the white board to keep you organized. For it seems as we get older, sometimes, we forget or remember when we get back in the house or doing something else. May your family stay healthy and safe.
Jess did great. I was much older when I had mine taken out. I have a super high gag reflex and the cotton gauze that was suppose to be in did not make it past the parking lot. As soon as I got in the car I fished the gauze out. My husband said you were supposed to leave those in a while, and I looked at him and said only if you want to clean up the car. ha ha... oh the joys of dental surgery... not...
Puppy playing with the ball was so cute. Shes going to need a bigger crate soon. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled using only local shots around the teeth. I get so sick when they put me out.
Jess reminds me of my youngest when she had her wisdom teeth out. I had to make a quick pharmacy stop for her pain meds. When I got back the inside of my Jeep looked like somebody slaughter something. It took quite awhile to get all the blood cleaned up. I still get a good laugh thinking about it. So glad your daughter came through so well
Interesting to learn the CIDR process and why you do it. I put CIDR into google to find out the acronym and all 4 videos in the results were your channel! Good job keeping up with the list writing! I hope Jess feels right as rain after that. She's a good sport!
Boo Hoo, my hoodie sizes are already sold out. [but great for YOU! Your business is up and going strong!] Congratulations!!! poor Jes, it will get better. She has a beautiful smile
OMG Sandi you guy's Crack me up absolutely "Love This Channel Don't Ever Change For Anyone" Jess had me nearly peeing my pant's after Surgery & trying to talk LMAO 😂😂😂 She is a Mirror image of my Daughter.... Yay two more Billy's they are soo soo cute😍
You make me smile all the time. You take my mind off of what is happening in my life and the world. I'm a good person and I'm older and disabled raising my granddaughter. A while go I jar asked you for something and I got a very hateful person telling me off and calling me a mooch. She doesnt know me and she shouldnt assume things. Just saying. Also I went thru my grandaughter getting her wisdom teeth out too. Love your videos. God bless you. This is the time that we should be caring.
Wait till she sees that Video lol. I'm 62 only have lower Wisdom Teeth and they have to be removed as well as Cyst that have developed. I'm waiting for Governor to lift Ban on Surgeries that aren't of utmost importance. I've been waiting over a month so far. Glad to see she was eating gives me hope. No one will Video me Yeah. The New Billy Rams are so cute. You'll have lots of Black Wool to do something with lol. Love your Videos. Peace from WV USA
Jess singing is epic!! "My milkshake brings all boys to the yard, & they're like mines better then yours, I'm like mines better then yours"..... I love her vibe!! 👩🎤❣
My mom made the mistake of taking my sister and I together for our wisdom tooth surgeries. She couldn't get us both in the car at the same time... one of us would wander away and she'd go after that one then the other would follow. Then my sister had a bad reaction to the antibiotics. She got a Rx for the vomiting and she reacted to that with hives.... no one was giggling. Such a happy Jess! Get well soon darling girl.
Sandi, It may be too late for this breeding group.... but. Why Not go thru your history of the origional "steele Compostite" ewes and pick out a few that are older but usually give you twins or more. Good momma's with lambs that usually have good weight gain. Then Cedir that small group separately and put them in with the new "Steele" rams for a time. Keep any ewe lambs that look good. And maybe a ram lamb or 2 if you need them. If it's a Small group and you pick ewes that usually lamb in the beggining of a group, it should not extend your lambing for very long. It's a bit more trouble, but if you cherry-pick a few at a time ( on the computer ) and just make a list a few at a time..... it would be do-able. Just an idea to get you replacement keeper lambs going forward. If they are part of a winter-ish breeding group, mosquito-carried problems wouldn't be a factor for either. Maybe you could breed any that miss this time to the new steele rams?
Kudos to mark floor looks great! And Jess we will never speak of this again. I'm getting to like this to-do list it's a good part of the segment. Another great video thanks

Hard to talk with gauze packing in where your missing wisdom teeth used to be! But Sandi you could sure be a dentist! Jess was in lala land & giggly...Lucy was sliding to get the ball...& you got two more BiLLY BaBieS! This was a sweet & delightful video!

Lol our moms might be related, mine made corn on the cob the day I lost my 2 front teeth
@Laurie Conway my mother cut the corn from the cob but it just wasn't the same....
Love how Lucy greets and escorts each lady after her exam!
Sandi you are a wonderful Mom to your daughter!
Aaaw, Jess handled that like a champ! I was a sobbing mess when I woke up from having my wisdom teeth removed.
I hope you feel better soon Jess
Hi Becky

I've been here over 2 years but 💖 hearing about ciders, tagging all the stuff you repeat for newbies😉

My son, 17 at the time, was telling the nurse how beautiful she was and they should get married...lol He didn’t remember anything!
@@carlinkay1151 🤣
I was told that i was combative. Don't remember none of it. However i had an operation recently, and was told the same thing. Not sure why.
Awe poor Jesse hope she feels better soon! Congratulations on the 97% Sandi!! The sheep all look great!
Poor Jess. I hope she is better soon! It gets kinda rough when the fun meds wear off. The two new little black lambs are adorable.
Hi Debbie

Never any gum or anything sticky after oral surgery. Very bad. Can pull the clots and cause dry socket.
Get well soon Jess.
Loved the surprise! True definition of “Adorbs”! ❤️❤️

You have great 👍🏼 whiteboard handwriting-printing! Keep listing! 😉
Jess is a super kid. She will love the post-surgery video. She was funny.
Hope she has a speedy recovery. ☺❤

Puppy playing with the ball was so cute. Shes going to need a bigger crate soon. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled using only local shots around the teeth. I get so sick when they put me out.
Hi Debbie

Billy buns always brighten the day.

Belly laughing over Jess’s rendition of the milkshake song.
Good thing Lucy has white legs cause she blends into your new floor 🤣😂🥰👏🏻
Your dog during the scan was hilarious.
I know it's a problem for you but entertaining to watch
Kudos to mark floor looks great! And Jess we will never speak of this again. I'm getting to like this to-do list it's a good part of the segment. Another great video thanks
Hey Sandi!👋 awesome looking wood floor in the house!! Jess was feeling good after surgery!😅 He safe and blessed Brock family! 😆❤👍
Your dog sure gets her exercise! 🐶 So cute!
Thank you for keeping on and explaining and breeding!! It is so cool!!
Great video Sandi
Sandi you can show a picture of the word for breeding and the algorithm doesn’t catch it so you won’t get demonitized 😚
I love how everyone I've known (and me) who gets their wisdom teeth out, immediately wants a milk shake or ice cream.
Lucy blends in with the floor. She is so cute.
Bravo sandi👍🏾💪💪
Jess made me laugh out loud! Videos after oral surgery are hysterical!
Sandi.
You are Rocking and Rolling with that many ewes bread. You have to be careful as that close family breeding of the ewes as that could give lambing problems. We covered that problem in my 4-H trainimg with my leader Mr. Howsal he had a small heard that he used as a teaching aid. Please Take Care of your self Plus Be Very Care Full around all Farm Equipment.
Hilarious ending 🤣 sorry Jess ... remember to stay safe and stay blessed
Hey Jess you otta go back and watch what your mom done to you after your surgery on mouth and think some way you can get her back cause your voice really changes when on medication.
Black ewes are so adorable to see being born thank you Sandi ❤️
Always learn something new.... like this time the details about the sorting so inbreeding doesn't happen is awesome. Hugs from Esquimalt
Jess - use damp black tea bags on your wounds. Just shove 'em in and chomp down lightly. I don't know what exactly it does but my oral surgeon told me to use them and it helped with swelling.
They are good for sore eyes too.
Tanic acid is a antiinflammatory agent. Also works for sun burns.
Carrissa is doing a great job- I think You should pay her a little extra* She deserves a raise!
I love your dog she tears back & forth should be pure muscle. Working hard ss always. Hope your well soon Tess
ohhhhh The sound of the lamb i love it
I admire how you work on your farm, I don’t think I will be able to get up in the morning everyday to work on it.
Just loved your video...you have a super family...all three types...👨👩👧👦🐕🐑🐏fantastic !!
Sorry Jess but your mother needs to show that on your wedding day in a few years. It’s awesome. Hope your feeling better soon. 🌹
Agree and hope she does feel better
Good one 😉😂❤️
CIDR's are basically birth-control impregnated tampons. Would FB demonetize you saying "tampon"?
Lucy trying to catch the ball was hilarious!
Kenzie wants to help, but doesn't know how. More training needed.
Those black lambs were absolutely adorable!!! 💖💖💖🐑🐑🐑
RE: Jess & her surgery...Been there, done that. My sympathies! Hope you feel better soon!!! 🧊🍨🍀🍀🍀🍀
Now we can show a ‘drunk’ Jess video to Jess. “This is what you are going to look like if you drink too much!” So Drink Responsibly !
Hard to talk with gauze packing in where your missing wisdom teeth used to be! But Sandi you could sure be a dentist! They ask you questions when you can’t talk and they know just what you’re saying! ❤️💕 Our daughter got her wisdom teeth out at about the same age. She almost got to get laughing gas until they told us how much more it would cost. She was a trooper our daughter! 💕 just had novocaine if I remember right. It’s been quite a few years I’ll have to ask her.
Awe the one is solid black 🥰😍 Love it. I home they both stay. And I really hope Jess didn't kill you when she seen this. Prayers she feels better soon
